climate Panic Idiocy

By Patrick Van Roy On September 21st, 2019

Ahhh Friday Millions of little children worldwide were exploited in an act of child abuse perpetrated by liberal eco-loon “teachers” to skip school and protest Nature, except they have been brainwashed through state sanctioned propaganda to call natures natural cycles “Climate Change”.  The Sky is falling and the only thing that can save us is total government control of everything.

For the sake of the planet we have to stop all consumption of fossil fuel.

You all know the cure for their imaginary end of the world. They shove their insanity down our throats daily no coal, no gas, no meat blah blah blah pure bull. The Earth is in excellent shape. Never before has man been less effected by the weather, less people are killed by catastrophic storms, more people are fed with the most abundant crops and live stock in history, and mans comfort of living has never been better.

Yet it’s the end of the world…… but this is not the first predicted end here is a great article for those in a panic…… relax and laugh at these fools.

This goes on and on….. you can see more ridiculous predictions of doom here continue reading and enjoy a laugh as you turn up the Air Conditioning as you leave your house to go for a nice long ride in the country in the Truck….

  1. we’re all gonna die 🙁

  2. Erlich wrote The Population Bomb before the real onset of the Green Revolution, the Third Agricultural Revolution. For example, after his ideas became popular, Norman Borlaug, the “Father of the Green Revolution”, won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1970 and is credited with saving over a billion lives. So the risk was there, and substantial intervention by government, science, industry etc… averted that risk.

There is substantial risk now. And hopefully governments, science, industry will again take the necessary steps needed to avert this new risk.

  3. So Seamus you believe we have to do away with fossil fuel ?

  4. Broadly speaking yes.

  5. wow….. do you understand what life on this planet would be like without fossil fuel ?

  6. With adequate replacements? Yes. Can you imagine life on this planet with cataclysmic climate change?

  7. there are no replacements and the Earth Climate has constantly changed since it was formed.

Over the next 100 years we will invent replacements that actually work and that are economical, but as of now they don’t exist and I really don’t think you realize how much of our world uses Oil. How many products would not exist without it.

Look around you….. how many things in your home have Plastic in them ? Now anything that has any plastic take it and throw it away.

That’s just one of the consequences.

  8. no computers, no cell phones, no tv’s, no cars, busses, or trains, the medical industry would cease to exist without plastic…

  9. “there are no replacements and the Earth Climate has constantly changed since it was formed.”

And is changing at a rapidly unstable rate due to human interventions.

“Over the next 100 years we will invent replacements that actually work and that are economical, but as of now they don’t exist and I really don’t think you realize how much of our world uses Oil. How many products would not exist without it.”

44% of Northern Ireland’s power comes from renewable sources. And Scotland’s is 74%. That is all without a huge amount of effort. Similarly increasingly new plastics are being developed that don’t use petroleum to develop them (bioplastic that a) don’t use oil and b) can biodegrade and thus don’t need to be landfilled). They are still, market penetration wise, in their infancy but they are there. Who knows where they will be in 2050 with a concerted effort.

So many of the things you say will be gone will not be. Plus a carbon neutral society is not a carbon free society. It is just that all excess carbon produced must be accounted for in carbon removal schemes (things like planting trees).

  10. Seamus so why then aren’t these things already in place ? Oh I know evil big fuel….

Bioplastics are great, but you have to cook the materials to make it…. oops carbon fuel…

Wow 44% ,,,,, funny because 45% of Ireland’s power comes from imported Natural Gas….. you better get busy…. that’s almost half your nation will freeze to death when you turn it off.

pluss how are you going to get the electricity to each house ? Electrical wires are created using furnaces to make the conductive material. What green technology exists to transport electrical current ?

  11. “Bioplastics are great, but you have to cook the materials to make it…. oops carbon fuel…”

No. Because as I said there is a movement towards renewable energy. As I pointed out 44% is made from renewable sources in Northern Ireland, with even more in Scotland. And that is without much effort. Imagine what it can be with effort.

“Wow 44% ,,,,, funny because 45% of Ireland’s power comes from imported Natural Gas….. you better get busy…. that’s almost half your nation will freeze to death when you turn it off.”

Steps are being taken to increase the proportion. And yes a large amount now comes from natural gas. In the future likely less so.

“pluss how are you going to get the electricity to each house ? Electrical wires are created using furnaces to make the conductive material. What green technology exists to transport electrical current ?”

Many houses will be a) semi independent of the grid (ie solar panels, batteries, heat pumps etc…) and b) again you can generate heat and power to fuel factories from renewable sources.

  12. and I agree Seamus….. getting off carbon based fuel is the future, but it really isn’t going to account for a majority of our needs for 50-100yrs.

And I don’t buy the disaster scenarios… we have ten years left, japan and new york will be underwater it’s bullshit.

The fake claims by the Green Community have done more damage than good to their cause.

I also know that the majority of the greens don’t have any clue to the amount of products and medicine even that comes from coal and oil.

There is a list if I can find the link I’ll post it.

The US has enough coal, oil, and lng to supply the entire rest of the world for the next 200 years. Not one pound/dollar has to spent buying russian/chinese/arab oil and gas.

Buy from US cut off the money to our enemies and we have plenty of time to develop alternatives that work and are cost effective.

The US is the cleanest industrial nation, we have cleaned our skies and water ways, we are not part of the paris accords yet we are the only nation to not only reach the goals but surpass them on emissions. and we haven’t built a nuclear plant in coming up mon 4 decades.

  13. Colm,

    we’re all gonna die 🙁

Sadly mate, that’s a fact of life. But you should always look on the bright side. 😁

Hopefully, nuclear and renewables will save mankind. But sadly, we have a habit of f**king things up for ourselves.

  14. I also know that the majority of the greens don’t have any clue to the amount of products and medicine even that comes from coal and oil.

True, but beside the point, and the point is power.

Radical communism has been a fact of life since the French Revolution. But just when everyone was finally admitting that the socialists lost the economic argument, so-called “climate change” has breathed new life into it.

“Climate change” is now rapidly becoming synonymous with radical leftism, because that’s the Trojan Horse for radical leftism. And that’s why the sensible majority will resist it.

  15. “Climate change” is now rapidly becoming synonymous with radical leftism, because that’s the Trojan Horse for radical leftism. And that’s why the sensible majority will resist it.

I’m used to you talking crap Pete, but that statement truly takes the biscuit.

  16. Well said Dave, it’s a laugh seeing Rightworld nailing themselves to fossil fuels forever.

Most of them are also Creationists. It’s an anti-science agenda at heart.

  17. Pete,

““Climate change” is now rapidly becoming synonymous with radical leftism, because that’s the Trojan Horse for radical leftism”

If that’s so and it might be one day, it’ll only be because the right has abandoned the field to the left, preferring to talk utter nonsense and deny the obvious instead of offer solutions.

So if the left run away with the ball, you’ve only yourself to blame. You didn’t show up.

  18. “I also know that the majority of the greens don’t have any clue to the amount of products and medicine even that comes from coal and oil”

Even if climate change were not a problem, and it is, that’s not the only reason to want to move away fossil fuels as fast as possible.

Air pollution alone, mostly from burning fossil fuels, causes something like 800,000 extra deaths a year in Europe and 8.8 million worldwide. In Europe that’s a likely reduction in life expectancy of more than 2 years (https://www.eurekalert.org/pub_releases/2019-03/esoc-apc030819.php)

It is impossible to look at all this information and come away with the idea that continuing to dump into the atmosphere should be free or should be encouraged. The atmosphere is finite and so is the amount of crap we can dump there without serious consequence. One way or another, Carbon needs to have a cap and/or a price. The burning of fossil fuels needs to reduce in a way that takes proper account of the benefits (which are considerable) vs the costs (which are also massive). There is simply no credible scientific or economic argument to the contrary.

  19. What Pete said is a hundred percent on the mark the head of the IPCC has said so himself.

Climate Change is communism/fascism/socialism/progressivism it is all complete government control of every aspect of your life.

Mankind can not effect the temperature of the planet only 3 things can The Sun, the Earths Orbit and the fact that 2/3rds of the planet is covered with Water…. everything else is Bollocks as you guys like to say……

  20. Bring on the Clockwork Tractors and Combine Harvesters then. Teams of men winding them up to bring in the harvest. Yep I can see it all working perfectly. Utter madness, glad I’ll be checked out in 40 years or so. Let the loonies have it.
