If you haven’t noticed in the last few months the U.S. Government has done a complete 180 on their stance on U.F.O.s. It has basically come right out and said that they are real and they have no clue what they are.

Now I found this quite puzzling. It has been the Govt. position that these things are nothing but the imagination of the crazy or stoned. As a Pilot the standing rule has been you do not discuss anything you see that looks “Not Right” if you make a report to the tower you discuss the “Anomaly” you are observing. At the end of your transmission they will be asked do you want to file a UFO report and the answer is always NO. If you say yes you don’t fly…… you’re grounded. That’s been the standard since the 70s.

Yet now the Navy releases films and reports and says they’re real…. Why ? I thought well maybe now that almost everyone in the US is walking with a camera in their pocket they can’t maintain control, but video is so easily discredited. I’m an amateur, but I have the software to fake a video and if I can do it anyone could. Now the reason has come out…. at least in my view.

In 2004 the U.S Government added the newest generation of software to it’s Radar systems. The package was part of an AI spyware upgrade. It brought a whole new definition to what could be interpreted by Radar (too many stealth arcft flying around) the softwares refinement to the signals were much better than expected. The U.S. Radar Networks are an integrated system, networked with our civilian radar. Exposure went through the roof. You can fake video you can’t fake the underlying data of the radar.

The results were immediate for the military here is a first hand account.

A former US Navy Senior Chief Operations specialist who specialised in radar systems has claimed UFOs may have always been present but only became visible after a “top secret upgrade on spyware”.

Kevin Day is a Topgun air intercept controller with more than 20 years experience in strike group air defence including war-time operations.

In November 2004, off the coast of San Diego, US, he was a radar operator on the USS Princeton, part of the USS Nimitz Carrier Strike Group.

On several occasions over a six-day period, military pilots reported seeing Tic Tac-shaped objects that performed remarkable manoeuvres beyond the capability of the US Navy’s aircraft.

This incident was made famous in a New York Times article on December 2017 in which it was also revealed the Pentagon had a secret UFO investigation program.

But in a recent interview on Tony Sweet’s Truth Be Told podcast, Kevin claimed UFOs may have long been in the air, only becoming visible following a recent radar upgrade. He said: “There had been a top-secret upgrade of our system that had gotten underway.

“They upgraded our cooperative engagement capability and did some tweaking on our spy radar and the way that it all works.

“I think because of these upgrades we were suddenly able to see things that had always been there.

“So if you had been on the older systems you wouldn’t have picked them up?” Tony asked.

“That kind of explains why since 2004 this technology, our upgrade, is now fleet-wide and now everyone is seeing them,” Kevin responded.

“I think that’s the reason why.

“I’m speculating, but it finally answers questions in my mind.”

The host asked: “At this time, did it enter your mind that this could be an extraterrestrial ufo?”

To which Kevin said yes.

He added: “After that intercept, that’s exactly what I’m thinking.

“This was non-newtonian, it was non-classical physics we’re seeing so it had to be something.

“What other explanations are there?”

Now I am a firm believer in the fact that there are millions of other civilizations out in the vastness of space. I am sure some have visited and some may have crashed, but they have not made their presence officially known because as of now we are no threat to anyone but our selves. We do not yet know how to travel the stars. I am sure when we reach that Level we will have first contact and not before.

So it will be interesting to watch the new government stance and see if their next step is to make a public display of investigation, or are they going to just shrug and say…. yeah they’re there and have always been what do you want from us ?

Thoughts ?

But solve the Fermi Paradox on the question whether there are other civilisations and interstellar travel and time travel etc:

    “Where the hell is everybody?”

  2. The Drake equation proves the mathematical reality that the odds are very good we are not alone, what you have to take into consideration with the Fermi Paradox is our own short comings Noel….

We can’t find irrefutable evidence because we don’t know what to look for ? It is our own lack of technological maturity that has prevented us from proving extraterrestrial life.

The upgraded radar proves the point. Craft we couldn’t detect we now can.

The craft aren’t american russian or chinese. They defy the laws of physics as we understand them and Fermi just got blown up on one level because we can see them now on a system that they can’t fake.

  3. Surely the real question should be is there intelligent life on Earth?

  4. //It is our own lack of technological maturity that has prevented us from proving extraterrestrial life.//

But if they can travel here, WHERE ARE THEY?

Even if they are so shy and preferred to stay invisible, everything in the universe emits electromagnetic waves and various other radiation, all of which we can detect with our technology.

There is no plausible reason why they should be so coy about it, or how they could prevent themselves and their equipmnet from emitting any radiation. If they are so infinitely advanced compared to us to be able to solve the space-time riddle and come here, then they’d have nothing to fear from a few meagre earthling nukes.

  5. Noel we now know where they are when they enter our atmosphere that’s why the declassification and the admissions by the Government we can now prove there are things in our skies that don’t follow the laws of physics as we understand them.

Even if they are so shy and preferred to stay invisible, everything in the universe emits electromagnetic waves and various other radiation, all of which we can detect with our technology.

The upgrade to our technology has now confirmed detection via these very means…. as we learn we see more that we didn’t know…. it’s the growth of our knowledge and our technology that has now allowed to reach the level where we can finally detect them.

When it comes to intelligent species we have yet to reach a level 1, we are only just taking our first baby steps.

As we are not yet a space faring race still locked into our planetary orbit let alone able to reach the nearest star interaction with us might be forbidden.

Why interfere with a primitive culture unless we have something they need, and if they did, and can travel the stars we wouldn’t be able to stop them.

But we would be a living archeological study I’m sure for some.

  6. Kardashev scale

The Kardashev scale is a method of measuring a civilization’s level of technological advancement based on the amount of energy they are able to utilize. The measure was proposed by Soviet astronomer Nikolai Kardashev in 1964.[1] The scale has three designated categories:

A Type I civilization—also called a planetary civilization—can use and store all of the energy available on its planet.
A Type II civilization—also called a stellar civilization—can use and control energy at the scale of its solar system.
A Type III civilization—also called a galactic civilization—can control energy at the scale of its entire host galaxy.

  7. The Drake equation proves the mathematical reality that the odds are very good we are not alone

LOL, coming from someone who totally rejects the proven physical reality of greenhouse gases.

The Drake Equation is a pure hypothesis with absolutely no observational data to support it, whereas we know for a fact that CO2 and methane are greenhouse gases which trap heat in the atmosphere.

  8. But if they can travel here, WHERE ARE THEY?

If they’re really a higher form of intelligence they’ll stay the fuck away from us.

  9. The drake equation is theory Peter…. Man Made Global Warming is also just a theory.

There is more proof of extraterrestrial life than proof man is making the planet warmer.

This is an example…… You believe your theory and demand that everyone else not only believe it, but curtail their lives in submission to it, or we’re all gonna die.

My theory is also a threat when a culture meets a less advanced culture the less advanced one is destroyed….. the history of our planet is rife with examples. With the new radar we know now for fact with proof that craft that aren’t manufactured here on this planet are flying through our skies at speeds and with maneuvers we can’t duplicate let alone survive the performance of.

Do you hear me demanding that we do anything ?

  10. The Drake Equation is a pure hypothesis with absolutely no observational data to support it, whereas we know for a fact that CO2 and methane are greenhouse gases which trap heat in the atmosphere.

Your second sentence is countered as follows:

    https://drmalcolmkendrick.org/2019/07/09/my-feelings-about-the-vaccine-debate/

I feel that I do understand ‘science’, whatever that means exactly. Or at least I understand the scientific method. Which primarily consists of questioning everything – and feeling free do to so. One thing I do know is that anyone who states that the science is settled, and inarguable, and all the experts agree, and must therefore be right – clearly does not understand anything about science. At all.

  11. Peter -your first sentence is refuted by the facts from the field of science, which you claim to understand

Bullshit. By observable data I meant observable data, as in signs of green men on Mars or a radio signal from ET. Please enlighten me if I have missed something.

Your second sentence is the usual anti-vaxxer conspiracist bullshit. I have no doubt that you are a believer in the MMR autism bullshit conspiracy. Well done, you are getting followers, with the inevitable result that measles is back:

“Between 1 January 2018 and 31 October 2018, there have been 913 laboratory-confirmed measles cases in England. This steep rise in cases (when compared to 259 lab-confirmed measles cases in 2017), was associated with outbreaks linked to importations from Europe that have led to some limited spread in the community, particularly teenagers and young adults who missed out on their MMR vaccine when they were younger.”

    https://www.gov.uk/government/news/measles-outbreaks-across-england

  12. Peter – the fact that there is a huge and growing number of known exoplanets within the habitable zone means that there will be life elsewhere, which refutes or at least strongly disputes your……

“The Drake Equation is a pure hypothesis with absolutely no observational data to support it…”

Sorry – but I don’t have any pictures of green men.

    As for…….

“Your second sentence is the usual anti-vaxxer conspiracist bullshit.”

the GP in the link states that he does speak as…..

“……one who has had seven hepatitis B inoculations and, once, just about managed to provide a blood test to show that I had made enough antibodies – to allow me to work as a doctor. A friend, who worked as a surgeon, had twenty-two hep B inoculations, and never managed to raise an antibody. He did explain to me how he continued to work as a surgeon, but I have forgotten how he managed.

“Which means that I have personal – and slightly painful – experience that vaccination is not equally effective for everyone. Why not? Does anyone care about such things? It seems not. Just close your eyes and vaccinate away. No-one can question anything. Such as, why do inoculations produce antibodies in some people, and not others? Kind of interesting you would think – but no. Question not, the mighty vaccination.

“This is strange, because it has been clearly established that vaccination does not work in many people:

    – ‘An outbreak of measles occurred in a high school with a documented vaccination level of 98 per cent. Nineteen (70 per cent) of the cases were students who had histories of measles vaccination at 12 months of age or older and are therefore considered vaccine failures. Persons who were unimmunized or immunized at less than 12 months of age had substantially higher attack rates compared to those immunized on or after 12 months of age. –

He also wrote about you – oh yes:

“I don’t really know how to open the debate out into something sensible. Something scientific, something questioning and positive. Screeching at people that they simply don’t understand ‘science’ is not a good approach. In addition, yelling that they are ‘killing thousands of children’ is not a way to conduct a debate.”

As for measles, it’s a disease of children which is part of nature’s package for priming immune systems.

But for you Peter, the science is settled – is that the case?

    – “I feel that I do understand ‘science’, whatever that means exactly. Or at least I understand the scientific method. Which primarily consists of questioning everything – and feeling free do to so. One thing I do know is that anyone who states that the science is settled, and inarguable, and all the experts agree, and must therefore be right – clearly does not understand anything about science. At all.”

    At all

  13. The drake equation is theory Peter…. Man Made Global Warming is also just a theory.

    Patrick

Let me make it as clear as I possibly can.

    1. There is no equivalence between the Drake Equation and the science of greenhouse gases. One is a hypothesis based on random probabilities. I agree that it’s interesting, but it has absolutely zero support in observable data, until the day that we hear from ET.

    2. On the other hand, we are 100% certain that CO2 and methane are greenhouse gases. If they were not present in our atmosphere this planet would be too cold for us to inhabit. Therefore we know that adding to those gases will make the planet warmer. This theory was first proposed about 1880 and we have seen the temperatures rise steadily since then as we have added to those greenhouse gases. Nothing else explains that temperature rise and even without thermomoter records we have the visual records of disappearing glaciers on land and rising sea levels as those glaciers melt into the oceans.

I read your link, there was no need to paste it.

I have been a keen amateur astronomer for decades and have a decent telescope and sky-map software, so I am well aware of the exciting discoveries of planets and water on the moon etc. And it may well be that there is life out there, whether microbes or super-intelligences. But as of now there is zero evidence.

For the record can you confirm that you are an anti-vaxer?

  15. //Now I am a firm believer in the fact that there are millions of other civilizations out in the vastness of space. I am sure some have visited and some may have crashed, //

I’m sure there are other civilisations too, but in the unimaginable vastness of the universe, I don’t think they have visited us, let alone even know of our existence. And I’d be surprised if they had the hugely advanced technology to visit us, they’d cock up at the last minute and crash into to Earth.

  16. We do not yet know how to travel the stars. I am sure when we reach that Level we will have first contact and not before.

I think you’re confusing reality with Star Trek Patrick.
Even if we managed to achieve near light speed or faster than light speed which may not actually be possible, it would still take many generations even to travel to some of our nearest neighbours.

  17. Upon reading this, I was about to say more or less what Dave says just above.
I had never realised how utterly vast the distance is between our solar system and even its closest neighbours until…I dunno, some time ago. I think the problem is, we look at the moon and at first imagine it to be somewhat larger and nearer than it is. I always used to think that if Earth was represented by say a grapefruit then (on that scale) the moon was about the size of an apple, at a distance of say three grapefruit-diameters away. Turns out it’s more like a cherry tomato located six feet away, or something like that.
The nearest sun is, I think, Alpha Centauri and isn’t that about 15 light-years distant? And the odds of any earthlike / life-supporting (as we know it) planet orbiting any given star are…quite low. So any aliens would be looking at a journey time of probably multiple thousands of years just to reach us. Just to do a quick fly-over and then depart again? Hardly seems worth it. But then again, who knows what an alien might think.
It’s not Klingons, anyway, because they’re from a different galaxy, just saying.

Humans just can’t get their head around the vastness of space. even if you think you understand just how big it is, and how far apart everything is, it still difficult to even imagine it.
Science fiction doesn’t help the situation by making it look as if we can just pop from planet to planet at light speed or ‘hyperspace’, in no time at all.

this video from one of my favourite YouTube channels really gives you a sense of just how far away our nearest neighbours actually are:

  20. good video Dave

  21. Cheers Patrick.
    I like Cody’s lab. He’s a very smart guy.

  22. Isn’t the closest star other than the sun Proxima Caentauri?
    I could just Google it, I know…

  23. And having Googled it, I was correct 😊 Although Alpha Caentauri A and B (it’s a binary system) are, on a universal scale, right next door to it.

  24. Seimi.

If you watch the video link I posted, you’ll see he explains all about our closest neighbour, Proxima centauri at the end.

  25. the gentlemen even mentions that there is a debate on whether or not Proxima is actually in rotation with Alpha A/B that it may be a triple not a binary

  26. Indeed Patrick.

  27. I subscribed to his feed Dave interested in checking out some more of his vids.
