Sloppy Joe

By Mahons On October 10th, 2019

Despite Trump’s fact free accusations against Joe Biden, and Trump’s debunked conspiracy theories and appeals to foreign governments I feel Joe Biden made a mistake in calling for Trump’s impeachment. He should have stayed above the fray and said Congress has the duty to handle the impeachment inquiry and it is too early to offer an opinion as to Trump’s guilt or innocense by someone running for that very office.

I get that in the Trump era anything less than all out political war is unlikely, but the frontrunner of the party in control of the inquiry should not be influencing that party with self-interested prejudgment.

Biden’s arrogance, breathtaking incompetence and insincerity are well known. And the outright lies about him repeated by the President and his supporters are also well known. But he is doing the country and the Constitutional process no favors by his words today.

  1. It’s going to be interesting reading your posts over the next couple of months.

  2. There is zero evidence that Joe Biden did anything wrong

The US has a completely corrupt set of laws That should be reformed So that what Crooked hunter Biden or what Crooked Mitch McConnell’s wife have done would be for the first time against the law

Notice that the fake news brigade have never here criticized the activities of Mitch McConnell’s guanxi wife

The mob are completely unaware of those activities, because Sean Hannity has not spoken about them

Let there be no comment, before instructions are given

  3. I have repeatedly said that both sides are corrupt you just choose not to recall it….

I just did a Hannity post just for you Phantom.

  4. You never mentioned Elizabeth Chao

Her husband is an important guy

  5. not by name or in particular but I’ve clearly said all politicians run these family scams. Years ago I did post on it based true on a democrat (Harry Reed) but the LA Times laid all the info out on him.

Not one person that enters congress doesn’t leave a millionaire. And their families amass wealth. Everyone on both sides of the aisle need to audited and the ONLY cure to even attempt to address this problem is termlimits.

  6. Yes, but no specific comments on Mitch McConnell and his crook wife, Who is in bed with the Chinese communist every day of the week

    Very specific comment on Democrats

    Only

  7. show me republican that I ever defended that committed a crime……

As a rule I don’t go after anybodies family, even politicians. Phantom we can argue about a lot of things…. hell we argue about things we agree on, but to argue I’m not black and white on this issues is just silly.

  8. ot

    this caught my eye

  9. “Trump’s debunked conspiracy theories”
“Zero evidence that Joe Biden did anything wrong”

Clearly the dupes who wrote the above have been in outer space because one thing which has been provided at ATW is links to Biden’s own words on pulling the Ukrainian prosecutor from an investigation into corruption where his coke-addled son was involved.

  10. Allan

I am highly critical of Hunter Biden and Elaine Chao, and of their family members who played along with their connected actions. No one else here has mentioned Chao or McConnell by name. The Trumpers never mention Republican corruption in any detail, we know that.

There is no evidence that Joe Biden did any corrupt thing. His public comments do not point to anything like that.

It should have been illegal for Hunter Biden to take such a job, or for Chao to take money from China, but it’s not.

  11. “it is too early to offer an opinion as to Trump’s guilt or innocense by someone running for that very office.” I disagree. Trump confessed to the crimes and is covering them up. The words are public and self-condemning. Biden as a candidate has a right to call for impeachment based on what we all know and would be remiss not to do so. It is a difficult time for the country, but Trump should not have asked a foreign leader for a “favor” that would benefit him politically which is the cause of the difficulty.

  12. There is zero evidence that Joe Biden did anything wrong

100% correct Phantom and despite the best attempts of the Trumpeteers to throw shit at this and hope something sticks and others trying to warp events to suit their warped imagination I’ll bet the mortgage that the charges that Pat’s predicting in the coming months amount to nothing.

This is a lucid, crystal clear account from a few days ago of how I see events:

Paul McMahon, on October 6th, 2019 at 9:04 PM Said:

Okay, I’m going to lay this out as I see it simplistically point by point and any rebuttals or comments are welcome

    – Trump attempted to enlist the help of the Ukrainian President in obtaining information about his electoral rival Joe Biden in order to damage Biden’s superior position in the polls. An illegal offence I believe under US law.

    – Trump was exposed in this and as a means of deflection propagated the Joe / Hunter Biden corruption allegations

    – Biden has absolutely admitted his role in delaying aid as a condition of the anullment ot the political appointment of Viktor Shokin regarding allegations of heavy involvement in corruption. This position was shared by the US, the UK, the EU, the IMF domestic Ukrainian civic and political society.

    – Hunter Biden may or may not be a shady businessman but he has committed no crime under US law and his Naval record or previous activities have absolutely nothing to do whatsoever with the insinuations and allegations levelled against him. Biden JR is currently NOT being investigated by any US agencies.

    – Joe Biden used US aid as leverage to get rid of an allegedly corrupt Ukrainian Prosecuter General, a position held by all major western powers. It’s my understanding that Biden Snr is currently NOT being investigated by any US agencies.

Trump supporters are trying to counter Trump’s self admission of enlisting the aid of a foreign national in attempting to blacken a domestic US political rival by stating that the Obama administration paid the former MI6 intelligence agent, Chris Steele to open an investigative dossier on Trump prior to the election. It’s my understanding that this dossier was contracted by individuals outside the Obama adminstration and very far from Democrat politics.

Is that correct? Point by point comments welcome.

  13. There is no evidence that Joe Biden did any corrupt thing. His public comments do not point to anything like that.

    OK – let’s take a different angle……

    https://consortiumnews.com/2019/10/08/the-new-yorkers-partisan-attempt-to-refute-its-claim-of-partisan-disinformation-on-biden-and-ukraine/

Can you imagine if the Trump administration finally succeeds in overthrowing the Venezuelan government and a couple of months later Vice President Mike Pence’s son (who wasn’t kicked out of the Navy for drug use) lands a spot on the board of a privatized Venezuelan national oil company?

That is exactly what happened with Biden and his son Hunter in Ukraine.

And then imagine that the U.S.-installed government of Juan Guaidó begins an investigation into corruption at the oil company and wants to question Pence’s son. So Pence flies to Caracas and tells Guaidó he won’t get a $1 billion U.S. credit line until the prosecutor is fired. Six hours later the prosecutor begins cleaning out his desk and Pence later brags about it in an open forum at the Council on Foreign Relations.

That is exactly what Biden did in Ukraine.

The fired Venezuelan prosecutor then gives an affidavit under oath that Pence had him fired because he was investigating his son’s company and that the U.S. had taken over the country’s prosecutor’s office.

That is exactly what the Ukrainian prosecutor testified.

  14. OK – let’s take a different angle……

No, let’s not. Let’s stick to what we know to be fact:

    – Biden has absolutely admitted his role in delaying aid as a condition of the anullment ot the political appointment of Viktor Shokin regarding allegations of heavy involvement in corruption. This position was shared by the US, the UK, the EU, the IMF domestic Ukrainian civic and political society.

  15. That’s as clear as daylight Paul
There is zilch on either Pa or son.
Not even the suggestion of an inquiry to determine if any law was broken.
Ergo it’s just another dumb dumb conspiracy theory .

  16. The utterly unqualified getting a job like that at such a high salary was corruption though.

That Ukranian company only hired him because of who his father was, only because they thought it would help it with the US in some way.

    Legal, but openly corrupt.

Dems don’t want to say that but it’s true.

  17. The utterly unqualified Hunter Biden

  18. Let’s stick to what we know to be fact:

    https://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2019/10/04/a-witness-to-the-collapse/

As for the charge that a Ukrainian president was told to do a favor in exchange for a payment, the record is crystal clear that it was Biden who gave the Ukrainian president 6 hours to do as he is told or forfeit one billion dollars of US taxpayers’ money. Biden bragged on it before the Council of Foreign Relations. The boast is captured on video. I posted it. It is all over the Internet. The Ukrainian prosecutor himself gave sworn testimony that he was fired on Biden’s orders. The prosecutor was investigating a firm from which Biden’s son was collecting huge sums in exchange for his father’s protection of the corrupt firm. The evidence is clear.

But what do we hear from the media, especially the CNN and NPR whores? We hear that the charges against Biden are just politics, but that the charges against Trump, unsupported by the evidence, require Trump’s impeachment.

Here is what Biden said – fact…..

I said, you’re not getting the billion. I’m going to be leaving here in, I think it was about six hours. I looked at them and said: I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money. Well, son of a bitch. (Laughter.) He got fired. And they put in place someone who was solid at the time.

    But Mr Solid stated:

“Unfortunately, Mr. Biden had correlated and connected this aid with some of the HR (personnel) issues and changes in the prosecutor’s office,” Lutsenko said.

A prosecutor’s office has a legal function, and this is interference in the legal function of a foreign country

Between April 2014 and October 2015, more than $3 million was paid out of Burisma accounts to an account linked to Biden’s and Archer’s Rosemont Seneca firm, according to the financial records placed in a federal court file in Manhattan in an unrelated case against Archer.

The bank records show that, on most months when Burisma money flowed, two wire transfers of $83,333.33 each were sent to the Rosemont Seneca–connected account on the same day. The same Rosemont Seneca–linked account typically then would pay Hunter Biden one or more payments ranging from $5,000 to $25,000 each. Prosecutors reviewed internal company documents and wanted to interview Hunter Biden and Archer about why they had received such payments, according to interviews.

Just to underline why the legal process was stopped by Joe Biden:

Prosecutors reviewed internal company documents and wanted to interview Hunter Biden and Archer about why they had received such payments, according to interviews.

    https://thehill.com/opinion/white-house/436816-joe-bidens-2020-ukrainian-nightmare-a-closed-probe-is-revived

But Ukrainian officials tell me there was one crucial piece of information that Biden must have known but didn’t mention to his audience: The prosecutor he got fired was leading a wide-ranging corruption probe into the natural gas firm Burisma Holdings that employed Biden’s younger son, Hunter, as a board member.

U.S. banking records show Hunter Biden’s American-based firm, Rosemont Seneca Partners LLC, received regular transfers into one of its accounts — usually more than $166,000 a month — from Burisma from spring 2014 through fall 2015, during a period when Vice President Biden was the main U.S. official dealing with Ukraine and its tense relations with Russia.

The general prosecutor’s official file for the Burisma probe — shared with me by senior Ukrainian officials — shows prosecutors identified Hunter Biden, business partner Devon Archer and their firm, Rosemont Seneca, as potential recipients of money.

Shokin told me in written answers to questions that, before he was fired as general prosecutor, he had made “specific plans” for the investigation that “included interrogations and other crime-investigation procedures into all members of the executive board, including Hunter Biden.”

Yes, let’s stick to what we know to be fact

  19. Not even the suggestion of an inquiry to determine if any law was broken.
Ergo it’s just another dumb dumb conspiracy theory .

There was an investigation on-going in Ukraine, one that Joe Biden scuppered by arranging the dismissal of the prosecutor. That investigation had Hunter Biden in its sights as seen from reading evidence above.

  20. No crimes being investigated.
If that changes it’s a story if not it’s as Paul claimed . A deflection a distraction .smoke and mirrors is called smoke and mirrors for a reason. Pause and reflect .
Ofc Allan you are free to waste your precious time chasing down rabbit holes .

  21. The utterly unqualified getting a job like that at such a high salary was corruption though

Hunter Biden may or may not be a shady businessman but he has committed no crime under US law

Joe Biden scuppered by arranging the dismissal of the prosecutor

Which was the position of the US, the UK, the EU, the IMF domestic Ukrainian civic and political society.

Why are you focusing on just one aspect?

  22. All those countries were on the take.

Because ” Honest ” Donald Trump said so.

  23. Allan history is full of what should have been. It’s what you can make stick that counts . Trump for example has clearly broken the law . Boden may have but so far nothing is coming up that prosecutors are running with. All you have is claims . Money being trousered for services . Like phantom said it’s not great sma is of nepotism . But crimes it isn’t . Else name the Lars . Now

  24. Laws

  25. Lol a republican buddy of mine just whispered to me . It’s a crime because it’s Biden dude that’s the game were playing . Wink wink nudge nudge .
    Lol ofc d’oh 🤔

  26. Not even the suggestion of an inquiry to determine if any law was broken.

    and yet……..

The general prosecutor’s official file for the Burisma probe — shared with me by senior Ukrainian officials — shows prosecutors identified Hunter Biden, business partner Devon Archer and their firm, Rosemont Seneca, as potential recipients of money.

The prosecutor was extremely unpopular with the cabal because who else could have been reciving money from Burisma, and the coup de grace was delivered by Joe Biden who had more flesh in the game. Let’s stick with the facts

  27. Okay, if it’s facts you want:

Biden has absolutely admitted his role in delaying aid as a condition of the anullment ot the political appointment of Viktor Shokin regarding allegations of heavy involvement in corruption. This position was shared by the US, the UK, the EU, the IMF domestic Ukrainian civic and political society.

    All verifiable fact.
