MORE CONVENIENT RUSSIANS

By Pete Moore On November 4th, 2019

A report on alleged Russian interference in UK democracy will not be published until after the election.

It has gone through the standard security clearance process, but sources say No 10 is stalling on releasing it […]

The report examines Russian activity including allegations of espionage, subversion and interference in elections.

The BBC’s Mark Urban said the delay would increase concerns the report would be “buried”.

The report, written by Parliament’s Intelligence and Security Committee, was finalised in March and referred to No 10 on 17 October.

“It woz the Russians” didn’t work over there. Maybe they’re hoping for more traction over here. Legion d’honneur recipient Dominique Grieve chairs the Intelligence and Security Committee. If foreign interference is his concern, his socks will be blown off when he finds out the extent of EU meddling in the UK.

  1. gotta give it to Putin, even though i can’t stand the guy
He’s flipped USA and is currently flipping the UK
Putin the Master – Trump/Johnson puppets ( amongst others )

  2. Putin is/was a judo practitioner.

He has used Trump’s blundering ego against him.

Putin can’t build a good economy for Russia, but he knows how to mess with other nations.

  3. The UK is part of the EU so the question of ‘meddling’ is a fallacy. But why is Pete so keen to see potential real foreign interference, namely Russian interference in the UKs affairs kept hushed up until after the election ?

  4. Notwithstanding a bit of the old bareback mountain photos
The Right seems to enjoy semi-nudes of white nationalist Putin on horseback.
They regard education as something faggoty, real men to them are men who can put a women in her place; shout and brag loudly and shit on other cultures.
    Jesus wept.

  5. Does anybody have anything of substance on the reported ‘meddling’? All I see is…..

Putin the Master – Trump/Johnson puppets ( amongst others )

    Evidence?

namely Russian interference in the UKs affairs

    Evidence?

He has used Trump’s blundering ego against him.

    Evidence?

    absolutely nothing

So anything of substance would be a good start. Cheers

  6. Thought it was getting crowded in the voting booth..place was full of cossacks….nah. more remainer bullshat.

  7. OT but there is a serious environmental disaster taking place. We don’t hear much about it because it’s in India, and neither Greta nor Peter are concerned by 3rd-worlders polluting our world: it’s only Europeans and north Americans who pollute

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-india-50280390

Air pollution in the north of India has “reached unbearable levels,” the capital Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal says.

In many areas of Delhi air quality deteriorated into the “hazardous” category, with the potential to cause respiratory illnesses.

Low visibility caused more than 30 flights to be diverted on Sunday.

Greta Thunberg and her army of Climate Warriors are marching down the streets with signs warning of a climate crisis. But, for some reason, she has yet to talk about the countries most responsible for polluting and contaminating the environment.

To make matters worse, the Climate Empress has stated that “richer countries such as Canada and Sweden need to get down to zero emissions much faster so people in poorer countries can heighten their standard of living by building the infrastructure we have already built.”

She wants whites to live like the Amish while India and the rest of the world continue to destroy the planet.

By demanding white countries take the first step towards carbon neutrality, they’re making people believe that whites are causing the most harm to the environment, and that is not true.

Whites are the only ones that even care about the health of the planet. Why else would she be preaching in the United States and Europe but not in India?

H/T – The Daily Stormer, the true environmental site

  8. I have no problem in not listening to this annoying child.

But Allan, how do you propose to get to a better environment for your country and the world.

  9. Another middle-aged man who is triggered by a 16 year old girl. Why do you all feel so angry about her?

  10. But Allan, how do you propose to get to a better environment for your country and the world.

My country is rather clean apart from the excess of plastics, but the 3rd-world is the source of most pollution. They really don’t care at all about the environment for, if they did, space-travelling India would clean up its mess in the manner of Europe and north America. Send Greta to India to sort it out 🙂

Why do you all feel so angry about her?

Seimi – do you not think that for greater effect, Great should campaign in India where there really is pollution?

I see from my link that…..

Levels of dangerous particles in the air – known as PM2.5 – are far higher than recommended and about seven times higher than in the Chinese capital Beijing.

which means that the Chinese are cleaning things up, and it affirms what I saw when landing at Beijing – I could see everything

  11. Allan
Yeah you’re right. She should have gone to India as soon as this was reported – which was today.

Again: why are so many of you middle-aged men so angry about her? What is it about her that triggers you all?

  12. I’m not angry about her and haven’t discussed her much.

But it’s silly to see her as an expert or as the leader of anything.

I favor carbon/pollution reduction measures that would be much stronger than what most are talking about.

  13. She should be subject to the same criticism that Al Gore got, or that any adult politician gets. This ain’t beanbag.

She said that she would not agree to meet Trump if he offered to meet. That to me is the remark of a kid who doesn’t know anything. Trump should be the first person that she wants to meet with.

  14. why are so many of you middle-aged men so angry about her?

Seimi – I’m not angry and, indeed, I get the joke. The idea that a 16-year-old from Sweden would be expert in all that she says is absurd and rather funny because I used to be 16 and I even know some 16-year-olds. 16-year-olds today are even more idiotic than when I was 16, and yet there are people out there who are stupid enough to take her seriously. Oops – sorry 🙂

  15. Allan
Yeah you’re right. She should have gone to India as soon as this was reported – which was today.

Good point Seimi. India only began polluting yesterday

  16. I didn’t say she was an expert in anything. I don’t think she is an expert in anything. We all know that she is not an expert in anything. She is a 16 year old, who has spoken out about climate change and the damage we are doing to the planet. Because of her age and the fact that she has Asperger’s, her direct talking, from such a young person, has captured the imagination of many, and she is now seen as some kind of spokesperson. But nobody thinks she is an expert. She is, of course, be criticised, on a par with any other person you might want to compare her too, but at the end of the day, she’s only a 16 year old girl, who vis not an expert in anything. Which makes the fact that you all get into such a tizzy when she is mentioned all the more puzzling to the rest of us.

Good point Seimi. India only began polluting yesterday

The article you linked to was on the BBC site only today. I don’t remember you complaining about India polluting before today. Why not?

  17. her direct talking, from such a young person, has captured the imagination of many, and she is now seen as some kind of spokesperson

Seimi – you take Greta seriously, don’t you? You hang on every word 🙂

As for India polluting, I showed that India’s rivers contribute enormously to the oceans’ burden of plastic

    https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2018/06/90-of-plastic-polluting-our-oceans-comes-from-just-10-rivers/

By analyzing the waste found in the rivers and surrounding landscape, researchers were able to estimate that just 10 river systems carry 90% of the plastic that ends up in the ocean.

Eight of them are in Asia: the Yangtze; Indus; Yellow; Hai He; Ganges; Pearl; Amur; Mekong; and two in Africa – the Nile and the Niger.

You should maybe text Greta to get over to India, or Africa, or China.

  18. Seimi,

“I didn’t say she was an expert in anything. I don’t think she is an expert in anything. We all know that she is not an expert in anything”

Most of her remarks are in line with the best science on the topic, and she has access to world class experts who review her speeches scientific content (and yes, she writes those herself).

She is also very smart and certainly far better informed than any of her critics here. Many of whom who believe a litany of batshit that flies in the face of all logic and evidence, and who (despite having decades extra in which to educate themselves) manage to be less informed on these topics than the average pub quiz or 14 year old never mind experts and 16 year olds.

  19. …and she has access to world class experts who review her speeches scientific content (and yes, she writes those herself).

I stand corrected. Is it that, then, which so excites the blood of people like Allan and Pete? Do they not like intelligent, coherent girls who speak their minds?

Seimi – you take Greta seriously, don’t you? You hang on every word 🙂

I take the subject of polluting our planet and destroying our environment very seriously, so yeah, I do take her seriously. I agree with what she has to say. As has been said here and on many other forums by many different people, if she was my daughter, I’d be extremely proud of her, whereas you? You hget angry about her. Are you scared of her, Allan?

You should maybe text Greta to get over to India, or Africa, or China.

Maybe I should text her to get up to Aberdeen. That would send you running with a stomach bug, eh?

  20. What is the point of anyone meeting with Trump. He is a pathological liar and c leary unhinged. He has utterly diminished the credibility of his office.

  21. You have to meet with him

He shouldn’t be the president but he is the president

And if you do get his ear, He might do Right thing sometimes . Kim Kardashian convinced him to sign a good prison reform bill ( fact )

When Trump Signed the very harmful to the blue states and budget “ tax reform “ bill he claims that none of the Democratic leaders including Schumer called him to try to get him to change his mind on the matter

I’d talk to the devil himself in pursuit of a worthy goal

  22. Why is the report not being released before the December election? It seems like something voters should know about.

  23. //What is the point of anyone meeting with Trump. He is a pathological liar//

But he’s also a pushover, and would be easily swayed by an absolutely unthreatening young girl. He might well then make important decisions that he otherwise never would. If the US broought its strength to the fight against climate change, it would make a decisive difference.
It’s impossible to exaggerate how important this struggle is, and the US is a key player.
She should definitely have met Trump.

//I didn’t say she was an expert in anything. I don’t think she is an expert in anything. We all know that she is not an expert in anything. She is a 16 year old, //

None of this matters. In fact, it could be an advantage.

There was once another meek 16-yr-old girl who was not an expert in anything except minding sheep and spinning wool by her mother’s side, certainly not in military or political matters.
But on the strength of a vision she had she was given control of an army, which she led from victory to victory, got a man she supported crowned national king and set in motiona process that saw the English driven from her country and France become a nation state.

You shouldn’t underestimate the strength of these La Pasionaria figures. A diverse and leaderless movement often needs one.
That’s why she’s feared and hated by people trying to deny climate change.

  24. But he’s also a pushover

Yes. Kim Kardashian’s influence on an important issue shows that.

IMO Greta is a completely awful figurehead for an important cause.

Her extreme youth in ” leadership ” reinforces the idea that the movement is a frivolity.

And her stated refusal to consider meeting with the one guy who it’s most important to convince proves that she’s a moron.

It isn’t necessarily important that leaders meet with their friends. But it is essential that they meet with their opponents, most of the time anyway.

Trump isn’t ideologically committed to the cause of more pollution and more warming. He supports polluters and is trying to force automakers to pollute more because of poorly understood personal and tactical reasons alone.

An effective leader would butter him up and seek to change the monotone conversation that he is having with the likes of Wilbur Ross and the Koch Brothers.

Handing this issue to a foolish teenager has harmed the cause a great deal.

    Talk to people.

  25. Handing this issue to a foolish teenager has harmed the cause a great deal.

I don’t think she’s foolish at all, and the focus on her has highlighted ‘the cause’ rather than harmed it.

I’m not angry about her and haven’t discussed her much.

She should be subject to the same criticism that Al Gore got, or that any adult politician gets. This ain’t beanbag.

Make your mind up. She’s either a foolish kid who shouldn’t be trusted with a ’cause’ or she should be subject to the same level of criticism as an adult.

Trump should be the first person that she wants to meet with.

I do agree with this. Aside from thinking it would be comedy gold, to watch the Don be tied in knots by a 16 year old girl, as the leader of the US, he is the very person she should be directing her dialogue at.

  26. She put herself in this position, not me.

She deserves criticism, despite her being a fool who doesn’t want to meet with the one guy that she most needs to meet with.

  27. Even a sixteen year old should know that you must meet with the person that you most need to convince, to turn around.

She has no idea what she is doing.

  28. Just because she has said she won’t meet him, doesn’t mean she won’t. People are always saying things and then doing the opposite.I would imagine her PR team can see the benefit in her meeting him at some point in the near future.

  29. She has no idea what she is doing.

A bit harsh, and as Frank showed above, she’s a smart kid.

    I’m not angry about her…

    You sure? 😉

  30. I think that if you want the United States to change its behavior you don’t refuse to speak to the leader of the United States

  31. She’s not that important

I’m only speaking about her at all since you guys are speaking about her all the time

  32. She’s not that important

Yet you think she should speak to the US president.

I’m only speaking about her at all since you guys are speaking about her all the time

I rarely speak about her, other than to point out how excited you guys get whenever she is mentioned 🙂

  33. More Russian interference…….
