  1. Is unmasking the whistle-blower intentionally illegal?

Yes, it’s illegal. There’s a Whistle-blower Protection Act. If this were a private company, the board would fire the CEO for behaving this way towards a whistle-blower. The whole whistle-blower idea is that they should have protections, anonymity, much less be attacked by the president of the United States.

harassment, also of a whistle blower is illegal.

  2. he doesn’t qualify

  3. Nope

In October 2012, Barack Obama signed Presidential Policy Directive 19,[34] after provisions protecting intelligence-community whistleblowers were stripped from the proposed Whistleblower Protection Enhancement Act. It was designed to ensure that employees who serve in the Intelligence community, or have access to classified information, can effectively report waste, fraud, and abuse, while protecting classified information. The order prohibits retaliation against intelligence community employees who make a protected disclosure through the proper, internal channels and establishes remedies for substantiated, retaliation claims.

  4. another one bites the dust

NSC official who attended key Ukraine meetings to leave post on Friday

Earl Matthews attended meetings with Ukrainian officials now at the center of the congressional impeachment inquiry.

Perhaps he expects to be called as a witness and he wants to get out of the White House before he testifies and things get awkward. Or maybe he just sees the writing on the wall and now expects the Trump regime to collapse entirely under the weight of impeachment.

  5. So the witholding of aid to Ukraine just prior to Trump asking the Ukrainian government to investigate a domestic political rival didn’t happen then?

  6. “Understand?”

    Yes I do.

The Republicans want to make this about personal attacks on people rather than looking at evidence.

  7. On every issue, Trump attacks the person, not the issue.

All his followers do the same.

  8. A court has just ordered Donald Trump, – just imagine: the President of the United States – to pay $ 2m for misappropriating funds from his foundation to fund his last presidential election campaign. The money should apparently have gone to army veterans, but was takenby Trump to feed his rallies and his ego..

This phoney foundation was described as being “little more than a chequebook” for Mr Trump’s interests.

Trump heads what must be the most farsical presidency in the world at the moment, probably outdone only by North Korea, although that leader is at least miles ahead of Trump in terms of intelligence and political acumen.

The people who still support this lunatic should be remembered for all time.

  9. Yes.

His flock bellyached about the Clinton Foundation, which is an actual charity that appears to be well run.

But Trump set up his own charity, stole from it, and his followers never complain about that!

This is true ” cult ” behavior.

  10. He really is the epitome of slime & sleaze.

The money should apparently have gone to army veterans, but was taken by Trump to feed his rallies and his ego

I’m sure the ultra patriotic Mom’s apple pie guys will condemn him in the strongest terms for that one.

  11. lol…..

No response over a faint lol Pat? You’re uncharacteristically quiet on the President’s embezzling, particularly as it was supposedly meant to go to vets?

  13. This is the culture war in action. The whistle blower’s evidence should be 100% ignored because he has some light political baggage, which means he must be telling lies, he must have an agenda, there is no need to try to establish if his evidence is credible, just dismiss it 100% and retreat to your GOP comfort zone like Patrick has done.

Just like the military veteran’s evidence last week was dismissed by Trumpist bigot Laura Ingraham on Fox, because he happened to be born in Ukraine, so he must be a traitor, there is no need to examine what he says, just dismiss it all as anti-Trump lies. This is exactly how Goebbels would have responded, these people know their history.

  14. Trump placing whistleblower in ‘physical danger’, lawyer says

A lawyer for a whistleblower who triggered the impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump has sent a cease and desist letter to the White House.

In the letter, Andrew Bakaj writes that Mr Trump’s “rhetoric and activity” place his client and family “in physical danger”.

As intended, that’s the whole idea, and it discourages others from stepping forward.

  16. yo guys I’ve got this great bridge for sale…… it’s in Brooklyn.

The guy is not a WB he’s a political activist that works for the CIA. He wasn’t on the call and there is nothing illegal in the call, but you must have your fantasy.

    Keep the comedy coming.
