“WAS CLOSELY MONITORED”

By Pete Moore On November 30th, 2019

Yet again, left-liberal dreams and the state’s lethal incompetence end in tragedy.

The London Bridge Islamic terrorist murdered two innocents yesterday. He was previously jailed for plotting mass murder at the London Stock Exchange. Then he was automatically released after just seven years after Sir Brian Leveson reduced his sentence. He was still on licence on Friday, with an ankle tag, so he could be monitored. So he was monitored murdering people at a “prisoner rehabilitation conference”.

You cannot make it up. You simply cannot make up the lethal ignorance of those who govern this country.

Richard Reid, the so-called shoe bomber, attempted mass murder too. An American court sentenced him to 110 years in prison without parole. He will only leave prison when he’s dead. That’s how you treat those who attempt the mass murder of random innocents. The intent alone is justification.

But of course nothing will change. Hundreds of people have been murdered by previously convicted and released murderers, and hundreds more innocents will likewise be murdered. So despite the anger now, nothing will be done about terrorists who will not ever change. The brainwashing does not reverse, a terrorist never loses the justification in his mind. But they will still be allowed out, to kill again.

  1. This is how people feel every time there is a gun massacre in USA
in UK the courts have to find the right balance re: terrorism
I think you’re pessimistic, this CANNOT happen again
so immediately all licenses up for review must be the way forward

  2. Yet again, left-liberal dreams

Eh? Is there nothing those loony left-liberal luvvies will stoop to?

  3. Richard Reid actually planned to do those things. He wasn’t in the room when other people planned to do them.

  4. // He wasn’t in the room when other people planned to do them.//

But back when this wretch was first arrested, cops found plans to bomb targets like Boris Johnson (then London mayor), the US embassy and other places. It wasn’t just that he overheard others making plans; he was part of the conspiracy.

Just now, the Assistant Comissioner of the Met, a Neil Basu, has stated that the killer was “fully complying” with all conditions under his get-out-of-jail license agreement, as if to suggest that the attack couldn’t have been prevented.

It’s also unusual how quick they were (already yesterday) to say nobody else was involved. I presume Basu simply misspoke when he said just now that “At this point in time, there is no intelligence to suggest anyone else was involved, and at this stage we are considering he was the attacker in this case.” (??), but his error does suggest undue haste, even if only to deflect any blame on the police.

  5. I’m not saying he was some wee innocent angel. But pointing out the comparison to Richard Reid, and his sentence, is silly. Because Reid did all this stuff. There were four people who were largely convicted for trying to bomb the London Stock Exchange, and the other attacks you pointed out. There were then a group of five other people who were tried for lesser offences i.e. involved but not directly involved in the conspiracies. Khan was part of that second group.

  6. left-liberal dreams and the state’s lethal incompetence end in tragedy.

No Pete, it was a Tory law that got the perp out last year. The Labour law would have kept him in prison. Of course the Tories are lying about this today. Liar Patel is a disgrace but like her lying boss Johnson she is a serial liar with loads of lying form.

  7. Pete’s post and his views on this would have my full support if he hadn’t felt the opportunistic need to tag the stupid ‘left-liberal’ blame tag to it. Judicial/governmental responsibility for these policy decisions go way beyond such partisan political identity labels.

    The Tories are left-liberal.

My postal voting statement came through the post this morning. Our great democracy (you know, that thing that condemned Jesus to death while freeing the convicted murderer, Barabbas… “Yay, democracy!”) has offered me a smorgasbord of choices on my ballot paper, all of which amount to varying degrees of open border, globo-homo, neoliberalism and cultural Bolshevism.

    Spot on

    Peter

What is the exact Tory law

  10. The Tories have been in power since 2010. They own the economy and the damage done by austerity and many other things, but their 59 page manifesto says nothing about austerity and has precisely one page on the climate emergency, Labour has 16. So go figure who’s serious about dealing with this massive issue. Liar Johnson was going to lie down in front of the bulldozers to stop the Heathrow third runway, but now he has given it the go-ahead, same with the vast waste and destruction of HS2 and Hinckley nuclear power station, which will produce the most expensive electricity in the history of the planet if it ever gets built.

Same old Tories, always on the side of the crony-capitalists, always lying, always cheating.

Once again, Pete Moore ruins a post that makes some genuinely good points, with a ridiculous statement that makes him look like a f**king child.

  12. Phantom

The Tories replaced the Labour law of indefinite detention with one that gave a presumption of release on parole after 50% of sentence served. Patel lied about this today, but she always lies because she’s a compulsive liar, a bit like your guy in the White House, or our guy in Downing Street.

  13. 1/2 way thru – i like it in the way mob/union/irish/italian/history/crime/period costumes go togther with stellar cast/director. Its classy story telling, based on real events.

so if petem was from Chicago colm he might say this to your 11:02

“Hey listen up wise guy, yeah you and all the retards on the left; there’s an election going on dummies – so i’m looking for dirt ok, any kinda dirt, don’t matter what the story is i can make the commies look bad you understand. This is what I do , and this is how this thing works, but you wouldn’t appreciate that, cos you got your head so far up jeremy corbyn’s ass you don’t know where you end and he begins. And if you were smart you’d be looking for doit on my man Boris, but you got yer heads so far us Jeremby Corbyn’s ……….. you hearing me” 😉

    Part 2

  14. Pete is correct, although the soft sentencing and self-defeating early release is pervasive in the parties and not merely liberal. How many more of these loons are roaming the country?

  15. I’ve got a blog here ready to go and it doesn’t seem like Pat’s around.

    Any offers to host?

  16. Mahons,

Pete is correct, although the soft sentencing and self-defeating early release is pervasive in the parties and not merely liberal. How many more of these loons are roaming the country?

Well, according to this article in the daily mail, six of this guys accomplices have also been released from prison.

  17. It snowed last night…
    8:00 am: I made a snowman.

8:10 – A feminist passed by and asked me why I didn’t make a snow woman.

    8:15 – So, I made a snow woman.

8:17 – My feminist neighbor complained about the snow woman’s voluptuous chest saying it objectified snow women everywhere.

8:20 – The gay couple living nearby threw a hissy fit and moaned it could have been two snow men instead.

8:22 – The transgender man..women…person asked why I didn’t just make one snow person with detachable parts.

8:25 – The vegans at the end of the lane complained about the carrot nose, as veggies are food and not to decorate snow figures with.

8:28 – I was being called a racist because the snow couple is white.

8:31 – The middle eastern gent across the road demanded the snow woman be covered up .

8:40 – The Police arrived saying someone had been offended.

8:42 – The feminist neighbor complained again that the broomstick of the snow woman needed to be removed because it depicted women in a domestic role.

8:43 – The council equality officer arrived and threatened me with eviction.

8:45 – TV news crew from BBC showed up. I was asked if I know the difference between snowmen and snow-women? I replied “Snowballs” and am now called a sexist.

9:00 – I was on the News as a suspected terrorist, racist, homophobe sensibility offender, bent on stirring up trouble during difficult weather.

9:10 – I was asked if I have any accomplices. My children were taken by social services.

9:29 – Far left protesters offended by everything marched down the street demanding for me to be arrested.

    By noon it all melted

    Moral:

There is no moral to this story. It is what we have become, all because of snowflakes.

  18. Allan

Are you feeling alright ? In the above you reference every type of ‘degenerate’ group in society except your favourites, the you-know-whose. So unlike you 🙂

  19. It is what we have become, all because of snowflakes

    Spectaculat MOPEfest.

It seems the biggest snowflake of all is whoever dreamt that ridiculous whinge up.

  20. Colm, on December 1st, 2019 at 4:05 PM Said:

    Allan

    Are you feeling alright ?

Ah – you noticed the omission, but it was an email doing the rounds which wasn’t written by me. It’s the you-know-whos who empowered all these degerates, be they feminists, gays, trannies, lefties, vegans

  21. ‘degenerates’

Dear me – that’s definitely a word which I should not have to spell-check

  22. I am sorry to hear Allan wasn’t actually building snowmen. I thought it touching to think of him trying to create more white people from snow.

  23. Short sentences and early release from incarceration are philosophically left-liberal. The idea of just punishment for wicked acts has been entirely replaced by an emphasis on rehabilitation and release as soon as possible.

The Tories are a left-liberal party. This is why nothing will change.

    Peter –

You are wrong and Priti Patel is correct. Labour’s Criminal Justice and Immigration Act (2008) removed the requirement for Parole Board approval before release. Usman Khan was sentenced under this law. His release was therefore automatic.

This does not get the Tories off the hook for being wet left-liberals on crime and, therefore, making the British people less safe.

  24. How many more of these loons are roaming the country?

Three of this terrorists co-conspiracists have been released. 54 convicted muslim terrorists have been released from prison.

MI5 estimates that 23,000 potential terrorists are out there. They say that hundreds are hardcore, most in a secondary category. The Manchester Arena terrorists and this one were both in the secondary category.

  25. Short sentences and early release from incarceration are philosophically left-liberal

Yep, we all know how reliable the PM Gospel of political philosophy is too.

  26. MI5 estimates that 23,000 potential terrorists are out there.

There’s a job-creation scheme for ‘secret agents’. I reckon that it’s garbage and that most of the ‘muslim terror’ incidents were run by MI5, with 7/7 being the most deadly and blatant:

But there 2,300,000 potential rapists out there or rather, out here. That’s more what pakis do
