A GREAT HONOUR FOR THE GREATEST LIVING ENGLISHMAN
By Pete Moore On December 3rd, 2019Sir Roger Scruton received the Commander’s Cross with the Star of the Order of Merit of Hungary by HE Viktor Orbán, PM of Hungary today in recognition of his hard work advancing British-Hungarian relations and his support for the regime change of 1989 in Hungary. pic.twitter.com/ybPlswtk2b

So good to see, even though the great man is wracked with illness. Sir Roger Scruton was honoured today for his help in fighting communism. There’s no greater call than that. He said that friendship is rooted in a recognition of difference, and he congratulated the Hungarian people on remaining passionately Hungarian.
I didn’t realise that Scruton was so ill. He deserves to be honoured, but Orban is a corruptocrat and a racist.
