WHY THE SURPRISE?

By Pete Moore On December 9th, 2019

As someone in these here parts keeps on saying, the left wing of British politics is genuinely insane.

Jo Swinson believes that being in the EU is good, and that puny little humans are causing the mighty Earth to heat up. Against that, denying the plainest biological facts is just as loony.

  1. You can listen to what she actually said here

  2. To be fair unto fair little Jo, she probably doesn’t believe or disbelieve in anything at all. Almost anyone in politics who spouts these predictable views is merely reading from an autocue scripted by others.

So let me get this straight Pete, you’re criticizing Jo for denying science, whilst denying proven science yourself. I’ll say one thing, you’re entertaining.

  4. Jo Swinson believes that being in the EU is good . . .

And her husband very much agrees with her 😉

  5. But the best laugh was last night when Nigel Farage told a BBC panel and live audience that he was going to spoil his vote on Thursday.

He was challenged: the man who stood down half his party’s candidates to give the Tories a free run is now refusing to vote for the Tory candidate running in his constituency?

Yes, he replied, “Boris” cannot be trusted to deliver. His deal is not Brexit.

Yeah right. The reason to stand down party candidates, (who paid £100 each to be selected), of course had nothing to do with the BXP, as of last month, polling in single figures.
