  1. That’s no way for one group of cops to talk to another 😉

  2. Cops are mocked and jeered on the street and it’s somehow the Democrats fault?

I suspect that ‘Lawyers For Laws’ is just another Twitter political propaganda group. I’d like to see all of the video before this too.

  3. Ghetto rats who never had a father figure in their lives disrespecting authority.

And they then wonder why no one wants to hire them or have anything to do with them, why they have no money or job.

There are such people in Belfast, and London and Philadelphia too. Who are not “ deprived “ but who are “ self deprived “

  4. Perhaps Phantom but I said I’d like to see the video preceeding this as I’ve seen and heard much worse said and done to the British Army & RUC, albeit after serious provocation.

Granted that the circumstances are very different and I’m not disputing your point above but a single video clip rarely tells the full story about a situation.

  5. Correct

But what we do see in this video in my opinion shows astonishing restraint on the part of the police officers.

  6. Where I grew up, if say a teenager disrespected the police in any such fashion under any circumstances whatsoever, they would have much more to fear from their parents and other relatives and neighbors then they would ever have to fear from any police officer.

  7. Paul….. there is no point to the post really except as a distraction it’s not a shot at Dems, or NY it’s just a street conversation with the (Ghetto rats) of any major inner city and the Cops.

  8. Yes, the rats who wonder why Apple doesn’t put an Ipad factory in their community.

So that they can get hired for %100,000 a year, fail the drug test, show up when they feel like, and disrespect the boss when they are there.

  9. Why is Mark Whalberg disrespecting the police?

Well, that’s what I hear anyway.

  10. What a bunch of wannabe gangster retards shouting abuse at the officers.

Do you think they will ever learn how to actually speak English?

  11. you’re being racist Harri, that’s called Ebonics……

  12. Do you think they will ever learn how to actually speak English?

    Damn straight dude!

  13. If you are a cop, there is always, always some skell trying to provoke you.

Try dealing with that every day.

  14. What does the average NYPD uniform earn and do they tend to live in the communities they police?

  15. https://www1.nyc.gov/site/nypd/careers/police-officers/po-benefits.page

They make IMO good money especially when you consider the overtime and good benefits and very early retirement

Residency: You must also be a United States citizen, have a valid New York driver license and live in one of the city’s five boroughs or Nassau, Suffolk, Rockland, Westchester, Putnam or Orange counties within 30 days of being hired.

  16. I don’t quite understand these NY cops just walking away?

I’m pretty sure in the U.K. they would have been arrested for breach of the peace.

  17. And maybe Paul can confirm this..

The Spanish gendarmerie.would have batoned them to within an inch of their pointless life’s.

I will hazard a guess here and I strongly assume these wannabe gangsters are of absolutely no use to society in any way, shape or form.

  18. I think these cops probably took the decision not to waste their time Ealing with idiots just spouting verbal abuse. I think cops in this crisis I have more important things to be concerned about.

  19. When Giuliani was mayor, this type of thing was not tolerated.

Over the past few years, worse has been tolerated.

  20. //these cops probably took the decision not to waste their time Ealing with idiots just spouting verbal abuse. //

Those guys are probably now sharing this with their mates and celebrating their daring.
Meanwhile the world can see that you can give a cop the vilest racist abuse and nothing happens.

  21. I always thought American cops were far less likely to tolerate this behaviour than British ones. Over here TV channels are full of police reality programmes showing cops patently tolerating Loads of abuse and stupid behaviour from drunken yobs and revellers.

  22. //Over here TV channels are full of police reality programmes showing cops patently tolerating Loads of abuse//

But I’d say the police have a say in what footage can be shown and what not. They obviously aren’t going to show them beating the crap out of a few yobs.
Here is was the yobs doing the filming.

  23. New York’s Finest have had to put up with a lot since DeBlasio has been mayor. The throwing water on policemen, the verbal abuse etc, as Phantom has said, wasn’t tolerated under previous administrations.

It’s too bad, b/c NYC is such a great place.

I have watched a fair few of them..

And they don’t walk away, they give some of the drunken ones a chance to shut up and walk away.

    If they don’t conform..

It’s off for a night in the cells, and then usually a fine.

  25. Not even a fine sometimes Harri. . I watched one where a drunken woman being out into a police car used both feet to kick a policewoman in the stomach almost sending her through a shop plate glass window. She was kept in the cells overnight and then released with an informal warning. Not even charged with assault even though it was all on camera. Unbelievable.

  26. Harri, if that had been the vicious bastards of the Spanish Policia Nacionál or, particularly the Guardia Civil it would never have gotten so far. The first wrong word and they would have been arrested. If by some miracle it had gotten to the stage of verbal abuse in the video the abusers would now find themselves surrounded, gently getting their heads batoned off their shoulders.

Spanish cops don’t mess around. That’s the legacy of a real 35 year fascist police state.

  27. When I was making a port call to the town of Rota Spain In the Navy, that was one of the first things the US Navy guys said before we disembarked. That the Guardia Civil were complete bastards, end of.

I guess that they have not changed much

  28. Good advice Phantom. They really are vicious fucking bastards.

I’ve often seen people here criticising the police for a softly softly approach. Be careful what you wish for wanting is different from having and the reality is often very different from the imagined.

  29. Yes, I was once taken in for questioning by the Guardia Civil in Burgos merely on suspicion, and I can confirm that they are arrogant and aggressive bastards.

The worst part was that they were youngish, stout and smaller than me, and I really felt like giving a few of them a clip on the ear for insolence…..

  30. The toleration of abuse is directly the fault of the Mayor, the DA, and City Council of NYC, Philly, and Baltimore.

All 3 cities have adopted anti-cop pro-animal policies that allow criminals to be criminals and prosecute the cops if they arrest them.

The Pay is fair, the benefits are great, most cities require you to live in the city.
