I think you are assuming most of us aren’t familiar with the speech. It is one of the most famous of the twentieth century and I would guess most if not all regulars on ATW have heard it more than once.

Not that it isn’t worth hearing again of course. 😀

  4. you link to a statement by Nancy Pelosi ? sad Kurt

  5. I know I’ve posted it more than once…..

Whether you’ve heard it or not it is a great picture of the times and of King.

Most know the highlights of it, but the whole thing is well worth re-hearing.

  6. i’ll get to it
    but youg that wrong buddy
the sadness is in the fact that another servant of USA the inspector general has been fucked into the yard, like the navy captain a few days ago, at the behest of this corrupt 3rd world dictatorship you’re so pround off . Its 3rd world tin pot dictators that do this, we don’t behave like this this in 3rd world countries, remember that if nothing else, as i’m sure you will !

  7. Kurt

I think you meant 1st world countries in the last part if your comment 😉

  8. This IG was part of the FAKE Whistleblower Scam set into motion by Schiff. If he was doing his job it would have been stopped in it’s tracks instead he was part of it and pushed it forward.

The inspector generals office is supposed to verify the ethics and legality of government workers he did just the opposite. He’s lucky he isn’t being prosecuted.

  9. This Captain is an American hero. Shame on the U.S. goverment. SHAME

  11. The inspector generals office is supposed to verify the ethics and legality of government workers

LOL, why not start with Trump then?

  12. Trumps been investigated for 4 years by 100s of federal Lawyers trying to find a single thing to prosecute him for Peter and they haven’t found shit….

He’s the cleanest businessman and politician on the planet. No matter if he’s insane, arrogant, and obnoxious. He’s whistle clean.

and I find it hysterically funny how that just destroys so many of you…. lmao

  13. Right Paddy, they can’t find jack shit! So the left just makes B.S. up.

My favorite. He should be tried for crimes against humanity for the USA’s carbon footprint!

  14. Trumps been investigated for 4 years

If he’s so squeaky clean why is he going to the Supreme Court to keep his tax returns secret? What could he possibly have to hide from the voters?

  15. “He’s the cleanest businessman and politician on the planet”

hah, like a king-pin they rarely get caught, the underlings go to prison
like michael cohen and the 9 or 10 other top people rotting in jail
He is the dirtiest sob you can find, you have to lie for him or you’re out
mean , nasty, vindictive , jealous, cowardly , abusive
its all there in black and white the way he grovels to putin and North Korea
and slags off our allies , the examples are endless ..
    you’re deceived terribly pat..

  16. If he’s so squeaky clean why is he going to the Supreme Court to keep his tax returns secret?

    Amendment IV
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

  17. He promised many times to disclose them, as other presidential candidates have done.

Your boy has things to hide.

  18. that 100 prosecutors couldn’t find with 4yrs of digging…. sorry nobody’s that good.

You can’t look at someones papers unless you can specify what you are looking for, please learn the importance of the rights of every AMERICAN citizen under the Constitution of The United States of America.

Just because the man is President he doesn’t loose those rights.

Trump has broken his committment to release his tax returns
By BENJAMIN ORESKES 10/04/2016 09:40 PM EDT
“Donald Trump started this campaign in 2014 and he said, if I run for president, I will absolutely release my taxes.” — Kaine

    “And he will.” — Pence

“He’s broken his first promise.” — Kaine

“He hasn’t broken his promise.” —Pence

In 2014, Donald Trump sat down with an Irish TV channel and told them that if he ran for President, he would “absolutely” release his tax returns, according to progressive news outlet ThinkProgress. “I would love to do that,” he said. So while he may not have “promised” to release them, he stated very clearly that he would release his returns if he ran.

  20. lol pat you sound like the team al capone surrounded himself with
always out to bat for the con-man .. wonder what your reward will be in heaven ?
    ever think of that ?

  21. I repeat the question Patrick: If he’s so squeaky clean why is he going to the Supreme Court to keep his tax returns secret? What could he possibly have to hide from the voters?

Maybe you can at least admit that this is not a good look for your guy in an election year? Nah, thought not. Banana Republic rules apply, nothing to see here, please move along.

  22. He’s the cleanest businessman and politician on the planet

He’s not. No more than two days ago it was definitively demonstrated to you that the stole embezzled monies from a charitable foundation for self gain.

Why do you continuously attempt to proagate an honest Donald narrative when it’s clearly untrue?

  23. Why do you continuously attempt to proagate an honest Donald narrative when it’s clearly untrue?

Because Patrick is a Fox-Limbaa GOP footsoldier, always loyal to the leader, until the leader loses and the day for treachery arrives. Watch how quickly they will rat on Trump if he loses in November.

  24. No it’s because after a 4 year legal anal examine by federal prosecutors not finding a single thing he could be charged with is the greatest factual definition of an honest man.

You just can’t accept that, and it belittles you.

  25. Embezzling money from a charitable foundation is not only dishonest but it’s pretty low too and attempting to defend that dishonesty is a dishonest position in itself.

  26. what were the CRIMINAL charges brought against him.

    Provide Links.

  27. The issue is dishonesty not criminality.

Is stealing embezzeling money from a charity dishonest?

  28. no it’s charges. Your belief of his lack of honesty is just that your belief. A belief shared by the Democrats a belief pursued for four years by Federal Prosecutors with unlimited resources and with all that belief they found NOTHING.

So if after 4 years of not finding a single illegal thing he can be charged with one thing and one thing only has been proven.

That if if Christ himself came down off the cross and said this is an honest man YOU and most here still wouldn’t believe it.

and that speaks volumes about you, not him.

  29. Honest Donald admitted personally misusing charitable monies for his own gain. Not only is that dishonest but embezzling monies from a charitable foundation must rank as the lowest one can stoop to.

Shamelessly defending that dishonesty is a dishonest position in itself.

  30. That’s what he said to appease a Civil Suit, it means nothing in our society.

Sorry Paul you can dance your deluded dance and shout from the highest rooftops all you want but without any evidence to back it up it’s just your opinion.

I was more than willing to hand out the pitchforks and torches, if they found evidence of a crime, but they found nothing. I would accept the evidence of a crime, You can’t accept that they could find no evidence.

Like I said, you need to look at that.

  31. Federal and state prosecutors have plenty on Trump. They are waiting for him to lose the election in November then they will pounce.

  32. ahhhh yeah they’re waiting…..

  33. How are you feeling NYr you and your family ok ?

  34. Pat knows a sitting president can’t be charged with a crime whilst in office so is actually a dishonest defence of Trunk to say they found nothing on him they have plenty oh and he was impeached .

  35. Patrick claims Trump is an honest man because no criminal charges have been laid against him. Surely to be consistent he must also reach the same conclusion about Obama and the Clintons .

  36. He said it as part of a settlement legally constituted by an NY Judge:

The settlement, which was finalized last month and announced on Thursday in the judge’s order, included a detailed admission of misconduct that is rare for the president, who has long employed a scorched-earth approach toward fighting lawsuits.

Among Mr. Trump’s admissions in court papers: The charity gave his campaign complete control over disbursing the $2.8 million that the foundation had raised at a fund-raiser for veterans in Iowa in January 2016, only days before the state’s presidential nominating caucuses. The fund-raiser, he acknowledged, was in fact a campaign event.

The president also admitted to using the foundation to settle the legal obligations of companies he owned, including Mar-a-Lago, his private club in Florida, and the Trump National Golf Club in Westchester County, N.Y. And he acknowledged that the foundation purchased the $10,000 portrait of Mr. Trump, which was ultimately displayed at one of his Florida hotels.

The evidence for that is the $2 million that he had to repay to the foundation as restitution. I have to say, it takes a special kind of immoral greed for someone who boasts about his wealth to steal swindle monies from a charitable fund for self enrichment.

The fact of the matter is that your guy is a dishonest, avaricious crook and you trying to shamelessly argue against reality and sitting-in-front-of-your-face evidence is a blatantly dishonest position.

“How are you feeling NYr you and your family ok ?” Yes we are all virus free. Thank you for asking. How about you and your family?
