GUN CONTROL IS DEAD

By Pete Moore On June 2nd, 2020

“But why do they need the big scary guns?” they asked. They have their answer now.

“But the police will always be there to protect you” they said. They were wrong then and provably so.

Joe Biden’s voters, LBJ’s grandchildren and the communists have demonstrated why people need firearms for defence. They’ve saved the 2nd Amendment for years to come.

  1. Joe Biden’s voters, LBJ’s grandchildren and the communists have demonstrated why people need firearms for defence

You’d have had a more effective post without this.

The race-based and other rioters have about as much time for Joe Biden and LBJ as you do.

  2. The 2nd Amendment has never been in jeapordy. Neither LBJ or Biden spoke of eliminating it.

  3. nope and never will be in jeopardy either no matter what the rhetoric…..

    I don’t understand the LBJ’s grandchildren comment though…….

  4. I don’t understand the LBJ’s grandchildren comment though…….

Dat be dem blax – and we really do need racial distancing

  5. Urban primitives are LBJ’s grandchildren, the product of his Great Society programs. They’ve been a catastrophe for urban blacks and the US.

  6. There were big race riots in NYC and Philadelphia in 1964, before the Great Society was implemented.

The 1965 Watts riots can hardly be blamed on that new program.

In any event, the cause of riots is rioters.

No one should make excuses for any of this violence.

  7. The 1965 Watts riots can hardly be blamed on that new program.

    I didn’t.

No one should make excuses for any of this violence.

Maybe you can post about all the Dems, broadcasters and celebs making excuses for this violence? A lot of people are making excuses for it. Others are pretending that the President is the worst person in all of this, but that’s an excuse to not talk about all the violence which the left and the communists are inflicting on people across the country.

  8. Leave Phantom alone. He’s had a very good read on this and has kept a level view.

  9. Is Phantom the new Britney ? 😉

  10. Except for my temper on cops being disrespected the American contingent on this site has been very much on the same page about the riots and rioters.

  11. And I have condemned anyone who has made any excuses for any rioting at any time.

The president is just awful on just about anything, but the riots are not his fault. Those who riot are responsible.

But Trump was wrong to repeal the Minneapolis PD consent decree, there is no getting around that.

And the division in the country, which only gets worse every week, he is very culpable for that, because he is incapable of setting the correct tone.

  12. Who Britney Spears….. is he flashing his coochy?

  13. Those last 3 lines of his comment he flashed his TDS…..

  14. OK Pete

How was LBJ and the Great Society responsible for the 2020 race riots and lootings in America?

I know what you will say but let’s hear it from you.

  15. Patrick

It was a jokey reference to a viral you tube video that did the rounds some years ago called LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE
And yes it was about Britney Spears. It was a desperately hilarious tirade by one of her fans !

  16. just gotta light that match don’t ya……

  17. never saw it….. guess I’m on a Beaver Hunt now….

  18. Aren’t we all

  19. 😉

  20. Patrick, you won’t find any beaver on that video, just a very camp little cock 😉

  21. The type of consent decree with the Minneapolis PD that Trump overturned included the below.

The use of force training includes de-escalation tactics, critical thinking to assess situations, use of reasonable, proportional power and respecting the dignity of human life.

A critical component of the training concerns the duty to intervene. That is what the three officers with Derek Chauvin — the former Minneapolis officer charged with killing Floyd with a knee pressed against his neck for more than eight minutes — did not do.

“If one of those officers intervened in that situation, Mr. Floyd would be alive,” Murphy added. “You wouldn’t have the broken the trust you have in Minneapolis that’s spreading out across the country right now.”

The Justice Department has a tool to make police forces better that it does not use

The agreed to training in the consent decree was not bad for cops – it was hugely good for them in the long run. The president and the union boss didn’t want any of it.

  22. The whole package got thrown out for one simple reason. The Feds don’t dictate policy and procedure in local jurisdictions…. which is what Obama and Holder wanted and tried to do in numorous locals.

  23. So de-escalation training, and training that intervention is proper in some cases is not a good idea>

  24. “The president and the union boss didn’t want any of it.” The police union in Minneapolis is a problem. The union can virtually hold the city hostage to get their way. Possibly a problem in other cities as well.
