Fake News, Fake Crime

By Patrick Van Roy On June 24th, 2020

The FBI has determined that NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace was not the victim of a hate crime and that a pull rope fashioned like a noose had been on a garage door at Talladega Superspeedway since as early as October, NASCAR said Tuesday.

“The FBI report concludes, and photographic evidence confirms, that the garage door pull rope fashioned like a noose had been positioned there since as early as last fall,” NASCAR said in its statement. “This was obviously well before the 43 team’s arrival and garage assignment.

  1. Of everything going on in this country, the manpower of the FBI is deployed to investigate a door pull rope loop that someone said looked like a noose! What a crock of shit.

  2. Charles.

    It’s really not a mystery.

In Europe, it’s called ‘Common Purpose’

    In the States.

    It’s called ‘Common Core’

You have been invaded, and you don’t even know it.

  3. There have been a number of fake incidents.

This one appears to be a misunderstanding.

Wallace owes the public an apology, but won’t give one. Vast rush to judgment by both him and the other, well meaning drivers.

  4. Does he owe them an apology? Was it an unreasonable conclusion to draw?

  5. How is it Fake news ? The media reported the claim and then reported the conclusion of the investigation. The claim may have been untrue but reporting it is real news.

  6. How is it Fake news ?

It’s fake news because the “Journalists” did not do their due diligence to check the validity of the claim.

  7. Patrick

Yes they did. Its called reporting the allegation and reporting the conclusion.

  8. The FBI was investigating the validity of the claim. The journalists reported on the investigation and it’s outcome.

  9. When you go looking for offence you’ll find it. The media is guilty of amplifying an absurd claim because they wanted it to be true.

Blokes on twitter could see it was a door pull without an FBI investigation.

  10. There was a piece of rope in a garage.

Ergo, the KKK is running wild.

At best this guy rushed screaming to the media before knowing any facts, at worst he is the male Tawana Brawley.

Go Tawana Wallace, you sniveling weakling.

  11. Go Tawana Wallace, you sniveling weakling.

    Phantom.

I truly hope Tawana Wallace is not black?

Or at least not hideously white?

    Kurt will not be happy?

  12. You’re not allowed to be wrong on stuff like this.

The world is bad enough as it is, and this guy decided to make it even worse, before he knew anything.

  13. I take it NYPD cops are sniveling weaklings after the whole poison nonsense?

  14. The NYPD have been explicit targets, but yes, them and their girly man unions too.

Not sure the need to bring that into it, but there you go.

  15. Just asking for consitency sake. You, while not being a fan of the unions jumping the gun, didn’t take as strong a tone with them.

“The NYPD have been explicit targets”

And a black guy who led a campaign to ban the Confederate Flag isn’t?

  16. Something did happen to the cops. They were served food that was contaminated.

Nothing happened to ” Bubba ” here.

Both were cases of overreaction deserving of criticism to all involved.

  17. “Nothing happened to ” Bubba ” here.”

There was a noose like rope in the garage. Like the “poison” it had a benign explanation. But he has as much right to believe it was the genuine article as the cops do.

  18. The Shake Shack incident does not have any benign explanation.

They should have been heavily fined at best.

You don’t get to serve contaminated food or drink to your customers.

  19. This is exactly what is wrong with ‘truth’ today. The right – as we saw here with Patrick’s post will jump on the NYPD incident as true because they want it to be, and similar with the left and the Bubba incident. Most people don’t seek facts, they seek validation (however weak) of their pre-held assumptions.

  20. Wallace says that he never saw the “ noose “ and never reported it.

This entire freakiest was precipitated by the head of NASCAR
