WHEN THEY ASK WHY ANYONE WOULD NEED AN AR-15

By Pete Moore On June 29th, 2020

A private, gated estate in St Louis resembles South Africa as it’s invaded and a couple put in genuine fear for their lives. This isn’t a public highway. It’s private property and it was invaded by the angry, feral mob. CBS lied by omission about that. That’s a case study in media lies.

But the husband had a rifle, one of those “scary assault rifles”. It was scary enough to save their lives and protect the lovely home which they spent years renovating. This is why people need AR-15’s (or even better, shotguns). Urban ferals are becoming more feral. Ultra-left white college kids are becoming even more radicalised and nihilist. They hate you, they hate your country, and they will kill to stop you stopping them. Without that weapon the evil mob would have torn the couple apart, ransacked their home and burned it down.

This man is a hero and a great American, even in those slacks –

I’m only surprised you haven’t expressed disappointment that this great American hero didn’t open fire on the deranged savage bloodthirsty mob 🙂

  2. Without that weapon the evil mob would have torn the couple apart, ransacked their home and burned it down.

    What sensationalist fear-mongering rubbish:

St. Louis couple point guns at peaceful crowd of protesters calling for mayor to resign

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2020/06/29/st-louis-protest-gun-mayor/

A perfect example of the paranoid fear of crime I’ve occasionally spoken about experiencing in the US.

  3. Another case study in media lies. They broke open a gate and invaded private property. They were intimidating and obviously only stayed back because the husband was armed. St Louis has seen a lot of violence and assaults. This would have gone the same way.

    And I bet he’s a registered Democrat.

  4. They were intimidating and obviously only stayed back because the husband was armed.

Yes, ‘obviously’ How many other houses were attacked?

    – sigh.

  5. Anyone who demonstrates in front of a person’s private home is to me a complete criminal, seeking to terrorize the person’s family and neighbors as well as the target.

If they broke into a gated community, that makes the crime ten times worse.

  6. You never point a weapon at someone unless you mean to shoot. That’s gun safety 101. Brandishing a weapon like that, while effective at dispersing a crowd, might even be illegal.

  7. If they broke into a gated community, that makes the crime ten times worse.

But that’s not the issue Pete raises. He’s trying to suggest that if the guy hadn’t come out with an AR15 the group would have ‘ torn the couple apart, ransacked their home and burned it down’

  8. Charles

    Correct

    Paul 719

    Also correct

  9. @EmmaHoggTV

“We were told that we would be killed, our home burned and our dog killed. We were all alone facing an angry mob…” Couple seen pointing guns said protesters threatened their family and destroyed the Portland Place gate @KMOV

Don’t give me some old BS that after many weeks of widespread violence, looting and burning the mob invaded private property … and turned peaceful. BS!

  10. Brandishing a weapon like that, while effective at dispersing a crowd, might even be illegal.

Doubtful Charles. Missouri recognises the ‘castle’ doctrine:

    https://law.justia.com/codes/missouri/2005/t38/5630000041.html

  11. How many other houses were attecked Pete?

    Some old BS is correct.

  12. The demonstrators should have been arrested for breaking and entering.

Even if they didn’t destroy loot or beat people up, they are entirely in the wrong.

  13. Paul, well, that house is certainly a “castle”. Biff and Buff have done well for themselves. I for one, if I feared for my life, would be in the house, not on the lawn. But if those goons crossed the threshold, I would then shoot.

  14. The demonstrators should have been arrested for breaking and entering

I agree but that’s a different issue from the one Pete raises.

  15. I’ve read elsewhere Charles that they are both attorneys and I agree with you, if I had feared for my life I would have taken up a defensive position inside the property. Indeed, one wonders if they didn’t come to the house exterior armed with what looks like a weapon of war and it was there that they allegedly were threatened.

  16. The protesters were trespassing on a private street, not breaking and entering. Apparently the crowd was on their way to the Mayor’s residence a block away. As for the two lawyers they know the magic words to say in case they had to invoke self defense. The country is experiencing asylum times.

  17. They broke / or somehow defeated security at a locked gate

  18. From Pete’s quote above:

They’re lying… Video evidence shows the gate was fine, unlocked and easily opened when the protesters got there… Even single one of them was able to walk in with no problem… That damage to the gate was done after… And who supposedly told them they were in danger?

I’d say that’s a pretty fair assessment above, Mahons although they may not even have been tresspassing. From the same link,

Once again, the street is not private… Any person, any person at all, is allowed to walk down that street… The gate is there to prevent cars from cutting thru to get to Kingshighway… There was no trespassing… Just ppl walking down the street to get to the mayor’s house.

  19. Pete is engaging in the same sort of culture war hype and exaggeration here as we see from both sides of the increasingly fanatical divide in America and he is doing so as a form of satire. He knows full well however arrogant woke and radical this group were, they weren’t about to go on a murderous rape , pillage and arson spree. His last comment about the slacks tells you exactly where his tongue was as he wrote this.. 🙂

  20. I know nothing about this community but in the gated communities that I have been the only people who are allowed to enter are residents and their invited guests.

  21. It is unclear if it was locked. But the gate was to the private road. They didn’t enter or attempt to break and enter into a building. If as Paul writes that there was no prohibition for pedestrians walking on the road it may very well have not even been trespassing.

  22. Pansy. A real man would have had a bazooka and a few grenades.

  23. They sure don’t seem like a bunch of looters and killers on the film.

  24. I don’t know the status of the street in question but am merely reading around what Pete has posted for verification.

We know it’s jokey and TIC in order to provoke and wind up Colm. It’s an extremist favourite:

Mark McCloskey, 63, told a TV station that he and wife, Patricia, both personal injury lawyers, were facing an “angry mob” on their private street and feared for their lives Sunday night.

No charges were brought against them. Police said they were still investigating but labeled it a case of trespassing and assault by intimidation against the couple by protesters […]

Police said the man and woman told the marchers to leave because they were on a private street. But people in the crowd yelled obscenities and threats, police said. The man and woman said they saw people who were armed, so they armed themselves and called police, according to authorities.

Mark McCloskey told KMOV-TV that a mob rushed toward the home as the family was having dinner and “put us in fear of our lives.”

“This is all private property. There are no public sidewalks or public streets. We were told that we would be killed, our home burned and our dog killed. We were all alone facing an angry mob,” McCloskey said.

Monday evening quarterbacks might know better, but a large angry mob turning up on your doorstep is horrifying at any time. At this time, with the mob chanting and pointing at you, the worst should be assumed.

    The man is a hero.

  26. Mark McCloskey, 63, told a TV station that he and wife, Patricia, both personal injury lawyers

No more needs to be said.

  27. There are numerous other houses in the same “gated community”. None of them were attacked despite the absence of gun toting lunatics.

  28. If you listen to the start of the clip, one person can be heard shouting, “We’re not on your property,” and a young black man shouts, “Keep moving! Keep moving!” as the crowd is stewarded down the street.
It’s the most civil attempt to murder, pillage and burn since Siegfried the Nice, king of the Vikings, laid siege to Norwich by sending everyone flowers.

  29. A bigger issue, unaddressed in the wacky tale, is how does a crowd of 500 March without being diverted by police from a private road.

  30. Ken and karen are starring in a movie , opening 4th July

  31. These Democrats are terrorizing People. The Homeowner did the right thing.

Told them to move along and showed them the consequences.

After this video clip aired BLM/Antifa actually put out a bulletin asking for this mans name, the names of his family, the name of who he works for, or what business he owns. to and I quote WE MUST DESTROY THIS MANS LIFE.

These Democrat Terrorists as they push out of the inner city are going to run into more and more people that are armed. They got lucky that this guy came out and made a display of it. There are people that if the mob steps on their property they will shoot.

  32. After this video clip aired BLM/Antifa actually put out a bulletin asking for this mans name, the names of his family, the name of who he works for, or what business he owns. to and I quote WE MUST DESTROY THIS MANS LIFE

Can you link to that bulletin?

  33. its a great effort pat . Dems as Demestic terrorists, maybe trumps base of decent white folks gonna have to go out and do some killing .. is that what you’re stoking up here , or suggesting? or preparing us for ? advance justification is it ?

  34. Had the homeowners shot one of the protesters. Who would they have called about it? After all they would have defended the Police so who is left? Coast Guard?

More proof though. When seconds count the Police are only minutes away. Nice Ar15. He ought to have a M1911 45 Auto as well.

  35. 2nd rule of safe gun ownership

keep your booger hook off the bang switch

  36. At 7.12pm I said that I bet he’s a registered Democrat. My bloodhound nose never lets me down. Jeez my instincts are so sharp it must seem spooky to the rest of you.

    @bennyjohnson

So it turns out the gun-toting couple:

    -Supports BLM
    -Are Democrats
-Are representing a victim of police brutality.

The media is going to have a hard time comprehending this since they spent all of last night and this morning smearing them.

    @RobertDEdwards

JUST IN: St. Louis attorneys Mark and Patricia McCloskey release a statement, through an attorney, saying they support Black Lives Matter and they acted lawfully on their property. The couple, through their attorney, says “the agitators responsible for the trepidation were white”

  37. After this video clip aired BLM/Antifa actually put out a bulletin asking for this mans name, the names of his family, the name of who he works for, or what business he owns. to and I quote WE MUST DESTROY THIS MANS LIFE.

    Any luck verifying this, Inspector?

  38. Pete Moore,
//At 7.12pm I said that I bet he’s a registered Democrat. My bloodhound nose never lets me down. Jeez my instincts are so sharp it must seem spooky to the rest of you.//

I’m not sure about that Pete. However the amount of times you make claims that are proven wrong impresses me.

  39. Patrick.

Can you provide a link to this please Patrick?

  40. He’s had from 10.01 from last night when I asked the same question Dave.

    I doubt it.
