Let’s go down the rabbit hole…..

By Patrick Van Roy On July 25th, 2020

Drift on into the mind and heart of just an average American shithoarder and individualist, let me give you an unvarnished glimpse into the perspective of this majority of 1……

As I sit hidden away in a tin box on the farm my view is vast and unimpeded filtered, categorized, and interpreted through the only lens that matters… mine.

The world is a mess and everyone is hollerin at everyone. Which is actually a sign of growth. If we were following the trend of human history a collapse of the magnitude the whole world just got hit with nations would be shooting at each other by now, so pat ourselves on the back the species may actually be evolving.

As this is a U.K. site and most of it’s footprint is on that side of the pond those who venture here get the treat of reading the view of the otherside of America. The clinging to our Bibles and Guns side. The view that all Americans know is out here, festering, but really don’t want to gaze at it in the hopes that it will go away…. it won’t. So as Hunter S Thompson used to like to mutter “Lets whip together a few raw facts, some ole negro wisdom, and get this story told”

I don’t like making predictions, my record is atrocious to say the least. It’s why I try never to gamble, but I will be making a few predictions today.

In 101 days we gonna have us an Election….. that is the only thing that matters. Every piece of news and event is seen through that lens and that lens only. The Virus, The Riots, Sports, even the damn Weather….. How’s it going to effect the election. And the view that is projected at us and the rest of the world is slanted.

Joe Biden is going to be the Next President, and the Democrats are going to win control of both the House and Senate…. yeah and pigs are gonna fly, but if you listen to the news, read any paper or Poll that is what you will be told.

The Nation was locked down for 5 months, they won’t let us out of our homes without the leash of a paper mask. Yet they are allowing Animals to riot. They are honoring the rioters in every major sport by spitting on our Flag and our Anthem. Politicians are honoring animals painting their allegiance to them in 30ft yellow letters in the streets while corporations kneel and run ads and add symbols to their products  in support of rioting animals.

If you speak out against this you are threatened. You will be attacked verbally, sometimes physically, people are even losing their jobs for saying they support the President….. you really think this is America ?

Nothing could be further from the truth.

There is a term that is way over used “The Silent Majority” the boogeyman to every politician and every member of the MSM. The unwashed uncouth rude and believed to be uneducated everyday people. Those that cling to their bibles and guns. The thing is though that boogeyman is real. It only rears it’s head on occasion, Reagan’s 2nd Term Election, Bush’s 2nd Term Election, and Obama’s first Midterm Election…. the beast rose and stomped it’s foot.

The beast is rising, mark my words. There will be no words, no hollering, no shooting, but there will be a Reckoning.

101 days and the clocks ticking.

You can’t force someone to wear a mask, you can’t force someone get a vaccination, you can’t infringe on one persons rights and give passes to others…..

  1. I don’t like making predictions, my record is atrocious to say the least. It’s why I try never to gamble

Which is why you’re going to be $50 lighter at the end of next month.

  2. The Nation was locked down for 5 months

    ?????????

  3. There is a term that is way over used “The Silent Majority” the boogeyman to every politician and every member of the MSM

Yes, those who voted for the other guy in the POTUS election?

Christ, three comments in a row. He has risen!!

  4. count the months since March…..

  5. ….April, May, June, July…..

  6. No one has ever been locked in their homes around here.

I’ve left the house multiple times every day since March.

The mask rule in NYS came into play after the lockdown, and it only applies when you’re not socially distanced

I’ve been out of doors for hours, without a mask, in compliance with all rules.

    Please pay attention to details.

  7. We went into lockdown on March the 13th which was before Ireland, the UK & the USA.

  8. Correct Phantom.

  9. oh ok skippy so there hasn’t been a lockdown….. Over the past 5 months have you flown out of the country, have you gone INTO work…. you may be able to go into work in a limited fashion now but the past 5 months you’ve just gotten up showered got on the subway and went into the office have ya…..

The depth of your delusion is amazing.

  10. I’m predicting Biden to come up just shy of Reagan landslide in 1980
and that’s only because they’re targeting 14 specific States, not the whole shebang
Its too costly in the modern to run ads and harness volunteer efforts to make inroads in say Wyoming
    https://demcast.com/focus14/
on the night I’ll stay up till Texas falls, and sleep very well the next day .

    Pat here’s one fer fun
what chances do you give Texas falling from Red to Blue
any others offer % chance on Texas speficially ?

  11. On average in the run up to the 1984 US Presidential election Ronald Reagan led Walter Mondale by about 18%. He won by 18%. The polls were dead on the money. On average in the run up to the 2004 US Presidential election George W. Bush led John Kerry by 2%. He won by 2%. On average in the run up to the 2010 US House elections Republicans led Democrats by 9%. They won by 7%.

In the 3 elections you suggested not once did the polling suggest the Democrats were going to do better than they did.

  12. Will say again

Trump has destroyed the careers of Hillary Clinton and Jeb Bush

He will also possibly destroy the Republican Party as a national power.

  13. There is a 90% chance Biden will be the next president. Trump has betrayed and jeopardized the people who voted for him in 2016. The nation will be much better off when Trump is tossed out. Look to a brighter future.

  14. At the end of the day, it will be those incredibly naive voters who put Trump in will have destroyed the Republican Party as a national force.

How could anyone have thought that the likes of him could lead ?

No one should rejoice at the prospect of a Democrat sweep.

There are many seriously bad actors and bad influences in that party, at every level.

You’ll be exchanging an evil for another evil.

  15. I want Texas
    When you kill the snake
You have to cut its head off

  16. I don’t want a weak Republican Party. The adversarial pull and push allows for a better nation.
To me, viewed generously, Biden is a career politician with few positive attributes, a clumsy speaker with no inspiring ideas. But he’s at least on planet earth.

  17. The Republicans had better develop some leaders quickly

Real leaders, not Ted Cruz or Rand Paul types

  18. You’ll be exchanging an evil for another evil.

that is always the case the pendulum swings……..

  19. Real leaders, not Ted Cruz or Rand Paul types

Because to you a NY Independent those two don’t qualify….. ?

Mighty bold of you to speak for a party that you don’t belong to or vote for.

  20. They have zero chance of becoming national unifying figures

Cruz is widely despised even in his own party

You have nobody good on the bench

  21. The last person standing out of the Republican Party at the end of the primaries was Ted Cruz……

  22. You need to grow the party

And he’s the last one to do it

  23. He may not have a chance to win the whole country Phantom, but out of the 100 candidates that were vying for the Presidential Nomination he beat everyone but Trump…..

So maybe, just maybe you don’t have a read on the party as well as you think.

  24. The party as it is can’t grow. Neither can the Democrats.

Both parties lack the full support of everyone with either a D or an R on their registration.

If you’re a white heterosexual there is no place for you with the D’s and if you’re black, gay, or confused the R’s want you, but they don’t want any part of the R’s.

NY State actually has the best voter registration system. Other Parties can actually form and get on the ballot. It needs to be the model for the rest.

  25. Next time pat elect a Christian who is one in thought word and deed. Not a corrupt pervert who days things the GOP want .
It doesn’t work out well in the long run.
Ok you got your justices but with it you have the Shane of the nation upon your shoulders for at least s generation.
The moral is you chose good that good may come .
Your mistake was you chose evil that good may come

  26. better watch it Kurt….. Mahons is playing spelling cop today….

if he could actually spell himself it might not be funny.

  27. its predictive text on mobile , can’t help that
but listen pat here’s you silent majority
to quote your words not mine
“he unwashed uncouth rude and believed to be uneducated everyday people. Those that cling to their bibles and guns.
here’s one of them Nick – so powerful these testimonies – right from the heart
you can’t odds it man as he was one of yours

Nicholas voted for Trump in MN, he now regrets it
    https://youtu.be/2xJmoM8juwk

there are millions like him , young old black white rich poor male female

  28. no Kurt there are not

  29. pat seriously have you listened to ANY of these testimonies from ex-Trumpers
If so, what is your sense ?
pick any one , on the list and lets talk about it

  30. https://rvat.org/#homePageStories

  31. mahons/phantom I wish you’d stop dissing Biden
the bigger picture is anyone-but-Trump , that is the zeitgeist
you can’t be all petty in 2020
Its a given he’s not the perfect candidate etc etc
but he will steady the ship, the dems ambitions really boil down to simple good things:
better healthcare, lower taxes for middle/poor , better public services like education
a fair days pay for a fair days work
good international relations, concern on climate ..
come down to Earth man .. Biden is a good platform to rebuild on
he’s trusted, loved and respected all over , you wanna hear what lindsey graham thinks
bout him .. ” No finer a man has God created ” ..
what’s the matter with you people ?????

  32. There is a new movement Kurt, #walkaway, urging disaffected democrats who are tired of the party of the destruction of America to walk away from the dem party. 85,000 members so far.
If that many dems have actually signed up, 10 times that many feel that way.

  33. “There is a new movement Kurt, #walkaway, urging disaffected democrats who are tired of the party of the destruction of America to walk away from the dem party. 85,000 members so far.”

Any evidence that 85,000 former members of the Democratic Party are involved? Not least given that Alliance for Securing Democracy, a bipartisan transatlantic national security, found that the WalkAway campaign was being pushed heavily by Russian bot teams on twitter. How much of it is a real campaign, by actual former Democrats, and how much of it is Russian misinformation?

  34. Seamus, to prevent such a thing, the founder has prospective members submit a video testimonial that is reviewed by volunteers for authentication. They are presently 45,000 videos behind. How can an organization, btw, be both bipartisan and transatlantic?

  35. charles nobody wants to see the destruction of America, i sense exaggeration here
yes on either extremes i’d agree there isn’t a party they feel they can belong to
This is normal in a democracy, and the danger is if that space is not filled
with proper democratic politics like Obama stood for then the vacuum get filled .
and Houston we got a problem ..

Fox news and friends wants you to believe the whole country is burning , it isn’t
there are localised isolated areas like portand in serious disputations between the forces of law and order meeting head on the power of the people, their demands for change
Trump has no solutions so he can get the fuck outa the way , that’s what’s happening i believe

  36. It’s interesting that no one questions that there are some disaffected Trump supporters. With what is going on in Democrat run cities, why is it outlandish to think that there might be disaffected Dem voters, and if there are Russians must be faking it, FFS!

  37. The violent actors in Portland do not represent “ the people “

They are the subject of criticism by black leaders there too

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2020/07/23/portlands-protests-were-supposed-be-about-black-lives-now-theyre-white-spectacle/

  38. dunno Charles i guess so
but we do have the voices of the disaffected Trumpers
    https://rvat.org/#homePageStories
listened to any at all ? worried what you might hear ?

  39. lol the walk away movement is the stake that’s trying to be driven into it’s heart…. it scares them to death not because it’s ex-democrats or disaffected democrats… it’s led by a Black Woman and is targeted at the the Black community foremost.

Even if they don’t vote Republican if they withdraw their vote from the Democrats it damages them more than you can see.

  40. “How can an organization, btw, be both bipartisan and transatlantic?”

It has a presence in both America and Europe (it is set up specifically to counter Russia), and its presence in the United States is bipartisan.

” They are presently 45,000 videos behind.”

And they have been verified to all be former Democrats and/or Democratic voters?

  41. Kurt you honestly believe that Trump has lost voters ?

You are a testament to the power of democrat propaganda presented as news by the msm. Trump hasn’t lost voters he’s gained them. Delivered into his hands by rioting Democrats.

  42. phantom, lots of truth in that, disaffected alienated people hitching their wagon to any cause
coat-tailing, maybe they’re a rump you can never please.
But a wise leader would want to know what they want ! at the very least .
i don’t blame them if i was young and grew up in Trumps America I’d be doing my fucking Nut in

  43. The Portland rioters would burn down the US Capitol if you gave them half a chance. They have been festering there since before Trump took office, aided by that nut case mayor.

  44. Kurt

Violent protesters shined lasers directly into the eyes of federal officers, very possibly blinding three of them for life

    https://nypost.com/2020/07/24/3-fed-agents-likely-blinded-by-lasers-pointed-at-them-in-portland-wh/

    What,do you think about that

  45. Seamus “all”? I don’t have that information. I think I could reliably guess “most”.

  46. “Trump hasn’t lost voters he’s gained them. Delivered into his hands by rioting Democrats.”

In 2016 Donald Trump got 46% of the vote. He is currently polling at 42% (with 8%) undecided. It is simply not true to suggest that he hasn’t lost voters (likely he has lost voters, gained voters and the Democrats have lost voters and gained voters). He is currently losing more than he is gaining.

  47. “Seamus “all”? I don’t have that information. I think I could reliably guess “most”.”

What size of an operation is this (and who are their funders) if they can independently verify 45,000 videos?

  48. What they want….. I love it. What they is irrelevant.

This isn’t europe and inspite of the kowtowing you’re seeing by major league sports, corporations and celebrities the american public on all sides of the aisle don’t take kindly to a list of demands delivered by riots.

The last 60 days has done immense damage to democrat support among democrats not just “independents” except for the fringe, and in contrast to our yearly civilian deathcount the American public does not accept this kind of violence and destruction.

Peoples nerves are frayed from the virus and you add this crap on top…. no kurt you really have no clue.

  49. surprise as it may be to you phantom i don’t support any violence on any side
Trumps gassing and his goons cracking open the skull of the 75 yr old we all saw on our tellies is just as back as people lasering cops or burning court houses

I stand with Blair politics ( pre-iraq ) and obama politics
Great Men in their day who used the energy of disaffection to alter as much as they could
given the opposition ( certainly against Obama – less so against Blair )

    that’s my position

  50. “The last 60 days has done immense damage to democrat support among democrats not just “independents” except for the fringe, and in contrast to our yearly civilian deathcount the American public does not accept this kind of violence and destruction.”

On the 25th May (when George Floyd was murdered) Donald Trump was 6% behind Joe Biden (on average). On average he is now 8% behind. Average support for the Democrats in the generic ballot has (on average) gone from 48% on the 25th May to 49.5% now.

So no it hasn’t done immense damage.

  51. So you breezily equate the shoving of that man with the intentional blinding of three men

I think that,we know where you are coming from

  52. Seamus stop beating on Charles…..

The “movement” was started by Candace Owens. If they say they are receiving videos and are asking for videos I guarantee not only do they exist they are filed, collated, verified, and put in contact lists.

A hostile black female conservative and her lily white conservative partner charlie kirk are despised by the left and not trusted by the right. If they say they are auditing video democrat party resignations you can bet your last dollar that’s what they are doing.

  53. Seamus the polls showed Clinton ahead by 30pts the day before the election and showed Trump losing every primary, the nomination and especially the presidency….

People are getting fired from their jobs for saying they support Trump, but you think you’re going to get an honest poll…… lmao

  54. “Seamus stop beating on Charles…..”

I’m not beating on Charles. I’m disagreeing with him.

“The “movement” was started by Candace Owens.

Well it wasn’t. You are confusing it with the “Blexit” movement. The organisation Charles is talking about was started by some white fella in New York.

  55. “Seamus the polls showed Clinton ahead by 30pts the day before the election and showed Trump losing every primary, the nomination and especially the presidency….”

Show me one poll, just one poll, that had Clinton up by 30 points. You can’t just make shit up because you are losing an argument.

  56. nah its you phantom taking your cues from the WH
like i said when push comes to shove you’re a Trumnper
“likely left permanently blinded” from clashes, White House officials said Friday.”
    that means they’re not !
you missed Obama X2 and now you’re gonna miss Biden
shame is all on you pal !

  57. and owens and kirk picked the movement up here in the US it is now tied into their corporation. They’re names are on it…..

You can’t just make shit up because you are losing an argument.

I’m not losing anything especially an argument…. lol. If you accuse me of stretching the numbers present them and prove me wrong….

Seamus a poll does not report anything, it tells you nothing, they are a tool to create views not report them. You’ve fallen for one of the oldest campaign tactics that exist.

These polls are meant to project the view they were written to project. Nothing more.

  58. https://www.ceenta.com/news-blog/can-a-laser-pointer-blind-you

  59. https://www.policeone.com/federal-law-enforcement/articles/dhs-us-agents-sustain-eye-injuries-from-lasers-at-protest-may-be-blinded-vF8xB47hVvvFovc5/

    Your buddies

  60. “I’m not losing anything especially an argument…. lol. If you accuse me of stretching the numbers present them and prove me wrong….”

There is not a single poll that had Hillary Clinton up by 30 points.

    https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/us/general_election_trump_vs_clinton-5491.html

RCP had her up by 3.2%. She won the popular vote by 2.1% (well within the margin of error).

“These polls are meant to project the view they were written to project. Nothing more.”

The polls have proven to be an accurate reflection on elections. It might mess up your nonsense arguments but you know shit happens.

“and owens and kirk picked the movement up here in the US it is now tied into their corporation. They’re names are on it…..”

Where is it tied to their corporation?

  61. time out time out…….

    Phantom I found you a date…..

    https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EdyGkDEXkAE45ML?format=jpg&name=small

  62. The polls have proven to be an accurate reflection on elections. It might mess up your nonsense arguments but you know shit happens.

no they have not and the ones in the news aren’t even meant to….

Where is it tied to their corporation?

in a little yellow envelope, in a safe, inside a volcano…..

  63. “no they have not and the ones in the news aren’t even meant to….”

    What opinion polls were wrong?

  64. “in a little yellow envelope, in a safe, inside a volcano…..”

Otherwise known as you don’t know the links (or have made them up) between the WalkAway movement and Candace Owens and Turning Point.

  65. All your links are fox news phantom or police sites .
There is a temp flash blindness with lasers but perm damage needs 10 sec exposure .

Keep up the falsehoods though they just show your naivete

Be that navy vet who stood up to trumps thugs then get back to me . Otherwise you’ll always been a jellyfish all talk and no trousers

  66. Hillary won the national plurality, and the polls had that national number right

Trump won victories where he needed to in the right states, a different matter

I think that the state polls were not much wrong

Even Pat if I recall right did not predict a PA win for Trump

  67. charles

    Anthony Scaramucci
    @Scaramucci
Campaign staff saying Texas is in danger.

  68. Kurt the laser expert now

  69. “I think that the state polls were not much wrong”

Indeed. Outside of Wisconsin the state polling was all within the margin of error.

  70. Trump ran a brilliant state by state war

    No one denies that

But it’s really dumb to say that the pollsters were wrong. They were not.

  71. so the polls had Trump winning and it wasn’t such a shock that “News Anchors” cried or melted down in shock on air….. oh ok

No comment on the pic ?

    I’m heartbroken.

  72. Short term exposure to the eye with a low powered laser is unlikely to cause eye damage (never mind permament eye damage). However sustained exposure (often with more than one laser) just might. It is also possible that the lasers they are using are not garden variety over the counter types. Most laser pointers are 5mW. But you can buy 50000mW lasers on the internet (they’ll cost a few hundred dollars but you can do it). So you can buy a laser that is 10,000 times as powerful as a normal laser pointer. It is not ludicrous to believe that those lasers could cause substantial eye damage.

  73. “so the polls had Trump winning and it wasn’t such a shock that “News Anchors” cried or melted down in shock on air….. oh ok”

No polls had Trump winning. Because, when it comes to the popular vote, Trump didn’t win. Where did anyone have Clinton up by 30 points? Are you ready to admit that you were lying?

  74. Look I freely admit I pulled the 30 number out of my ass, but none of you can say there was a poll predicting a win, or any pundit on eitherside saying he was going to win unless of course you count the ditzy blonde who now trashes him on a regular basis.

I never believed he would beat her, certainly not in the way he did.

Seamus my view on polls is from someone who has used them and someone who understands what they’re purpose is. You are their purpose….. you’re all fired and you believe you’re justified in doing so… the polls you are reading and quoting did the job the polls marketers wanted them to do…. you get a cookie

but if you think these polls actually will tell you or me anything real about how the people are going to vote you’re fooling yourself.

  75. “Look I freely admit I pulled the 30 number out of my ass, but none of you can say there was a poll predicting a win, or any pundit on eitherside saying he was going to win unless of course you count the ditzy blonde who now trashes him on a regular basis.”

It was a close election. Firstly polls don’t predict the winning of the election because it isn’t based on votes. Hillary Clinton, if it was based on votes, would be the President. So there is always going to be a difficulty in translating a nationwide vote into 56 separate contests. I think too many analysts were far to ready to believe a) that margin of error wasn’t going to be a thing and b) that Gary Johnson’s polling vote would hold up. And so you had analysts making stupid predictions.

    However the polling was accurate.

“but if you think these polls actually will tell you or me anything real about how the people are going to vote you’re fooling yourself.”

That is exactly what they do. They were within the margin of error in 2016. That means they accuratly predicted how people were going to vote in 2016. Why do you believe they were right in 2016 but wrong in 2020?

  76. https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=13&v=UtJvYdX4GKM&feature=emb_logo

  77. Here’s the hoax. Go to Google and type in any three digits and add ‘new cases’, for example, ‘967 new cases’……

Oh – it works for four digits too

I still have not actually met anyone in person who has suffered from this deadly plague! And the local hospitals are still empty.

Given that this is such a deadly palgue that everybody is dying from it so we must shut down our economies and test everybody so that they may know that they have this terrifying disease – does anybody know anybody who has it?

  78. As I said there were far too many analysts who felt the election wasn’t as close as it was. Clinton was ahead by but within the margin of error in a large number of states. And their perception (wrongly in my opinion) was that she couldn’t lose all of them. And she did lose them.

If an election is within the margin of error then it is safe to assume that either outcome is possible. If an election is not within the margin of error it would take the polls being very wrong for the lower polling outcome to occur.

  79. Back from a bike ride

    The photo is marvelous

Trump ran an exceptionally good, targeted campaign, and Hillary was lazy and stupid. Not paying attention to the white working class in PA and other states was dumB

The favorite does not win all the time. That’s why they play the games

  80. According to the NY Times there is now a ‘wall of vetrans’ in Portland between the protesters and Trump’s goons. The goons beat a navy vet and this is a reaction.

It is obvious a desperate Trump wants to create a conflict and look like a law and order president. Trump has shown he has no regard for the law. This stunt will fail as his others have. Candace Owens is a well known Trump trickster.

Things are going so bad for Trump that soon it will be difficult to find anyone who will admit they voted for him in 2016. Republicans had to cancel their convention because of lack of interest. Why go to Jacksonville and catch the virus when Trump is on course to get slaughtered?

  81. So on this thread Phantom is now a Trumpster? Well played Phantom!

  82. There are so many “shy” Republicans that are too scared for their safety to answer a poll correctly or put out a Trump yard sign that I think this year the mob has made polls meaningless.

NYer, Federal law enforcement agents are not “goons”. That kind of rhetoric is why Biden is going to lose!

  83. Congrats Charles you have a home coming boy.
They are goons because they broke their oath to defend the Constitution. You don’t gas’s and beat your own citizens for practising their 2nd amendment rights .
Go talk to the vets who went to Portland to show support to the brave navy guy who stood his ground ?
So in addition to losing the seniors see cook reports you’ve now lost the veterans .

  84. hi charles
if you could throw up even a handful of your 85,000 dems who has left the party for trump
    that would be impressive ..
here’s another ex-Trumper a well spoken educated man

    https://twitter.com/RVAT2020/status/1287160704407973889

what dya think of what he says ?

  85. “There are so many “shy” Republicans that are too scared for their safety to answer a poll correctly”

Are there though? The “shy” Trump voter was played out in the 2018 election cycle. And the polls were accurate. The “shy” Trump voter was played out in the 2016 election cycle. And the polls were accurate.

If there was a “shy” Trump voter situation it would play out in two ways. In blue states (where supporting Trump was seen as bad) he would do better, without the same sort of boost in red states. Most people in West Virginia support Donald Trump so it wouldn’t be contraversial or social problematic to admit that you support Trump in West Virginia. If the theory held true then it would be in California. Yet the states that Trump had the biggest bump in (where he did much better than polling) where places like South Dakota and Tennessee. And the states he did much worse in than polling were California, Hawaii, Massachusetts, New York and Washington. If “shy” Trump voters were actually real, and represented a major group of people, then that should be reversed (doing better than polling in deep blue states). But that didn’t happen.

Biden’s lead over Trump is also remarkably similar in live polling (where a person phones your house) and non-live polling (where you fill in an automated Internet survey). So for the “shy” Trump voter idea to be true you would likely see a big difference between the two. That there is no difference between the two is suggesting that people are so afraid of telling people they support Trump that they won’t even fill in an automated online survey saying they support him.

  86. And Patrick with his made up numbers again. Trump has signaled to his supporters that dishonesty is the best policy.

  87. once again FU George.

    thread done.
