Has UK society caught a virus that is killing all that is good?

  1. David Vance needs to stop. He is broadcasting scientifically illiterate nonsense to 170K followers on Twitter, some of whom may make the tragic mistake of thinking he knows what he is talking about.

I’m sorry for my intemperate tone but he has recently crossed a line into antivaxxer territory, and I have zero respect for these people. They are dangerous.

  2. Masterson, that is the beauty of free speech.

People can say what they believe, and based on them telling their honest opinion others can state their opinions and views and decide. Is it worth arguing or rather discussing the topics with each other or is it time to tune out.

David expresses what he believes honestly, right or wrong. You have to respect that and then decide for yourself whether to support, disagree, or just move on.

  3. If a person doesn’t have any knowledge of a subject, who cares what they believe?

Allan says that he believes that Sandy Hook was a hoax, and that the WTC was a controlled demolition. Where is the beauty in those oft-repeated Alex Jones lies?

Anti vaxx and anti mask theories are in the same ballpark. They are made after minutes of study of false youtube videos.

  4. Suggesting that ingesting disinfectant is beautiful.

  5. We have some people here who are followers, not thinkers.

    And boy will follow anything.

    Drink that bleach, boys.

  6. If a person doesn’t have any knowledge of a subject, who cares what they believe?

Says the man who knows nothing about:

    The Constitution
    Firearms
    The Law
    The Republicans
    ad infinitum

but lectures us on all of them

  7. I’ve taught you a few lessons on firearms.

You had no idea what the gun show loophole was, and probably still have no idea.

Please continue to be a sheep and follow junk science, AllanB

  8. lol….. you don’t know what your thoughts of the day are until you’ve read the NYTs

  9. David expresses what he believes honestly, right or wrong. You have to respect that and then decide for yourself whether to support, disagree, or just move on.

Patrick, I never suggested he didn’t have, or deserve, the right to say it. I am saying that he is wrong, ignorant of the facts, and poses a danger to the public by disseminating his demonstrably incorrect views. In that context he is being irresponsible and would do less harm if he were to desist.

  10. That’s the great thing about the Internet

The person who knows nothing has an equal status to the person who has mastered a subject

  11. Phantom,

That’s the great thing about the Internet

The person who knows nothing has an equal status to the person who has mastered a subject

Not in the minds of people who can actually think logically like you and me Phantom.
I prefer to take advice from people who spent years becoming experts in their field of study. Such as proper climatologists and virologists. Not idiots on the web who claim they know more than these people and provide no evidence to back up their claims other than ridiculous blogs.
