HAIL TO THE CHIEFS

By Pete Moore On July 30th, 2020

Exeter Chiefs have decided to retain their name and logo following calls from some fans to lose their Native American branding.

England’s best rugby team came under pressure to cancel its name and branding by the usual left wing retards. Maybe Devon’s Red Indian population felt offended, or maybe not. But the Chiefs have thought about it and decided to just carry on. Good call.

Cancel cancel culture.

  2. They should never have been called the Exeter Chiefs in the first place. It is a stupid Americanism that is not needed.

Bristol Bears, Sales Sharks it’s all bollocks.

  3. Spot on, Fews. They did the same in rugby league. Bradford Northern became the Brsdford Bulls. Wigan the Wigan Warriors.

    Embarrassing stuff.

    Pete likes Americanisms:

    left wing retards

  5. You would hear very few Americans use the word ” retard ” as an insult these days.

Whatever flaws we have, that type of insult has I believe long gone to the waste bin, along with various racial terms, for the vast majority here.

You would hear even less European English speakers use it.

  7. Yes, these monikers are silly. Somehow otherwise sensible people get talked into doing it by BS merchant marketing types. If the Exeter Chiefs had themselves decided to drop the branding because it’s silly I’d have applauded it, but being urged to do so by the radical left is an absolute no-no.
