Trump “Get Behind Me Biden”

By 33230715130361 On August 7th, 2020

According to President Trump his challenger Joseph Biden wants to hurt God and hurt the Bible. The President did not favor the nation with any particular details to support this claim. Like the President’s “beautiful” health care plan it appears to be something he doesn’t think has to actually exist.
When one is presiding over particularly bad times and is clearly unable to deal with them it may be customary to turn to God, but usually for guidance and comfort and not as a campaign accusation. Perhaps the President thinks Biden will raise God’s taxes. Maybe he feels God is like him because he built the Pearly Gates to keep out the unwanted (God’s wall, thought he didn’t make Hell pay for it). Or does Trump think he is God and Biden will hurt him? How will Biden hurt the Bible? will he step on it, burn it, refuse to allow it to have photo opportunities with the President?
Is there another democratic nation on Earth where an elected leader speaks of the opposition this way? None springs to mind.
I suppose in his growing alarm at falling behind Biden we shall see more appeals to this type of idiocy. As for how much lower Trump can go, well only God knows.

  1. Trump has spent his entire life in rebellion against all of Christ’s teachings

  2. In its pitch to evangelical voters, the Trump campaign has consistently painted the former vice president as disconnected from faith communities and conservative values, CBS News campaign reporter Nicole Sganga reports. But on the campaign trail, Biden references his faith frequently, citing it as a source of strength through personal tragedy, including the loss of his late son, Beau Biden. In June, Biden publicly criticized the president for deploying tear gas to disperse peaceful protesters near the White House, clearing the way for a photo op outside the St. John’s Episcopal Church. “Joe Biden’s faith is at the core of who he is,” Andrew Bates, a spokesman for the Biden campaign, said in a statement. “He’s lived it with dignity his entire life, and it’s been a source of strength and comfort in times of extreme hardship.”

on this one you’d expect all USA catholics here Mahons,Phantom and Patrick to speak with one voice, as Trump is directly attacking another person’s faith, which we should all agree is a no-no .
over to you pat .. be careful what you say now ! speak from your heart and not from the script big man !

  4. According to President Trump his challenger Joseph Biden wants to hurt God and hurt the Bible.

And the Trumpist Evangelicals will say “Amen! A good God-fearing man is facing an anti-gun abortionist. The choice is obvious. God bless Trump and the NRA!”

  5. There will be evangelicals who aren’t particularly impressed with this lunacy by Trump. But the majority who have accepted his bullshit this far are unlikely to turn away from him now.

  6. Mahons you should retitle your post “The View from the Bubble”

This is just to good….. here we have someone poking fun of something he doesn’t understand and admits he doesn’t understand it because he thinks the President had to explain what he meant and why…..

Joe Biden is a Catholic so is Nancy Pelosi and how dare anyone question their faith…..

Nevermind that Joe Biden just reiterated his support for Abortion on demand up to and including the moment of birth. He supports the Virginia Law that lets the mother and DR decide even after a live baby is delivered whether or not to give it care or kill it after she decides then she don’t want it…. but he’s a Catholic

They made a big show the last three nights in Portland lighting american flags on fire and then throwing Bibles on the pyre of burning Flags and he has given these people his support.

Now the good people of NY ca, and MSM might not notice or see a problem with this, just as they don’t see a problem with preventing people from going to Church…..

but the 1/3 of the Country that kling to their Bibles an Guns…. we tend to notice these things and one of the predominant views in the country right now that Mahons is totally oblivious too is the Democrat Party has declared war on the Christians….

so a post that doesn’t understand what Trump means by Biden wants to hurt God and hurt the Bible is a delightful testimony to how deep in the bubble Mahons is….

Thank you Mahons best bit of unintentional comedy yet…. lol

  7. that’s the playbook Peter , except trump is not a god fearing man, never once said a prayer in his 4 years, never reads, let alone the good book, knows NO quotes from it , and we all know a few .. and on the other hand biden is anti crazy weapons , not guns per se and finally he’s on record as saying his faith , declares abortion to be a sin, but he cannot in all good conscience legislate against womens bodies/ choices – which funnily enough is exactly Pat’s position, he has spoke about on here ATW many many times.
Its also my position on abortion !

  8. According to President Trump his challenger Joseph Biden wants to hurt God and hurt the Bible. The President did not favor the nation with any particular details to support this claim.

    Allow me.

The blasphemous Biden claims to be a Catholic, yet he had nothing to day about abortion or the mass infanticide which is its inevitable result. Nothing.

He has nothing to say about the epidemic of church burnings across the US by left wing terrorists. Nothing.

He has nothing to say about about multiple attacks by left wing terrorists against Christian congregations. Not a word.

Biden wears his Catholicism like a cheap badge, which he’ll remove in a heartbeat for a vote. He’s a despicable man. American Bishops should expose him for his silent cowardice or be declared cowards also.

    Hope that helps.

  9. Yes Kurt, and the Evangelicals know that Trump is not one of them. But they will try to re-elect him in order to get abortion banned in the USA. That has always been their aim and 80% of them will vote again for the pussy-grabber, just like last time.

Patrick claims to be pro-choice but supports the schmuck who will remove it if he gets a second term.

  10. Peter Abortion will never be overturned even if the whole supreme court were rightwing.

  11. Abortion will never be overturned even if the whole supreme court were rightwing.

LOL. Roe v Wade doesn’t need to be overturned. The SCOTUS just needs to confirm that individual states can restrict abortion in any way they like as long as it’s still technically legal. So they can reduce clinics to three or so in the entire state which can only operate three days a week for six hours a day. As some Confederate states are already doing. Abortion is already banned de-facto in most of the Confederacy and some non-Confederate Bible Belt states like Ohio. This will be a major Trump campaign issue from now to election day.

  12. Peter look at this map of planned parenthood locations in Ohio and repeat what you just typed….

    https://www.bing.com/maps?q=planned+parenthood+locations+ohio&qs=AS&pq=planned+parenthood+locations+oh&sc=8-31&cvid=CCA3B90323D34DE79DA673C92684DA76&FORM=QBRE&sp=1&ghc=2

  13. Patrick

Your party is overwhelmingly anti-choice, as you must be aware of. And choice has been greatly reduced in Ohio:

“Between 1982 and 1992, the number of abortion clinics in the state decreased by ten, going from 55 in 1982 to 45 in 1992.[48] In 2014, there were twelve abortion clinics in the state.[49] In 2014, 93% of the counties in the state did not have an abortion clinic. That year, 56% of women in the state aged 15 – 44 lived in a county without an abortion clinic.[27] In March 2016, there were 28 Planned Parenthood clinics in the state.[50] In 2017, there were 27 Planned Parenthood clinics serving a population of 2,585,171 women aged 15 – 49. 3 of the Planned Parenthood clinics offered abortion services”

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abortion_in_Ohio

  14. Peter if a woman wants to kill her child she will always be able to kill her child.

The myth you’re operating on is that the right even the christian right want abortion banned. They don’t. There has to always be a safe avenue for a woman to abort a child.

It would be nice if it actually was rare and safe, but the majority of the country would accept a cut off at the end of the second trimester unless the mothers life is in danger.

Right now in NY more black babies are aborted than born. The most dangerous place for a black child is it’s mothers womb. Which was the exact goal of Margaret Sanger the founder and patron saint of planned parenthood.

  15. Peter if a woman wants to kill her child she will always be able to kill her child.

    “kill her child”

No, it’s not a child at twenty weeks, which is the legal limit for abortion in most of the world.

I suggest that you quit the “I’m pro-choice, but” schtic and get on board with the rest of your party, including the pussy-grabber who has paid for several abortions in his fornicating past life but is now a born-again pro-lifer.

  16. The right does wish to ban abortion

It’s been a plank in their platform

    https://www.npr.org/sections/itsallpolitics/2012/08/21/159587120/gop-platform-anti-abortion-language-includes-no-exceptions-for-rape-incest

I’ve spoken with ardent supporters of that view, who have spent the night in jail after confrontations at abortion centers

Why pretend that this view does not exist

  17. Lol. Patrick “Carpet Bomb Civilians” and Pete “Nazis Enabler” Moore are the voices of the Christian faith. Your can’t make it up.

  18. 🙂

  19. I’m from the fire and brimstone side of the faith

  20. //The blasphemous Biden claims to be a Catholic, yet he had nothing to day about abortion or the mass infanticide which is its inevitable result. Nothing.//

    Nothing?
Biden still supports the Hyde Amendment, which bans the use of federal funds for funding abortion services.
He has repeatedly said he is personally opposed to abortion.
He also said he believes in a woman’s right to choose.

Maybe only our house libertarian can see nothing in all of that.

  21. can’t see Trump getting anything from raising this, esp as in the debates if he tries the “God/Bible Card, Biden will demolish him with reference not only to Trumps personal record of sins; but the way in which his administration has been so very corrupt.
Trump doesn’t even go to church ; even though Trunk’s a big whale Biden will body slam him no problembo

  22. In most countries the USA included, people regardless of their personal faith don’t really like political leaders seeking votes by claiming to be God’s preferred candidate which effectively Trump is doing here. Hopefully it will backfire on him.

  23. colm, i think you are right up to the last 10/20 years
    more recently however
The Christian right believed that control of the courts was the key to victory in the culture wars, to rolling back gay rights, banning abortion, curbing environmentalism and so on. In return, they agreed to ignore everything about Trump, his pathological inability to tell the truth about anything, his corruption and criminality, his misogyny and racism, his authoritarian bullying and thuggery, his astonishing ignorance, his flirting with fascists and neo-Nazis. And they have stuck with him faithfully so far.

The White House Bible Study Group has ten cabinet secretaries among its regular attendees along with the vice president. Pence and his supporters are confident that he will be the next Republican candidate for the presidency.

    https://isj.org.uk/christian-right-republican/
John Newsinger writes from the hamlet of Brighton

  24. // people regardless of their personal faith don’t really like political leaders seeking votes by claiming to be God’s preferred candidate//

They also don’t like leaders boasting of grabbing women’s pussies and hanging out with the likes of Jeffrey Epstein and defending sex-traffiker Ghislaine Maxwell.

Trump is easily forgiven; especially by the Christian Right.

  25. unchecked if Trump wins, USA will look more and more like a version Of Iran
with USA versions of mullahs and clerics in all positions.
Pat and Petem are the modern day mullahs in the West , and their gospel is not of Christ, but more resembles the wicked and twisted doctrines of Anders Brevik .
Mahons doesn’t see anyone of this, but he’s very much asleep at the wheel in my view !

  26. e.g. Jerry Falwell Jr has just lost his job just because of this one photo.

    https://twitter.com/RobDownenChron/status/1290134409757130754/photo/1

But he was only president of a university, not President of the United States, so he had to go.

  27. kurt

Yes I know the political religous right is more numerous and organised as a voting bloc in the USA than in any other western democracy , but I still think there are far more voters put of by religous grandstanding in a politician than supportive of such a stance.

  28. kurt

Trump even if he wins will not move the USA towards being a theocracy. He isn’t religous and he has no drive or passion to do that. All that will happen is we’ll see another 4 years of embarrassingly inept unfocused but entertaining American ‘leadership’ 🙂

If Trump was to quit soon after winning and Pence stepped into the Oval office then things might move in that direction..

  29. hope so colm , for the evangelicals Fox News is there goto so they very much take their cues from a rabid biased newsite, just a casual glimpse at todays headlines https://www.foxnews.com/ reveals all
I’m optimistic as the root and branch republicans are leaving in their droves, as for them the party has been taken over by criminals racists liars and that’s the hope , they’re shocked and disgusted

    https://twitter.com/RVAT2020/status/1291871746644041730

  30. first Falwell owns Liberty University he may be on leave while the heat from a joke fades, but he’s not fired.

Trump is not pumping himself as any leader of faith he has actually over the past 4 yrs been very sedate about God he doesn’t preach, he actually knows better, but what you people don’t understand is what occured last week.

The Biden camp had to put a statement out this week saying he still supported the Hyde amendment because he was caught saying he didn’t. (the Hyde Amendment is a sham)

but the main thing that happened was the ceremonial burning of the Bibles added to the fact that the Democrats are supporting these and allowing these riots while at the same time forbidding people going to church.

Tell me have you seen any stories on this stuff in your press, in the american press? NO

Because they are blind to the issue. In the meantime the ceremonial burning of those Bibles with a pyre of American Flags…. really really upset a third of the country, the third of the country that the MSM and the Democrats ignore.

Playing to that 100 million people segment of American Society is the Proper thing to do.

  31. Falwell does not own Liberty

It is registered as a nonprofit educational institution

  32. Liberty is set up as a nonprofit educational institution, but who set it up Phantom, whose organization runs it and runs the ministries?

It’s the Fallwells organization. What you don’t think anyone owns or controls nonprofits?

Liberty University is a nonprofit Christian school in Lynchburg, Virginia, and is perhaps best-known for its founder, Jerry Falwell. But more recently, Falwell’s son, Jerry Falwell Jr., has taken over the school and turned it into an incredibly efficient moneymaker.

  33. Controls, yes.

    Owns, no.

It’s a sign of bad governance that the son got to be in charge of it.

  34. Falwell is the racist who picked the abortion issue to influence Right Wing politics , as his other issues were deemed too racist in a post 1960’s world.
Its OT stuff like trying to stone the woman caught in Adultery , nothings changed its just Hatred with a white face, a cross and some stones to throw at poor women

  35. yes yes a son never takes over his fathers organization….

    Dr. Jerry Falwell
    Founder of Liberty University
    Aug. 11, 1933 – May 15, 2007

In June of 1956, at the age of 22, Jerry Falwell started Thomas Road Baptist Church in his hometown of Lynchburg, Va., with 35 members. Also in 1956, Falwell began the “Old Time Gospel Hour,” a nationally syndicated radio and television ministry that has led millions to Christ.

In 1967, Falwell implemented his vision to build a Christian educational system for evangelical youth. He began with the establishment of Lynchburg Christian Academy, an accredited Christian day school for grades K-12. In 1971, he founded Liberty University, an accredited Christian university for evangelical believers. In 1985 Falwell announced his goal of 50,000 students.

How it’s incorporated and the legal wording of that incorporation I don’t know, but to say it’s not theirs is silly.

  36. The most popular business entity for nonprofits is the nonprofit corporation, making up well over 90% of all tax-exempt organizations. This type of corporation is very different from the above-mentioned for-profit corporation. A nonprofit corporation has no owners (shareholders) whatsoever. Nonprofit corporations do not declare shares of stock when established. In fact, some states refer to nonprofit corporations as non-stock corporations

    https://www.501c3.org/who-really-owns-a-nonprofit/

This is a pretty good description of nonprofit organizations. They really have no owners at all!

  37. Kurt calling the Fallwells racist is asinine.

  38. Didn’t say that it’s not controlled

    Said that it’s not owned

  39. Patrick,

You are Catholic and pro-choice. And yet here you are attacking other people for being Catholic and pro-choice. Any reason for the absolute blatant hypocrisy of attacking people for holding the exact position you hold?

  40. I haven’t attacked anyone. All I’ve done is explain the positions.

  41. So you would support Joe Biden’s position on faith?

  42. No because I don’t know his position on faith.

I know he supports forbidding people from going to church during the pandemic and I know inspite of saying he supports the Hyde amendment he also stated he supports the Va Law. How he can reconcile those 2 I can’t see but I guess you can.

but what his position on faith he has never made a statement other than that he’s a Catholic.

  43. So he’s somehow bad because he opposes the spread of a highly contagious disease in crowded indoor settings?

What bizarre logic led you to this position.

Again, you have never taken this disease seriously.

If you like Covid 19, just say so.

  44. “he supports the Hyde amendment he also stated he supports the Va Law. How he can reconcile those 2 I can’t see but I guess you can.”

The two are not linked. One opposes the use of federal funds to carry out abortions, the other expanded the legal ability an abortion. I’m also not sure he has come out in support of the Virginia law and it is simply a lie to suggest that the Virginia Law allowed for a doctor to kill a child after it was born.

“but what his position on faith he has never made a statement other than that he’s a Catholic.”

And you questioned that statement because of his support of legal abortion. So are you not really a Catholic either?

  45. “So he’s somehow bad because he opposes the spread of a highly contagious disease in crowded indoor settings?”

That is the biggest problem with the Republican Party. They are pro-life until birth (or their mistress gets pregnant). Other than that they are anti-life on pretty much every issue.

  46. Phantom you may look at it that way, but the 1/3 of the country that attend church weekly don’t.

The evangelical and the rest of the christian community see Democrats encouraging rioters to congregate and burn bibles while forbidding them to gather to pray.

Spin all you want that’s the scenario as that third of the country see’s it.

  47. “The evangelical and the rest of the christian community see Democrats encouraging rioters to congregate and burn bibles while forbidding them to gather to pray.”

Where are Democrats encouraging rioters to congregate?

  48. I know he supports forbidding people from going to church during the pandemic

    What an absolutely bizarre comment.

Do the US Trump supporting fundamental Christian right have no position on the POTUS’s serial philandering and his contempt for that most sacred of Christian sacraments, marriage?

  49. The vast majority of churches, including the Catholic congregations, have no quarrel with the disease control measures.

You don’t speak for any of them on any matter

  50. That is the biggest problem with the Republican Party. They are pro-life until birth (or their mistress gets pregnant). Other than that they are anti-life on pretty much every issue.

that’s a damn judgemental statement from a man who says he himself doesn’t believe in God.

  51. I is simply a lie to suggest that the Virginia Law allowed for a doctor to kill a child after it was born.

Yep. Pat suggesting that Virginia legalised infanticide was risible.

  52. “that’s a damn judgemental statement from a man who says he himself doesn’t believe in God.”

Where did I say I don’t beleive in God?

  53. You claim to be a Catholic churchgoer

The bishops in PA have no quarrel with the disease control measures

This is endless Trumper bullshitting and making things up

  54. Phantom, on August 8th, 2020 at 2:35 PM Said:
The vast majority of churches, including the Catholic congregations, have no quarrel with the disease control measures.

You don’t speak for any of them on any matter

What does your Priest say on the matter? I know mine and the congregation I associate with are very pissed, I know the community I live in The mennonite and amish are blatantly saying FU. The largest evangelical church has started booking capacity reservations at the casino’s.

And made the statement of outrage that a casino can be open but their houses of worship can’t…

Phantom what is your source that the Christian community is not viewing this as I present it. and I’m not saying that just to f with you. I’m really interested in what you are basing your view that they are fine with it on.

I need to go get a ct scan I’ll be back in a few hours.

  55. Just now on the news there was a story of a JUDGE in California ruling that the constitution freedom of religion does not give people the right to go to church.

You really think this isn’t sending waves of outrage throughout the country?

  56. The Supreme Court ruled on that decades ago. The constitution protects religious belief, it doesn’t protect religious actions. So that is some slow moving outrage (or probably ill-informed selective outrage).

  57. There is zero evidence that the major Christian churches in America have any problem with disease control measures

If your priest wants business as usual in full capacity indoor churches in a pandemic, then he’s no good. Find a new priest

  58. The churches here have reopened with limited capacity

There has been no whining from the Catholic or Protestant churches here

Whining in the cause of a virus is un Christian

  59. We’ve had the issue of practicing religion in public before. The freedom of religion isn’t the right to meet and practice religion communally.

If your reason for being religious is for others to see you being religious then perhaps you should have a look at your spiritual beliefs.

Pat, don’t judges interpret the law?

  60. “ a damn judgemental statement from a man who says he himself doesn’t believe in God.”

Because belief in a god is a ticket to judge. Jesus said so.

  61. I also do believe in God so that statement is pretty stupid all round.

  62. pats position is exactly the same as Biden, he just can’t say it.
and this inflated idea of burning bibles is a great fear mongering tool to use
and ofc Pat uses it to the best , we’ll be hearing it now for 88 days .

Fox news is struggling to breathe life into the now non-existant or tiny tiny protesters rioting, more barrel scraping. But that’s the nature of the election.

Funniest bit is republican Ads suggesting Biden has difficulties with language, when Trump just makes words up and mis-pronounces daily .
They are looking for the bogeyman and its just not there, Biden rides high in the polls

I imagine eve charles in a moment of illumination might admit
shit they (dems) are not doing the bad shit we need them to do , in order to gain election traction for us .. Its a terrible , what we gonna do ?

Remember scooby doo, the baddies always got unmasked at the end
I can imagine a situation where a church is burned and they’re wearing BLM clothing
then when caught and unmasked its none other than donny and eric trump 😉

  63. Thanks to kurt’s link above I’ve seen the Fox News website for the first time.

After a string of about 20 “news” items on how great Trump is doing and how bad the Dems are (and loads of ugly English), you see a report on Falwell, but of course they don’t want to upset their readers with the photo or even an indication of the cause of his departure, but only

“The statement (from the Falwell’s university) said the Executive Committee of Liberty’s board of trustees, acting on behalf of the full Board, met Friday and request that Falwell take leave, “to which he has agreed, effective immediately.” The statement did not indicate what prompted the request by the trustees.”

Who said slavery in the US belongs to the past. What a crowd of spineless cowards.

  64. Trump’s support here is strongest among ATW people with credibility issues. That sums it up.

  65. amen Noel, well done you for visiting the site , once and once only
Its a travesty. The country is in the grips of an epic pandemic-160,000 dead and the toll climbing-and Trunk is trying it on, seducing those who will be seduced that the big threat to USA is “left-wing violent extremism?
Lol He got to Pat, Charles and briefly phantom,
There is power in Lies , whilst Truth is more powerful ultimately, its often quiet steady weathered and mature, not what a twittering world wants when feeding off anger fear and hatred get you all worked up . Battle of ideas going on for sure matey

  66. Left wing / anarchist and black and White racist violence is a problem

Decent people condemn all of it

  67. Decent people condemn all of it

I would have thought that ‘decent’ people would condemn all violence and not just selective ‘left wing / anarchist and black and White racist violence’

Time to climb of that smug moral high horse.

  68. Mahons, I’m a strong Trump supporter. Do I have credibility issues? BTW, clever title to the post!

  69. *Off

  70. I condemn all violence

    I was addressing Kurt

You are the one here who pretends that left wing violence does not happen, and that antifa doesn’t even exist

Very many liberals and lefties endlessly minimize or deny the reality of leftist violence

  71. Phantom,

Even Portland’s goofy mayor Ted Wheeler, who let the Antifa cancer grow in his city, has told them they are going to get Trump re-elected if they keep this up. His eyes have finally been opened.

  72. Yes and black leaders there have criticized them

But our boy says that they don’t exist and are no problem even if they did exist

  73. You are the one here who pretends that left wing violence does not happen

I have never, ever, ever denied left wing violence happens. That’s another dishonesty.

    That antifa doesn’t even exist

‘Anteefa’ exists in so much as a broad, very loose collective abstract concept can. It is not the tight, structured, command bogeyman that you attempt to present it as.

    I was addressing Kurt

You should have made that clear then instead of sweepingly inferring that those who think non state violence is sometimes legitimate & justified as indecent.

  74. But our boy says that they don’t exist and are no problem even if they did exist

Chalk that up as yet another untruth too.

  75. ‘Anteefa’ exists in so much as a broad, very loose collective abstract concept can. It is not the tight, structured, command bogeyman that you attempt to present it as.

How do you know? A thing is as it acts. It seems to me that Antifa acts in unison like it has a command and control element. If rioter are showing up at the same place, at the same time, dressed the same, and acting in concert, someone is pulling the strings, IMO.

  76. How do you know?

Because I’ve read widely on the issue and listened to those who have been involved in protests as opposed to ignorant politicians who have a bogeymen agenda. If you wish I can recommend some reading on the subject.

How do you join ‘anteefa’ Charles?

  77. Paul is an Antifa Truther

  78. And you’re a dishonest bullshitter.

  79. How do you join ‘anteefa’ Charles?

I suppose the same way I would have joined a so called “prod death squad” in NI, if they existed. SF pols could have had a bogeyman agenda.

  80. You ‘suppose’ there’s some way?

    Hardly compelling?

I don’t understand what the rest of your comment refers to.

  81. Except the leadership of the loyalist death squads were identified by the authorities. Had Antifa had the sort of command leadership that is implied then there would be leadership structure that could be identified, infiltrated and removed.

Most likely if there is a leadership it will be local. There won’t be a national leadership pulling the strings, but local chapters acting with similar tactics and goals but ultimately acting autonomously.

  82. Paul, you of all people know about paramilitary activity, which was the point of my terse comment to you. I’m not saying you were involved, but you lived through the Troubles. You should have a keener sense of what the people of Portland are going through, and not have your head in the sand.

  83. Their strategy is to mock any mention of the group that they support, Charles

That is exactly the strategy of many US Democrats

    It does not exist

The fires were spontaneous combustion. The concrete fell off the roofs by itself. They want you to believe that

  84. Seamus

You’re a lot smarter than the other guy

There are many types of organizations

Differently, more loosely structured organizations are still organizations

Al Queda is not Antifa is not the NYPD is not the Swiss Army.

All are different but all are organizations

  85. I suppose the same way I would have joined a so called “prod death squad” in NI

Charles, loyalist muder gangs had a very definite structure, hierarchy, leadership, membership ceremony, wings in prisons etc and I suspect that you joing them and being a Catholic would have very, very quickly been (another) dead Catholic.

An absolutely apples and oranges comparison.

Their strategy is to mock any mention of the group that they support, Charles

Support? That’s another one of your frequent lies untruths.

The only time you get mocked is when, usually when you’re on the losing end oa a discussion, you’ll bring our Mr Snide and make another vacuous comment in attempting to save face.

It’s what we’ve come to expect.

  86. You’re a lot smarter than the other guy

But no one’s as smart as you. You patronising cunt.

  87. Paul, you’ve kind of made my point for me. You know a lot about the NI death squads b/c you lived through those times. But when it comes to Antifa in the States you really don’t know but what you’ve read online (like me) to form an opinion. So far you’ve supped from the Aberdonian Cup, IMO. Read from the brave Andy NGO, who has covered Portland from the beginning, and has suffered brain damage at the hands of these street thugs.

  88. I don’t think Andy Ngô can be treated as a neutral observer. This is a man who took part in a discussion far right groups in Portland, planning an attack on left-wing protesters, laughing and joking at the idea of it, then went on twitter that night and blamed the violence on protestors, and not his far-right friends.

  89. Andy NGO is an ultra conservative right winger Charles with the same agenda as tose politicians. What else would he say?

So far you’ve supped from the Aberdonian Cup, IMO.

Charles, if you think I’m promoting some kind of conspiracy please show me the ‘anteefa’ membership, hierarchy, leadership, command structure etc.

You can’t because it doesn’t exist.

  90. Correct Charles

There is a very large amount of eyewitness and video evidence of what these political. criminals have done

Those less personally militant who support them Have adopted the package of pretending that they don’t exist, or pretending that they’re not organized. It’s a coordinated message.

This is exactly the same type of intentional disinformation that the likes of Trump sometimes uses.

  91. Have adopted the package of pretending that they don’t exist, or pretending that they’re not organized. It’s a coordinated message.

Why do you keep repeating the same hoary untruths?

‘Anteefa’ exists in so much as a broad, very loose collective abstract concept can. It is not the tight, structured, command bogeyman that you attempt to present it as and it’s precisely that reason that it will never be declared ‘terrorist’ because it’s nothing more than an easily tranferable label to place on anything you wish propagated by smug ‘experts’

You should stop being yellow and engage directly instead of using Charles as a conduit.

  92. Phantom is right Paul, you are an Antifa Truther. I can’t show you a membership list for Antifa anymore that you could show me a membership list for the IRA, but that doesn’t mean those organizations don’t exist.

  93. You misrepresent what I have said, and do so in a clumsy fashion

    Please go back to cursing

Charles speaks for himself, and I speak for myself

  94. Charles

I have heard the same scripted Democrat lie 1 million times in New York

Paul thinks he’s tricking somebody. He’s wasting his time.

  95. I guess we’ll have to agree to disagree on this issue.

  96. Cheers Charles

That’s why the world is as messed up as it is

  97. You can’t show me the infrastructure of ‘anteefa’ because outside a loose political ideology it doesn’t exist Charles which is the precise reason why it will never bee deemed a terrorist organisation by your country.

Antifa is a frequent bogeyman Trump likes to conjure up, but it also doesn’t fit the model of agitation Trump is describing. Antifa is not a cohesive, organized group but an informal ideological network of activists engaged in anti-fascist protests.

    https://www.thenation.com/article/society/outside-agitators-antifa-racism/

What are these guys Charles? Are they ‘anteefa’ or are they a foreign unit of the Kurdish YPG?

    https://www.npr.org/2018/03/15/593895655/dozens-of-westerners-join-kurds-to-fight-isis-in-syria

  98. It is all being organised, right down to the political response of New York Democrats. And in good conspiracy theory style I guess we all know who is (((organising))) it…

  99. Paul thinks he’s tricking somebody. He’s wasting his time.

Paul’s tricking no one. Paul’s presenting the cold facts of the issue and if you want to argue against them then make the argument instead of smart arse quips.

You can’t demonstrate an ‘anteefa’ infrastructure because outside a loose collective of a political ideology there isn’t one.

But hey, you love the big scary bogeyman so fire away.

  100. You are “ on message” , As Patrick is on message for Donald Trump and Hannity

  101. Yes, on message as per my ‘anteefa’ leader’s orders.

    FFS catch a grip.

  102. You misrepresent what I have said, and do so in a clumsy fashion

No Phantom. The only missrepresentation here is your two lies untruths above.

  103. Paul, we all know you have to do as you are told by George Soros and the Rothchilds, so that they can help bring down the United States and create a New World Order, as is foretold in the Protocols of the Elders of Zion.

  104. You guys are now in the same ballpark as Patrick and Allan

Perhaps you can have a beer summit in Aberdeen

  105. Fair cop, Seamus.

And I have gotten away with it too if he hadn’t been for those darned Americans.

  106. “You guys are now in the same ballpark as Patrick and Allan”

You are the one who has invented a mythical leadership that has control not only of rioters in Portland but Democrats in New York.

  107. Trump, the towering paragon of virtuous integrity said so so it’s obviously a well practiced Dem lie.

  108. This might help: permit me ( from c.s.lewis screwtape letters )

There are two equal and opposite errors into which our race can fall about the devils.
One is to disbelieve in their existence. The other is to believe, and to feel an excessive and unhealthy interest in them.
They themselves (the devils) are equally pleased by both errors and hail a materialist or a magician with the same delight.

  109. //Trump’s support here is strongest among ATW people with credibility issues.//

It isn’t only that. There is an uncanny similarity between the chief and his devotees in their self-preening, cringeworthy bravado, lack of education and general vulgarity and oafishness.

As for Antifa. I don’t see why it’s so important for some people to identify it as an organisation (when by all accounts it’s more accurately described as a movement). Anyone can put on any label he wants when he goes out to smash things.

Either you support the rule of law (including for lawmakers and law enforcers) and the democratic process or you don’t.

  110. Kurt,

You have somehow managed to make sense. Well done mate!

  111. thank you charles, we have to be careful what we amplify as much as what we deny 😉
and thank you Noel for your exposition ..

  112. Mahons, on August 8th, 2020 at 5:07 PM Said:
Trump’s support here is strongest among ATW people with credibility issues. That sums it up.

Half way through this nonsense since getting back, but I reached this comment.

The SHYSTER is calling people mainly me a liar again

FUCK YOU Mahons……. you want credibility lets start with your name….. keep calling me a liar

  113. oops someone is triggered , pat as colm might say you just proved mahons point !

  114. Life’s too short

    Hi from Staten Island

  115. F him…..

He wants a war I’ll deliver. I have nothing that can be used against me to effect my life in any manner. The beauty of being open book Kurt is that I can’t blackmailed, doxxed, or intimidated.

The man has no honor, no balls, and definitely no integrity. He can’t debate a defence of his positions so he accuses his betters of lying.

how’s the weather on Staten Island Phantom?

  116. It is glorious summer day

I went over to Staten Island on the bike to wander around the north shore, and I rode it across the Bayonne Bridge to New Jersey, And wandered around Bayonne for a while

Very nice day to be outside

  117. nice

    sounds perfect

I need a day sitting on a lake in a bass boat. Just relaxin.

  118. As a semi disinterested Canadian let me see if i can distill the mess that precedes me above

Many non-americans see antifa as a loose collective of like minded individuals, who though not organised per se, act out in a similar manner because they share similar values and goals

Some americans, particularly those on these pages, view their shared goals as some kind of organized structure

Now I know I am just a Canadian but let me say riots happen with and with out organization

some riots are carefully organized and coordinated

    Some riots are spontaneous

the problem seems to be these riots are both and neither

  119. makes as much sense from a canadian…. he can’t commit one way or another (he’s frozen)

he’ll just have to wait and see what america decides…. like I said typical Canadian.
