EUROPE’S FAILED COVID STATES

By Pete Moore On September 11th, 2020

The British media ran daily “UK vs other countries” pieces when it was thought that our infections and deaths were duh worst in Europe. That all stopped when everyone realised that the numbers are made up. I don’t think they’ll be coming back any time soon either.

Several European countries are recording a rising number of daily cases amid fears of a resurgence of the virus.

Hans Kluge, the director general of the WHO’s Europe office, has likened Covid-19 to a “tornado with a long tail” and warned that rising cases among young people could spread the disease to more vulnerable older people […]

A number of European countries have re-imposed local lockdowns in their worst-affected regions, and there have been renewed appeals for people to wear face coverings and follow social distancing rules.

Those “it’s all about the quality of leadership” articles won’t be seen again either.

Don’t bet on it Pete. UK cases are doubling every week now. Life comes at you fast when you are Boris Johnson. No wonder he is desperate to switch the focus back to Brexit. The only thing that his government is “world-beating” at is bullshitting.
