Tick Tock Tick

By Patrick Van Roy On September 25th, 2020

Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agents tasked by fired former Director James Comey to take down Donald Trump during and after the 2016 election were so concerned about the agency’s potentially illegal behavior that they purchased liability insurance to protect themselves less than two weeks before Trump was inaugurated president, previously hidden FBI text messages show. The explosive new communications and internal FBI notes were disclosed in federal court filings today from Sidney Powell, the attorney who heads Michael Flynn’s legal defense team.

“[W]e all went and purchased professional liability insurance,” one agent texted on Jan. 10, 2017, the same day CNN leaked details that then-President-elect Trump had been briefed by Comey about the bogus Christopher Steele dossier. That briefing of Trump was used as a pretext to legitimize the debunked dossier, which was funded by the Democratic National Committee and the Clinton campaign and compiled by a foreign intelligence officer who was working for a sanctioned Russian oligarch.

“Holy crap,” an agent responded. “All the analysts too?”

“Yep,” the first agent said. “All the folks at the Agency as well.”

“[C]an I ask who are the most likely litigators?” an agent responded. “[A]s far as potentially suing y’all[?]”

“[H]aha, who knows….I think [t]he concern when we got it was that there was a big leak at DOJ and the NYT among others was going to do a piece,” the first agent said.

  1. Are you running out of ideas for post titles Patrick?

  2. lol Pat is desperate for indictments to follow, like a man who needs his daily fix
just to feel that rush, and extinguish the craving
Trouble is these are the facts when you compare Obama Admin vs Trumps
once seen you can’t unsee, and they’re not going to change
Best thing is give up the kool-aid , all you’re getting is the experience of being skewered like a kebab on a roasting spit 😉
    can’t be that comfortable !!!

  3. The FBI believe that a corrupt, and potentially compromised, President is about to take office. Is taking out professional liability insurance not prudent given that?

“bogus Christopher Steele dossier. That briefing of Trump was used as a pretext to legitimize the debunked dossier”

Is there any evidence that the dossier was bogus or has been debunked? I mean actual evidence?

  4. pat go on admit it, its the perp walk of shame you’re salivating over
describe the feelings it’ll give you to see that, and the desperation prior to the hope?
For me its nothing more than a carnally minded desire our ugly selves never left , and you think of things like the colossuem in rome and the excitement our lower natures have in seeing a condemned man tortured to death
    That’s the one isn’t it ?

No Dave it’s actually laziness…. most posts on the Frame (the ones that highlight the crimes) are labeled Tick Tock.

I made this one Tick, Tock, Tick because there was already a Tick Tock piece still being commented on and I did want people to be able to differentiate between what thread of comments they were on.

Seamus I’m curious we’ve gone over this before. Even Christopher Steele admitted in a British Court that the Dossier was fake.

Every aspect of it has been proven fake.

The FBI believe that a corrupt, and potentially compromised, President is about to take office. Is taking out professional liability insurance not prudent given that?

The FBI knew Trump was NOT corrupt, the FBI was coordinating the frame. As per the Guilty plea by the FBI Lawyer who wrote the FISA warrants.

Gen Flynn was setup because they knew if he took the position in was getting in the Trump administration he would have upon revelation of crossfire hurricane would immediately have exposed the illegalities and the coordination of the Frame by the FBI/NSA/CIA/DNC that crossfire was running to discredit and frame Trump, not investigate any improprieties.

  7. “Seamus I’m curious we’ve gone over this before. Even Christopher Steele admitted in a British Court that the Dossier was fake.”

No he didn’t. We have been over it before. And despite being it over before you continue to lie about it. Just because you repeat a lie over and over again doesn’t make it the truth.

“Every aspect of it has been proven fake.”

Ok. Go through the claims and show which ones have been proven to be fake. Given that every aspect of it has been “proven fake” it shouldn’t be too difficult. Unless that is another one of your lies.

“The FBI knew Trump was NOT corrupt, the FBI was coordinating the frame. As per the Guilty plea by the FBI Lawyer who wrote the FISA warrants.”

He plead guilty to changing one line in one email – on the renewal application. Not on the initial one. So you want to try again.

“Gen Flynn was setup because they knew if he took the position in was getting in the Trump administration he would have upon revelation of crossfire hurricane would immediately have exposed the illegalities and the coordination of the Frame by the FBI/NSA/CIA/DNC that crossfire was running to discredit and frame Trump, not investigate any improprieties.”

Michael Flynn lied to the FBI (the same crime that Kevin Clinesmith just plead guilty to – I notice you are no longer pretending that it isn’t really a crime). He was charged with that. He plead guilty – and was thus convicted – of doing so. And that is the current situation, despite the best efforts of the corrupt Trump administration. Not only is Trump corrupt, the Michael Flynn saga proves beyond any doubt that he is corrupt.

  8. The FBI had these explosive texts all along. No-one else was ever supposed to know that the investigations into Trump and Flynn were utter shams. We know that they were shams because they admit that they were shams.

    Their own words admit it.

The agents’ texts discussed how the investigation’s leadership was consumed with Russia “conspiracy theories” rather than evidence. The agents knew it was a sham. They were so worried they lawyered up.

Peter Strzok admitted that General Flynn displayed “no evidence of any willfulness to violate laws”. General Flynn is going to make millions when he sues these crooks. He should too because they bankrupted him.

Boy, I’d be feeling pretty stupid right now if I ever believed any of this Russian bullshit.

  9. “Peter Strzok admitted that General Flynn displayed “no evidence of any willfulness to violate laws”. General Flynn is going to make millions when he sues these crooks. He should too because they bankrupted him.”

Why did he plead guilty to breaking the law then?
