Animals

By Patrick Van Roy On October 6th, 2020

Camden police on Monday said they had charged four men in connection with a shooting spree last month that left the home of two officers, who were inside with their newborn baby, riddled with bullets.

Jeremiah McDonald, 18, Jaqwa Styles, 19, and Julio Nieves, 19, all of Pennsauken, and Kobbie Johnson, 30, of Collingswood, were charged with attempted murder, conspiracy, and gun offenses, Chief Joseph Wysocki said during a news conference.  Police said 10 shots were fired. Six bullets struck the house, including two that went through the front door — while the officers and their baby were on the second floor, police said. No one was injured.

  2. So are you now admitting that your earlier assertion on this topic, Patrick, that this family was targeted because they were police officers, was wrong?

  3. Yes it was based on the facts at hand at the time of the first posting on this story, now the police have not only withdrawn their original statements, they are refusing to discuss a motive for the shooting at all.

Animals we’re still arrested and are still animals because for whatever the reason is/was they shot up a house with babies in it.

  4. “Yes it was based on the facts at hand at the time of the first posting on this story, now the police have not only withdrawn their original statements, they are refusing to discuss a motive for the shooting at all.”

Except it wasn’t based on the facts at the time. It was based on speculation, not facts.

  5. Hmmm kinda sounds like I was right in the first place Pat

  6. Facts as reported which are always speculation until the crime has been investigated, suspects arrested and questioned.

It was speculation that the house was targeted because the house was the home of a pair of cops. Now they are saying it was the wrong house and they refuse to discuss motive.

    The story has changed.

Yes EP, but you were speculating……

  7. “Facts as reported which are always speculation until the crime has been investigated, suspects arrested and questioned.”

Except they weren’t facts. They were never facts. Facts are facts. Facts don’t change. It was speculation. And you presented it as facts, rather than speculation.

  8. ok skippy

  9. And you put on your “cop’s are always right” blinders, I have nothing against cops but I am not blind to their humanness
