Rudy

By Patrick Van Roy On January 5th, 2021

Here is a good piece to give the Historical background of what is happening Jan 6th in Congress.

No matter what side of the issue you are on, or what you feel about Rudy. This is not a plea for either side it’s an explanation of how this works.

You don’t have to agree with either side to learn how it works.

This not a political piece.

  1. what a load of bollocks none of the cited cases has any bearing on the trump steal

  2. I got to less than two minutes where Rudy roots stated that Trump had presented a very strong case with witnesses, videotapes, documents and expert analysis.

Balls. This is more propagandistic balls.

Let Rudy or Don allege electoral fraud under oath and then we may make some progress.

  3. Sorry

I prefer to spend 30 minutes doing anything else.

  4. so both of you could not get past your personal bias and hate to hear what the different options that can play out tomorrow….. instead your bias blocked you from being informed of the historical procedures and how they work…..

sums you two up in a nutshell……

  5. I prefer to spend 30 minutes doing anything else.

cause god forbid you might learn some history on how your country actually works, but that’s just not worth your time.

    sums you up also

  6. Rudy would be wildly biased.

There are other things to listen to or read.

  7. I got fed up listening to heavily biased lies and had no reason to think the rest of the video would be any different.

  8. but you’ll never know because your mind is so biased with hate for Trump that nothing else matters.

To anyone that is interested in the Historical basis for tomorrow, when it has happened in the past, why it happened in the past, and the couple of different ways it can play out PROCEDUARLY, this clip will inform you.

If your head is so diseased and clogged with crap from having been shoved up your ass for 4yrs than NO you are unable of any thought, let alone the ability to learn a little history.

On that note I’m done for the day, and will be at the Rally tomorrow while the events explained above take place.

  9. Apologies for being off-topic, but Patrick’s thread from a while ago on the film joker is closed.

I just watched the film joker, and I thought it was f****** brilliant.

  10. I’m really catching up on my movies and series in this lockdown. 😁

  11. Your mind is so biased with hate for Trump that nothing else matters.

No, I just didn’t fancy listening to the lying balls I heard and suspected might continue throughout the rest of the video. Your insistence on people watching your videos is very Alanesque.

  12. Dave what did you like about it? The acting or the story?

  13. No and especially in this case Paul there is a vast knowledge gap on how things actually work according to the Rules, Law and History.

I stomach listening to a lot of people whose views and opinions I disagree on and don’t like so that I have the information they have in spite of their bias. It really is a callous you need to develop.

One of the reasons I can punch holes in things say like Man causing Global Warming. I read the reports and watch the lectures by the greenies. Now the last thing I want to do is watch or listen to or read anything by Michael Mann, but I do.

Information is the most powerful weapon that exists, sometimes acquiring it…. sucks.

  14. Mitch, you’re fired. Laughing my Ossoff. 🤣

  15. Obviously didn’t watch 30 minutes of propaganda, I’ve just woken up.

But happy Christmas number 2 (potentially). Looks like the Dems could be stealing the Senate. One seat is on a knife’s edge.

This is/would probably be the first time (if not, first time in a long time) a safe red state voted to give unfettered power to a president knowingly.

    This is Trump’s legacy.

He better lawyer up. I see orange in his future. Not the makeup, but a jumpsuit!

  16. He better lawyer up. I see orange in his future. Not the makeup, but a jumpsuit!

    great line smcgiff .

  17. I wrote a comment here 5 minutes ago and it never posted? Has it gotten stuck somewhere?

  18. its here seimi, and you’re here and we’re winning 😉
    projected winners
shortly PVR will be posting on the big Day NOT , where VP Pence has told Trunk
that he has no authority to do anything other than read out the votes tally
GOP butthurt will form the majority of posts today from the GOP and cultists
( gnashing of teeth, wailing, crying foul – the normal stuff from those always telling us “fuck your feelings” )
    Interesting days ahead

  19. No and especially in this case Paul there is a vast knowledge gap on how things actually work according to the Rules, Law and History.

And why should I think that Rudy trotting out baseless lies is going to explain this to me later in the video? If there is a real knowledge gap that is explained here why not outline it yourself and if you’re not able or willing to do that why not give us the times in the video where Rudy imparts his pearls of wisdom and we can skip all the lying bullshit?

I stomach listening to a lot of people whose views and opinions I disagree

As most of us do on ATW. It doesn’t make you special.

One of the reasons I can punch holes in things say like Man causing Global Warming. I read the reports and watch the lectures by the greenies.

But you don’t ‘punch holes in things like global warming’ Dave or Peter will give you considered, researched reports on why GW is a reality and you’ll mumble some word salad about GB being a religion, cow farts & microscopic minority scientific opinion.

Information is the most powerful weapon that exists

Then you’d need to do something to acquire it as most of your claims here are demolished in singular quantities of comments. Your credentials of self-proclaimed expertise are usually something like ‘I’m American so by dint of where I was born I know more about the US system than anyone else’ as your mistaken claims are put to bed – usually by none USers.

  20. Thomas Friedman nails it here. Trump will continue to demand absolute loyalty even after 20 January and the two parties are no longer comparable:

“Because when this episode is over, Trump will be doing or saying something else outrageous to undermine Biden and to make collaboration impossible, and the Trump lap dogs, like Cruz, Hawley, Johnson and House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, will be demanding the party go along to serve their political interests, putting the principled Republicans in a daily bind. Every week there will be a new loyalty test.

There is simply no equivalence now between our two major parties. In the primaries, an overwhelming majority of Democrats, led by moderate African-Americans, chose to go with the center-left Biden, not the far-left defund-the-police-democratic-socialist wing. Across the aisle, Trump’s G.O.P. became such a cult that it decided at its convention that it would offer no party platform. Its platform would be whatever its Dear Leader wanted on any given day. When any party stops thinking — and stops drawing any redlines around a leader as unethical as Trump — he’ll keep taking it deeper and deeper into the abyss, right up to the gates of Hell. Where it’s now arrived.”

  21. This is a pretty devastating clip from David Axelrod. It shows what Cruz, Graham, Pompeo and a few others were saying about Trump a few years ago, before they joined the cult to advance their careers:

  22. Paul

as my missing comment would have told you, I watched the entire video.
Rudy explains the procedure and previous precedents, which anyone who had read or watched the news would know anyway.
The rest of the 30 minutes is:

him making the same spurious claims of stolen votes and rigged machines that he was happy to make outside a strip club, but not in a court of law and, bizarrely, 3 different ads, presented by Rudy himself. In these ads

    1. Rudy urges all Republicans over the age of 50 to join the Association of Mature American Conservatives (that’s the AMAC to you)

    2. Upon joining the AMAC, what better way to celebrate than with a fine cigar, and nowhere offers you a better deal than the Famous-Smoke Cigar Shop of New York City. Add the special promo code of RUDY20 to get a $20 discount on any order over $100! (I kid you not!)

    3. Worried about your future? Afraid that AMAC membership and a cigar won’t fully protect your hard-earned cash? Then go to Hartford Gold, where you can exchange your money for gold and silver bullion! Just tell them Rudy sent you! (Again, I kid you not!)

I look forward to watching some legal case on American TV in the near future, and when it cuts to a commercial, a smiling lawyer will say, “Hi, I’m Mahons. attorney-at-law. You know, sitting in court all day, listening to cases, played merry hell with my haemorrhoids. That is until I discovered Assgrapes-Be-Gone, from Pfizer, the only haemorrhoid cream endorsed by the Supreme Court and the AMAC! Assgrapes-be-gone: haemorrhoid relief – sustained! Here’s former Attorney General, William Barr, with information on how to apply Assgrapes-be-gone in the event of massive butt-hurt!”

  23. So, it’s a mixture of Rudy propaganda and advertisements? That epitomises the worst excesses of USer society for me. Actually, when you explained the video this was immediately what sprang to mind:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JKDgjLf_rk4&ab_channel=93WK

I had a look at AMAC, interesting that their founder is a former insurance agency owner, that it targets people in middle age and that it strongly opposes the Affordable Care Act:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Association_of_Mature_American_Citizens

(Not to mention that Rudy is promoting smoking which is also detrimental to health). There’s also this:

In February 2017 AMAC issued a warning to the upcoming 2017 Academy Awards ceremony to not tolerate speeches against President Donald Trump, threatening to launch a boycott of theaters

Pat tries to spin an advertising and propaganda video as some kind of public information bulletin.

  24. President Joe Biden

    Vice President Kamala Harris

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi

    Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer

    Senator Raphael Warnock

    Senator Jon Ossoff

    Walmart door greeter Mitch McConnell

    Prison inmate Donald Trump

  25. Congress elections also stolen.

    It’s a fix.

  26. Good advice to the Trumpistas:

First you must cure your temper
Then find a job in a (fake news) paper
You need someone for a savior
    Rudi can’t fail

  27. Patrick

Dave what did you like about it? The acting or the story?

Actually both. And the cinematography was excellent as well.
The acting was brilliant all round but Joaquin Phoenix’s portrayal of Arthur, his mental health issues and his increasingly questionable actions was brilliant.
The film actually kept me interested for the entirety of its running time, which is rare for me these days. I actually used to enjoy action movies but now I find them formulaic and boring. I watched some superhero movie at my parents house over Christmas, (I can’t remember which one, but it had all of the superheroes working together). Despite fantastic special effects, it literally had no story. Joker definitely made a refreshing change from the usual Hollywood fare.

  28. Joker was very good.

Two of the locations were filmed a couple of miles from where I live – the mental hospital ( Which is actually the Brooklyn Army terminal complex ) and one of the subway stations.

  29. Phantom.

I actually thought about you when I was watching this movie and wondered if phantom knows the location of those stone steps, that are featured a couple of times in the movie.

  30. Those now iconic steps are in the south Bronx, not too far from Yankee Stadium.

I have never seen them in person, but I intend to visit some day.

  31. That was an entertaining link phantom cheers. I found the other movie location links interesting as well. I look forward to your video of you dancing the steps in the Joker costume mate. 😁

  32. First you must cure your temper
Then find a job in a (fake news) paper
You need someone for a savior
    Rudi can’t fail

    Brilliant.

  33. Trump’s useful idiots making a show of themselves… literally on the news.

Trump would not piss on these people if they were on fire if it didn’t benefit them. Some people make Forrest Gump look like a Mensa member.
