The Protest

By Patrick Van Roy On January 7th, 2021

Today in Washington their was a Protest against the Stolen election. The Rally was very nice, the wife and I drove down parked for free, and walked the Capital Mall to the Rally. The Rally was just off the Mall, we stopped at the Washington Monument and viewed down into the crowd. We we’re 2 jumbo screens away from the stage this Rally not up against the stage like in Pa.

It was a good time.

Then the rally broke up and a huge contingent began to march down the mall to the Capital. We got in our car and left. At that same time the lead of the crowd reached the barrier at the Capital and some asshole’s decided to tear down the fence and storm the steps. They made it up the steps and being unprepared for this met very little security.

The crowd breached the Capital and marched toward the chamber floor, then the real cops showed up in force and the mayhem commenced. When they reached the inner door of the chamber and breached the first 2 people through the door were shot. The woman a 14yr Veteran was shot in the throat and killed and a man was shot in the chest whether or not he’ll live at this point I don’t know.

I feel for this woman’s family, and the family of the man, but both people got what they deserved.

What took place today was a disgrace, one that I can not condemn enough, We do not engage in mob violence there is never the excuse, action or event that justifies such behavior.

  1. I’ve news for you Patrick. Your hands are not clean.

Today in Washington their was a Protest against the Stolen election

In a small way helping to propagate the horseshit that the election was stolen led to those miscreants thinking they had a right to attack the Capitol. Same goes for Trump, even more so. But you helped, even if only minutely.

    Shame on you, Patrick.

  2. Invoke the 25th Amendment
Facebook and Twitter have suspended Trumps accounts for 24 hours
He is now effectively a fugitive in his own land
    Might leave WH tonight
There are consequences to violence and sedition and treason
May he rot in prison for the rest of his life

  3. The election was stolen. 5 states violated the Constitution. Period.

  4. Most of the Republican senators disagree with you. As was discussed in the Senate debate tonight it was a Republican Pen state majority legislator that changed the law to allow mail in voting.

To think there was material fraud you’d have to have a majority of senior Republican elected politicians in on it, plus Republican judges… some only appointed very recently by Trump.

If you want Trump as your tyrant/King see if ye can buy a small island and go live there together. America said no to Donald Trump the first.

  5. 3 WH staff have resigned tonight so far , said what happened today was deeply disturbing and emphasised the need for a peaceful transition.

  6. The emperor’s new clothes is going to be an Orange Jumpsuit.

  7. Yeah cause persecutions and retributions will prevent the violence.

  8. Washington(CNN) After violent pro-Trump protesters stormed the US Capitol on Wednesday, a growing number of Republican leaders and Cabinet officials told CNN that they believe Donald Trump should be removed from office before January 20. Four of them called for the 25th Amendment to be invoked, and two others said the President should be impeached.

“He has to be impeached and removed,” said one current Republican elected official.

A former senior official said the President’s actions were egregious enough to remove him even with such a short time left in his tenure.

  9. Absolutely, Patrick. Traitors should face consequences.Trump included.

  10. This post is not about the Election, Trump or anything other than my statement on the events of the day.

The politics and everything else will be discussed ad infinitum over the next 4 years of the Biden Presidency.

  11. I’ll go further. They need to act quickly. As it stands there is a cornered rat with his finger on the nuclear button. The VP needs to act ASAP.

  12. https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2021/01/after-a-day-of-violence-and-25th-amendment-chatter-trumps-allies-jumping-ship

  13. It is certain that senior military officers, cabinet officers and senior political leaders have had exceptionally frank conversations among themselves.

We have a dangerous, unhinged, violent man, filled with rage that it is slipping away, that his name will live in infamy forever, that people have betrayed him by putting country first.

  14. Patrick

I am pleased you unreservedly condemned the violence without attempting to mitigate it and , along with Monica made it back home safe. It is a pity the man you support has so far been unable to express the same sentiments.

I too agree he shouldn’t be prosecuted for this. He should suffer what for him would be a far worse fate once he leaves the White House. He should be ignored, forgotten and left to whinge without any media or political attention for the rest of his days.

  15. Both his business and political brands are in ruins now.

The rest of his life will be really bad, filled with anger and recrimination, without joy

  16. Yes, I’m glad that you and Monica are safe when a few nuts turned a peaceful, lawful protest into an insurrection, and that you condemn the violence.

  17. Pat deserves no credit for anything he’s still repeating falsehoods about what has been the fairest election in the history of USA . Those falsehoods is what fired up the mob today and led to the insurrection attempt .
You own this pig pat , you don’t get to put lipstick on to make yourself look pretty

  18. Kurt, I would not go that far. Pat has the right to peacefully assemble and protest anything he wants, and is not responsible for the actions of other people.

  19. I hear the honourable members objection was going to give ma roolin guilty by association but I yield to the member from Texas 😋

  20. Good to hear from you Charles. Hope all is well.

“Pat has the right to peacefully assemble and protest anything he wants, and is not responsible for the actions of other people.”

I would have more sympathy for his position if he hadn’t spent the last six months pretending that anyone who supported the black lives matter protests also supported the riots that followed. He can’t have it both ways.

  21. // helping to propagate the horseshit that the election was stolen led to those miscreants thinking they had a right to attack the Capitol. //

Correct. If an election really were stolen, then the people naturally have a right to restore proper democratic representation, if necessary by force, and prevent a usurper from taking over.

If people are crazy enough to believe in this case Trump’s mad ramblings, then stopping the certifying proceedings in Congress is just the next logical step. The guilt is with those who generated and spread the lies.

This whole movement was just a narcissistic lunatic leading the brainless.

Let’s hope it’s all over and that now Americans – on both sides – will obey the rule of law and stay off the streets and do something useful for their country. Anyone who supported the wanton destruction of statues, small stores and the like has no right to condemn the attack on the Capitol yesterday.

  22. Does Troll condemn Trump, who incited this mob to violence? They were called ‘domestic terrorists’ by people from both sides yesterday. Does he agree?

  23. the first thing Troll does every day is post that the election was stolen
once he’s got that one in, everything he writes thereafter stems from that poisoned bitter root , then all of his nonsense can be seen as fruit from the poisoned tree.
    Expect no change there –
In as much as a holy person will bless the day , by an actor consecration
the devil worshipers have a similar ritual
and need also to show their allegiance to the unholy one !

  24. Nowhere any mention of the very obvious false flag operation at the Capitol, nor the tweets of 2/12/20 by your favourite politican :

The thing that critics of activists don’t get is that they tried playing the “polite language” policy game and all it did was make them easier to ignore. It wasn’t until they made folks uncomfortable that there was traction to do ANYTHING even if it wasn’t their full demands…………The whole point of protesting is to make ppl uncomfortable. Activists take that discomfort w/ the status quo & advocate for concrete policy changes. Popular support often starts small & grows. To folks who complain protest demands make others uncomfortable… that’s the point”.

  25. While I found myself agreeing with Charles’ reply to kurt about Patrick’s right to peacefully protest Seamus does makes a good point about Patrick’s oft repeated mantra about the BLM protests which will be hard to refute.

When you gather a huge crowd and rile them up with claims that their ‘electoral victory’ is being stolen from them, knowing that huge numbers of them are about to march towards the building where politicians are about to ratify the ‘theft’ what the hell do you expect would happen. Trump definitely incited them and it is foolish for anyone who attended to try and claim “we had no idea anything violent could happen”.

  26. djaym

The trouble with that analyis as regards to this issue is that Trump supporters have not been ignored. They succesfully won the 2016 election and there man held office for 4 years. They had the exact same right as anyone else to participate in the 2020 election and they lost. They had all the legal and procedural options open to them to challenge the results and were unable to convince electoral authorities or courts that the results were fraudulent. They have dominated the media agenda around the election since it happened in Novemeber so they can’t even claim to have been ignored there. Even the system of ratification in Congress was open to them to challenge the results and that was being played out until they stormed the building and haulted the proceedings.

It is a big fat lie that Trump supporters have been marginalised and their ‘concerns’ have been ignored or not addressed. All that has happened is that Trump had just dismissed the result of the election purely on the grounds it never went his way and has incited millions of his supporters to join in his genuinely fraudulent crusade.

  27. // is foolish for anyone who attended to try and claim “we had no idea anything violent could happen”.//

The “rally” also wasn’t convened in Florida or someplace, but precisely beside the venue for the final installment of Trump’s fall from power. In fact, the whole point was – somehow – to put pressure on the Rep politicians within the nearby Capitol to force them to do what Trump wanted them to do. It was deliberately provocative, and happening on the day when the Rep also lost the Senate, it was obvious that many eegits would think a physical confrontation is now the only option for them to prevent 4 years of Dem political dominance.

  28. that’s right colm and even more so President Trump alleged “fraud” even while votes were still being counted – the culmination of a strategy at least months in the making.

GOOD QUICK LINK HERE -Lays it all out

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/blogs-trending-55009950

Research by the BBC’s Anti-disinformation unit reveals that disinformation about voter fraud has been plugged by influential accounts on social media repeatedly, for months.

    Conspiracies fuel the fire
In the background – and occasional foreground – of this election is a series of increasingly popular conspiracy theories that encourage the idea everything is rigged, suspicious and not as it seems.

Professor Whitney Phillips of Syracuse University says the QAnon conspiracy theory may explain in part why these rumours about voting have spread like wildfire

  29. I actually think the events of yesterday have lessened the possibility of future violence or any mass continuation of the ‘Stop the Steal’ movement. If there had been some violence yesterday and the protesters had simply clashed with the police outside the Capitol buildings it would have been reported in an almost rather mundane way and the movement would probably have remained intact with further big protests organised up to and beyond inauguration day potentially escalating in intensity.

However, what unfolded yesterday I think has shattered the whole campaign and its momentum has not only halted but will dissipate. The bubble has burst and the MAGA movement will now become one for the history books.

  30. Yes

Yesterday won’t change everything, but it changes a great deal.

MAGAism will forever be linked with images of those large angry terroristic Trumper mobs, with their MAGA hats and Trump flags

Last night, Hannity was speaking of “ a few dozen bad actors, maybe 1% of the protesters “

    Eh, no.

  31. still 13 days to go colm , and we know what trunk was plotting last night as rudy butt-dialed the wrong senator; this a time to be on high alert
and why should the american people have to endure fear for the next 2 weeks
    there is a remedy:

Trump will not stop until he is stopped. It’s not that he won’t; it’s that a personality like his can’t. He is feral and dangerous, and pretending he has hit bottom is a terrible mistake. There is always a new low to which he can sink.

rump’s terrorists rolled into Capitol w/ guns, mace & zip-tie handcuffs. They planned to take hostages & likely perform executions, ala the Michigan statehouse plot. President Trump incited & cheered the insurrection. He should be immediately removed from office & prosecuted.

  32. The terrorist chieftain’s crime family is no better

    https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/ivanka-trump-tweet-deleted-rioters-patriots-b1783511.html

Chinese state media taking great pleasure at what happened yesterday. Thanks Donald! MAGA!

  33. terrorist-in-chief suits Trump today NOT commander-in-chief

  34. Chinese state media taking great pleasure at what happened yesterday. Thanks Donald! MAGA

Of course they are. This is what Trump has created.

But somehow Joe is Beijing’s man, apparently.

  35. I’m slowly coming round to the protester’s position: the presidential election should be run all over again.

An EC majority of 74 for Biden is not enough.

  36. lol Noel
the impact of the twitter suspension and twitter’s threat that Trunk needs to delete 3 tweets, plus one more strike and you’re out; will in all likelihood have a greater impact, than the talking heads on the chat shows the news sites, as that’s was where the terrorist-in-chief garnered most of his support .
Lin Wood the crazy of crazy mofo’s already had been banned , but he was calling for executions of mike pence and others.

  37. A commenter in TV just now opined that yesterday’s Trump riots “ sealed the a Republican Party in the tomb that Donald Trump made for them “.

A riot pre-arranged on right wing social media. Robust evidence trail for police to follow.

And, of course…few masks. A super spreader indoor event where many participants were middle age or older. By a movement that has always been mask and Covid deniers

A white riot with many participants , too. Can’t blame the blacks or lefties this time, skippy.

100 percent culpability toTrump and his movement.

    Trumptifa.

  38. In 1962, John F. Kennedy famously said, “Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.”
    That’s the truth

This is an actual quote on social media from an acquaintance In Florida who is a huge Trump supporter

It is almost certainly a cut and paste, So I shall imagine that it is circulating widely now

This is what these Trump mobs are thinking, still, today.

  39. I feel for this woman’s family, and the family of the man, but both people got what they deserved.

I’d have to know more details to give a definitive answer, such as whether or not this man and woman were armed. But on the face of it I can’t agree with them being fataly shoot.

This whole sorry episode is a sad day for America.
And a testament to what a nasty, narcissistic piece.of s*** Trump actually is.

  40. Yeah cause persecutions and retributions will prevent the violence.

Are you suggesting that those who voilently attempted to destroy democracy shouldn’t be held accountable for their actions? What happened to all that ‘nation of laws’ stuff?

Are you now suggesting that the rule of law shouldn’t stand because of the fear of more violence?

You’ve got mail. I’ve sent you a blog.

On a lighter note, Djaym’s pathetic attempts at lying are fucking hilarious.

  44. I am told that the woman who died was a QAnon

That anti American, anti British rt.com is openly mocking what you saw in DC yesterday, quoting the Iranian leader, speaking of the ” fragile ” US democracy, quoting China saying that it hopes that the US can enjoy peace stability and security as soon as possible.

Trump and his movement have harmed the US internally and abroad. This will take some time to recover from.

    https://www.rt.com/

  45. I’d read earlier today that her family claimed she had been ‘radicalised online’

  46. I am not now calling for regulation or any of that, but more attention must be paid to things like bad social media, to garbage ” news ” sites like Gateway Pundit.

I am told that Mark Levin had called for VP Pence to overrule the voters, the Electoral College, and the Congress. He too is a lawless anti Constitutional criminal who owns the terroristic acts of yesterday, along with Donald J Trump and others.

  47. strong words phantom, but all accurate and heartfelt – bravo senor

this one is doing the rounds – its delicious

We spend $750 billion annually on “defense” and the center of American government fell in two hours to the duck dynasty and the guy in the chewbacca bikini

  48. If there was a stolen election, then it can be seen as valid to have a violent insurrection against those who stole it.

So all those who spoke of a stolen election – what in the world did you think that your words would lead to?

You really need to learn to read before you write some day.

  51. If there was a stolen election, then it can be seen as valid to have a violent insurrection against those who stole it.

So all those who spoke of a stolen election – what in the world did you think that your words would lead to?

If you allow 10 months of rioting, looting and destruction to go unpunished you can’t get upset when only a few windows were broken.

  52. So which Books are on your list to burn?

The Art of the Deal ? 🙂

  53. “…when only a few windows are broken. ”

And four people dead, but fuck them, right?

  54. If you allow 10 months of rioting, looting and destruction to go unpunished you can’t get upset when only a few windows were broken.

Patrick – You are the one who said earlier this year regarding the bottle throwing outside the White House that any violent disruption affecting disruption of govt. officials meriting shooting on site. You cant get more directly violently disruptive of govt. business than what happened yesterdya.

  55. If you allow 10 months of rioting, looting and destruction to go unpunished you can’t get upset when only a few windows were broken

And democracy assaulted, and tresspass on Government property, and anarchy and vandalism and the international loss of the US image.

    You’ve got mail.

  56. “… regarding the bottle throwing outside the White House.”

    Colm,
Don’t feed into that lie. There was no bottle throwing at the WH. That was an excuse made up to cover for Trump, when he ordered peaceful protestors to be tear-gassed off the streets so that he could walk unimpeded to a piss-poor photo op.
Troll said they should have used live rounds.

  57. Patrick is explaining away the Trumper riots

You’re cool about the injured cops too?

Can’t have an omelette without breaking some eggs right?

The woman who died was a full blown conspiracy nut

Babbitt, 35, of San Diego, was outspoken on social media and a frequent retweeter of alt-right activists like Jack Posobiec and conspiracy theories.

In early September, she tweeted a photo of her and a pal wearing QAnon shirts at a Trump boat parade in San Diego. She captioned the snap, “WWG1WGA,” the extremist group’s rallying cry, “Where we go one, we go all.”

On New Year’s Day, she retweeted a post saying “This is a COUP. They do not Fear us. They don’t even try to Hide now.”

The day before she was shot and killed by Capitol police, Babbitt tweeted, “Nothing will stop us…. they can try and try and try but the storm is here and it is descending upon DC in less than 24 hours….dark to light.”

The post was an apparent reference to the QAnon theory about “The Storm” — the day when President Trump is supposed to uncover an underground cabal of pedophiles and bring salvation.

In 2018, Babbitt posted a rambling video on Twitter slamming California politicians as the crisis at the US’s southern border played out.

Her Twitter bio said that she loved “her dude,” dog, and “above all, my country” — referring to her new husband, Aaron Babbitt, who owned a pool supply company with his wife, according to McEntee.

    NY Post

  58. And four people dead, but fuck them, right?

3 people died of heart attacks and the woman got what she deserved…… I feel for the 3 that died of conditions, but the woman got what she deserved.

  59. Troll is in such a bind. Trump called these people patriots, but the cops shot one of them and she died.

So his hero called a woman a patriot, but another hero shot a patriot. He can’t call out the cop, cos then he’d be a hypocrite. But he can’t call out the president, cos then he’d also be a hypocrite. But he can’t call out the woman who died, cos she’s a patriot, and then he’d be a hypocrite again.

What to do, what to do?

Fuck it. The dead woman is the least important. She got what she deserved.

  60. Were the three rioters?

Had they breached the Capitol perimeter?

The woman was a terribly lost soul. There are many like her here, and there are a number of them in the UK too. All these problems made worse by bad influencers who prey on the gullible, including the gullible on these pages.

  61. BTW, djaym’S BLM guy is seen here at around 7.50:

    https://eu.azcentral.com/videos/news/local/arizona-investigations/2020/10/01/patriots-how-political-movement-took-root-and-became-force-arizona/5861143002/

  62. Seimi

Yes I know the claims of actual bottle throwing being the catalyst for that particular incident were very dubious if not downright false, I was just reiterating Patrick’s claims that in general even such a relatively minor action such as throwing a bottle would merit shooting the protesters dead.

  63. We’re storming the Capital, it’s a revolution.

    https://twitter.com/hunterw/status/1346919171595137025

Against a democraticlly elected government I’d suggest that’s terrorism / treason.

  64. Look you clowns can gloat all you want and perform your mental masturbations’ as you squeal in glee, but that’s all you are doing.

I have not excused the violence, I haven’t blamed anyone or anything on anyone except those involved.

If anything I’m shocked only 2 people were shot, and they both deserved to be.

Like it or not these conditions are the result of the last 12 years. These conditions are very likely to grow worse over the next 4.

Unlike a lot of you I do not condone mob violence, especially in a revolution, not that this is in anyway a revolution, but your outrage like your joy is very misplaced.

  65. Colm

I know, mate. In Troll’s case though, he knew there was no bottle thrown at Barr. He knows peaceful protestors were tear-gassed off the streets in order to give the insecure prick in the White House a clear walk to his photo op. And before he even came up with the bullshit story about the bottle – in fact, in just about his first comment on the incident – he stated that the police/national guard should have used live rounds.

So it’s not even anything as serious as a bottle being thrown that is sufficient for Troll to agree with fellow Americans being shot dead by their own law officers and/or army: it’s enough that his president wants to have a photo taken! Not only is that sufficient, Troll will even make up a story to try and justify what happened!

  66. Like it or not these conditions are the result of the last 12 years.

Trump urged protestors to march on the Capitol Building. They did, and four people died.

Troll says – “It was Obama’s fault.”

  67. Seimi it is nothing of the sort. Just as the bottle thrower at Barr should have been shot, the 2 that got shot yesterday deserved to be shot.

You support terror and political violence I do not.

  68. Shooting a bottle thrower would be wildly excessive violence

But there was no bottle thrower

It’s all repeated nonsense from the camp of the authoritarian

  69. What happened yesterday is not the result of the last 12 years. It is the culmination solely of a phenomenon that started just over 5 years ago when Donald Trump ran for and won the GOP nomination for the Presidency and gathered a following of fanatical devotees who believe the ‘truth’ is simply whatever their Dear Leader claims it is and yesterday acted exactly as could have been expected following his months and months of incitement.

  70. I haven’t blamed anyone or anything on anyone except those involved

So all those who attended the protests in Portland and the various BLM protests weren’t complicit in the violence caused by the minority after all? It was only those involved in the violence that were to blame?

Well, at least that’s something you’ve backtracked on.

  71. Just as the bottle thrower at Barr should have been shot, the 2 that got shot yesterday deserved to be shot.

Did the two from yesterday not exist either?

If there was an actual bottle-thrower at the WH, it should be easy for you to provide evidence of it, but you never have, despite multiple requests. It’s a made up story, one that you are happy to repeat, because for all your talk about being a proud American, who supports free speech, in reality you’re just a nodding dog for a narcissistic, untrustworthy liar. You have yet to criticise anything the prick has ever done, right up to and including his encouragement of sedition by your fellow Americans yesterday. Was it your own poor health that stopped you from marching? Were you annoyed at yourself that you couldn’t carry out the Great Leader’s orders?

are you now secretly glad that you weren’t able follow the mob?

You support terror and political violence

    More lies

    I do not.

Except for all the times that you do.

  72. Caption competition:

What does the ‘6MWE’ on the tee of the Trump supporter at the Senate yesterday refer to?

    https://twitter.com/ActofLoveMusic/status/1347155437062397952/photo/1

  73. 6 million wasn’t enough
seamus was correct about troll’s patriots being anti-semitic scum

  74. If you allow 10 months of rioting, looting and destruction to go unpunished you can’t get upset when only a few windows were broken.

Did you forget the dead people and injured police?

  75. Who was it attacked democracy and overthrew the Capitol anyway?

    Muslims?
    Mexicans?
    LBGT militants?
    Black Lives Matter?
    Socialists?
    Communists?
    ‘Anteefa’?
    Anarchists?
    All of the above?

  76. Dave

    It’s really very simple.

The dead people were all patriots, except they were also all scum. The dead person who was shot and died, deserved to be shot and killed. The other dead people, who were also patriots and scum, all died of heart attacks, and should be mourned.

The real problems arise if the post mortem on the woman who was shot and who died, shows that she died from a heart attack brought on by being shot. Should her death be mourned or celebrated?

At the minute, the easiest solution would appear to be that the police shoot some other member of her family too, just to be sure.

As for the police – they can do no wrong. Ever. Except if Trump says they are bad, in which case, we say nothing, until they are good again.

  77. to wean the troll of his conspiracy nonsense he could begin here by agreeing with this comment

    Ronna McDaniel, RNC chair:

“What these violent protesters are doing is the opposite of patriotism. It is shameful and I condemn it in the strongest possible terms. Anyone who thinks they are helping the country by participating in this is wrong.”

can he endorse this? or if not can he define what he means by “patriotism” and what are the limits – be a good start that !

  78. William Barr, the former attorney general, released a scathing statement about Donald Trump’s behavior yesterday, as a mob stormed the US Capitol.

Barr, who left office late last month, described the president’s conduct as a “betrayal of his office and supporters.”

In a statement to the AP, Barr said that “orchestrating a mob to pressure Congress is inexcusable.”

After a pro-Trump stormed the Capitol, forcing lawmakers to evacuate, the president praised his supporters as “very special” and told them, “We love you!”

  81. As I said before, Trump may in this way just be trying to unite the country before he leaves.

And in another last-minute fulfilment of an old election promise, Mexico has just offered to pay for the wall.

  82. Noel,

“Correct. If an election really were stolen, then the people naturally have a right to restore proper democratic representation, if necessary by force, and prevent a usurper from taking over.”

Exactly. Look at Pat’s post – who goes to protest such a thing, and describes it as a nice day out?

Only people who don’t really believe what they are saying. It could be about a football match, a bit of moaning about the ref and the VAR or whatever, but in the end just a day out.

  83. since we are running a little short of alan lately let me try and channel him

the woman who was shot was listed as a covid victim

  84. and the three others who died of Covid during the ‘peaceful event’

However on the up side many others infected with Covid at the event were cured when they inhaled the bleach in the tear gas fired at them by the police 🙂

  85. None of them were Covid victims. They were all Deep State actors.

  86. Jewish Deep State actors Paul, get it right 🙂

  87. What took place today was a disgrace, one that I can not condemn enough, We do not engage in mob violence there is never the excuse, action or event that justifies such behavior.

    Well said Patrick.

There are only 12 days till Biden is inaugurated so there is no point in invoking the 25th amendment, even though Trump richly deserves to be booted out of the Oval Office after his performance yesterday. For the same reason it would be pointless to attempt impeachment.

I see that they have erected a seven foot steel wall around the Capitol. I think it’s only fair that it should be named the Trump Wall.
