Because Friday night is Music Night

I read reports that a Scottish postman has made sea shanties cool again. I say that they were always cool. A banging version of “Wellerman” isn’t something I thought would emerge on Tik Tok but emerge it has. Check it out.

Alice Cooper has a new single out. It’s a cover and not as good as this the original. Outrageous Cherry were from Detroit but this sounds straight from Carnaby Street to my ears, about 1966. I can hear early Who and the Kinks. You can’t go wrong down that road. Have a good weekend, whatever you’re up to. I’ll be popping too Sainsburys and going for a walk, like I’ve done for the previous 44 weekends.
