  1. He doesn’t look at all “riled up by Trump to hang Pence” to me. Quite the opposite in fact. That’s the true face of MAGA protestors, who have been universally peaceful on every outing since Trump announced his candidature.

Eleven NYPD officers were injured last night by BLM terrorists. If only we had someone, anyone in NY to bring us this news. Lord knows the media doesn’t.

Must not have been picked up ny the PhantomTimes

  3. Obviously infiltrated by a MAGA mob 🙂

  4. Always diversion and sideshow from the peanut gallery

Hope your boy loves his last night in the White House

Too bad he can’t send any more mean tweets from there.

  5. That’s the true face of MAGA protestors, who have been universally peaceful on every outing since Trump announced his candidature.

I’m not sure the dead policeman would agree with you.

  6. yes providing as much info as one can find to share is unimportant…. just keep the narrative going…..

If those cops had acted maybe the one inside would have lived….. but that’s not relevant is it?

  7. Bidens best pick yet…… lmao a certified psycho

    https://www.oregonlive.com/nation/2021/01/bidens-pick-for-assistant-health-secretary-rachel-levine-would-be-first-transgender-official-confirmed-by-senate.html

  8. //That’s the true face of MAGA protestors, //

Exactly, a loud-mouthed ignoramus. Just listen to the hyped-up fool.
    What we all expected.

  9. I’m not sure the dead policeman would agree with you.

We don’t know how he lost his life. We do know how David Dorn lost his life. I know, you’ll have to google that poor man’s name.

  10. I won’t he was assassinated by Biden Supporters

  11. Phantom Trump is gone it’s all your boy Biden now…… he can’t even figure out how to tweet.

  12. BTW, this beautiful piece, written in commemoration of the Easter Rising, is going to be played by Irish concert violinist Patricia Treacy from Co Louth at President Biden’s inauguration in DC tomorrow.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0FidDfZlWr4

Now THAT was an insurrection. Let the Irish show you how to do it.

But let’s put the past behind us. Patricia is after all a member of the celebrated Cross-Border Orchestra of Ireland, so knows how to let her music serve the cause of healing and concord.

So a bit of decorum and beauty is returning to the American presidency and Washington after all those years of childish vanity and the ugliest incumbent to ever hold the office.
Patricia will be playing this music and another wonderful Irish piece on an original Stradivari, which was very generously lent to her by the Bein company of New York.

Here’s the donor and Patricia in St Patrick’s Cathedral. Beauty is truth, truth beauty, the poet said. And Trump is suddenly so far, far away.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bA2NG8JQtds

  13. She is very welcome here.

    A terrible nightmare lifts.

  14. Now THAT was an insurrection. Let the Irish show you how to do it.

No thanks. What with BLM and Antifa there’s already far too much glorification of terrorist filth without you resurrecting Irish habits.

Brexiteers showed the world how to win national liberation – peacefully, doggedly, by sheer force of argument and at the ballot box.

DV really needs to purge this place of terrorist sympathisers.

  15. it’s just begun Comrade Phantom

  16. //peacefully, doggedly, by sheer force of argument //

By sheer force of lies, you mean. Meanwhile Brexit has finally dawned and fishermen from among the most strongly Brexit regions of Britain are choosing to land their catches in Denmark and Ireland.

  17. No Noel, you are the Irish republican, the progeny of the greatest lying machine Europe has seen in decades. I will not take lessons in truth from you.

I know, that our national liberation was won peacefully, by the people, in the face of a political, corporate and globalist barrage grates. It really grates. Whether you are glad for us or surly says alot about you.

  18. You are a legend Mr Moore 🙂

  19. No comments on the farewell speech by po faced Trumpy?

    Oh boo

I wanted to wish him bye bye

  20. do a post…..

It’s his speech and he was President he deserves the respect.

Just like Obama deserves respect, and Bush, Carter, and Clinton.

  21. And Trump should have respected the new President who has succeeded him by acknowledging, accepting and attending with grace his inauguration just as Obama did his and every President in living memory has.

  22. The Trumps even broke with the civilised tradition of welcoming the new incumbent and spouse to the House. What a pair of tramps.

He couldn’t even overcome his hurt vanity to mention Biden’s name once; just more of the usual pathos and self-preening.

  23. Noel

    Absolutely spot-on mate.
Trump’s not just a f****** disgrace as an American president, he’s a f****** disgrace as a decent human being.

  24. According to reports I read, he also denied the Bidens a govt. aircraft to arrive in Washington for tomorrow’s ceremony.

  25. Remember this is the guy who stole from charities.

There is no end to his miserliness of spirit, his fundamentally anti Christian nature.

The bitterness will eat him alive.

  26. The Biden’s and the inauguration have been denied nothing….. you people I swear to god.

A very Symbolic Inauguration a bused in crowd, behind walls, Constantine wire, and an armored division….. lol

    The Bolsheviks have arrived……

  27. The MAGA rioters and murderers won’t get a second chance.

    Very sorry about that.

  28. According to reports I read, he also denied the Bidens a govt. aircraft to arrive in Washington for tomorrow’s ceremony.

According to reports I read, Biden, Clinton and Obama never accepted Trump’s legitimacy and spent years allied with the FBI to launch a coup against him.

Don’t argue. Those reports are undeniably true.

  29. They all accepted the legitimacy of his election by the American people but questioned his behaviour in office. That’s healthy robust respectful democratic behaviour.

  30. Pete Moore

We don’t know how he lost his life. We do know how David Dorn lost his life. I know, you’ll have to google that poor man’s name.

Well he didn’t die peacefully in his sleep you f****** prick.
And I was responding to the comment that the MAGA processes were peaceful. A dead policeman does not indicate a peaceful protest.
And yet again you’re wrong you f****** prick. I know who David Dorn is.
And unlike like you, (and troll), you f****** hypocrite, I condemned the shooting of those who stormed the capital, whichever so-called side they were on.
So f*** off with your straw man bulshit.

  31. //The MAGA rioters and murderers won’t get a second chance.//

I see that some National Guard troops rostered for the Inauguration have now been told to stay at home, security concerns.

The US will still continue to be a strange place for some time, it seems.

But these guys would hardly take a pot at Joe when they bear in mind his replacement.

  32. Yes, there is real concern about dirty QAnon / militia type cops and soldiers.

The same problem that they have had in Afghanistan.

  33. Colm –

Obama, Biden and Clinton authorised illegal and unjust spying on Trump to bring him down. Now, from Hillary Clinton in Septmeber 2019

Hillary Clinton dismissed President Trump as an “illegitimate president” and suggested that “he knows” that he stole the 2016 presidential election in a CBS News interview to be aired Sunday.

I told you, they never accepted Trump’s legitimacy. I ti=old you that because it’s true. Their own words make that perfectly clear.

    Dave Alton –

Be polite. We’ve had to warn you before. Don’t go there again.

  34. Obama was kind to that bum when he was elected.

Graciously invited him and Mrs. Bum to the White House, showed them around. Everything that Trump didn’t do for Biden.

  35. Be polite. We’ve had to warn you before. Don’t go there again.

    Don’t threaten me.
And go f*** yourself Pete, you dishonest sack of s***.
Why don’t you address the points I’ve made you prick.

  36. Obama was kind to that bum when he was elected.

He authorised the attempted coup against Trump.

  37. Sure he did.

  38. Come on Pete. Are you’re not going to address those points you made you f****** coward!

  39. It’s good that Trump is slinking off with a scowl and his tail between his legs. It would be totally inappropriate for him to be anywhere near the inauguration after what happened on 6 January.

I see that McConnell has now blamed Trump outright for the riot. No doubt he’s already been smeared by the Trumpists as a RINO TRAITOR.

  40. Calm down Dave. Nothing Pete says should wind you up so angrily.

  41. I disagree with McConnell more than I agree with him, but he has shown significant character in recent weeks.

  42. Colm,

Calm down Dave. Nothing Pete says should wind you up so angrily.

You know Colm, for someone who claims he doesn’t want to see ATW closed down, you’re one of them main people instrumental in bringing about its downfall.
You probably don’t understand that though.

  43. Dave Pete won’t and Colm can’t toss your ass off here, but I will.

    Keep attacking Posters and commenters.

  44. Dave

I understand fully what you mean. I am not as stupid as you obviously think I am. But if you think commenting in the way you did in your 12:05am helps the site whereas I put it at risk then you clearly are. There are much more fruitful ways of skinning a cat, but I guess you probably don’t understand that.

  45. BTW Patrick. Please don’t threaten to ban Dave or anyone else from the site. It’s wrong to do that. A commenter should really only have that sanction placed on them if they say something libellous or potentially unlawful in any way.

  46. I thought the last day of the term of office is an occasion for pardons to be issued left, right and centre. (but actually especially on the right)

  47. The matter of pardons infuriates me. Its nothing more than a green light for corruption. An absolute abuse of law (and this isn’t an anti-Trump comment) that President’s shouldn’t have.

I do however accept there can be an argument for the powers of the use of pardon in terms of clemency (reducing an overly harsh sentence in a criminal) for example, but if the power of Pardons is to be justified it absolutely should be restricted to unrelated criminal cases and Presidents and Governors should not be able to use it in relation to any cases associated with their political role or to pardon friends, associates or people who have been on their payroll.

  48. Today: pardons, tomorrow: Parler.

  49. and by the weekend, Prison ? 🙂

  50. Actually, I was referring, if obliquely, to pardons within ATW.

I mean, President Biden is going to Make America Sane Again. This is the beginning of a new era of decency and forbearance. Surely some of that will filter down even into ATW. Maybe our two main posters will start getting reasonable and sane again, and will be surprised to find themselves enjoying the unusual experience.

Patrick will take up American History for Beginners (look, damn it, it’s a start) and Pete will consider Europe and realise that Britain has always been part of it and that there’s a need to coordinate efforts with our great European partners to combat Covid-19 and Man-made Global Warming.

Next March will see David celebrating Patrick’s Day with a pint in his hand and a jig in his step and a copy of Gerry Adams biography in his breast pocket.
All over Belfast, Auld Orange Flutes and drums will be on sale for next to nothing, as their former owners see sense and dump them.

Speaking of which. Pete, what do think of this neat outcome from Brexit?

  51. Noel

I know you were referring to our own ‘crimes and misdemeanors’ on ATW – I just think the whole issue of the power that is the Presidential pardon is worth debating. I would be interested to see a genuine defence of the pardon for Steve Bannon for example; a challenge to Patrick, Pete or the few regulars who support Trump here .

    Colm it’s no threat.

I will not stand for certain behavior.

I have made this perfectly clear and if not let me state it again.

    The personal attacks will stop.

I have stopped engaging with members of the community to avoid anyone complaining that I am the problem.

I will not stand for the same people just shifting the abuse to other posters and other commenters….. you want to call each other assholes that’s just fine, but if it gets abusive I will step in.

This site is for Political and Social Discussion. That leads to heated exchanges which is natural, but there are still two people who can not keep their argument with the issue and attack the person instead.

If I judge and I am the only Judge that counts that a person needs to go they will go.

These are the conditions you all have created. This is not up for debate or discussion.

This site will be a community for discussion, those discussions may get heated, but this will be no ones personal war zone, not even mine.

That term implies a couple of heavies leaning on the quivering clients 🙂

OK – Lets hope its a power that is never used – but remember Patrick you may well be tested too by your..

    not even mine.

    …promise !

  54. I’m fine with that Colm and it’s why I reiterated it.

There are very few of you I will even bother to acknowledge.

    Promise
