Hypocrisy

By Patrick Van Roy On January 22nd, 2021

After months of Joe Biden touting his plans for a mask mandate as a near cure-all for COVID, it was noticeable to see him unmasked on Weds. Jan. 20 at the Lincoln Memorial. Especially since it was mere hours after signing an executive order making it mandatory to wear masks on federal property. Newly minted Press Secretary Jen Psaki said that the administration has “bigger things to worry about.”

  1. Fair criticism.

Prominently noted by BBC and various US media.

  2. oh YOUR going to Judge what is Fair Criticism?

After 4 years of lies about the last President that you championed…. that’s pretty bold.

  3. Even when you agree with him, he whines.

It’s fun to whine all the time!

    MAGA!!

  4. Hey Phantom on a serious note. I know you don’t like Levin, but he had the ceo’s of Parler and Rumble on. There is a lot of information about what happened that I think you would find very disturbing.

And it has nothing to do with Politics. You should take the time to watch the two interviews I’m pretty sure you would find them very disturbing.

  5. This is what we are going to get all the time now. Microscopic inspection and telescopic magnification of every slight error Biden makes, no matter how trivial !

  6. When you make it Law that you have to wear a MASK on ALL Federal Property and an Hour Later you do a Photoshoot on Federal Property…..WITH NO MASKS

Yeah it’s a Hypocrisy I’m going to point out.

  7. I caught a bit of his interview with the Rumble CEO

I think that some of the concerns about Big Tech are valid, and that concern isn’t just from Americans or Republicans either.

  8. here is a snipit Phantom

  9. yeah what actually took place was frightening

  10. Did either of you listen to my interview….. I mentioned you Phantom… (not by name) sorry Colm the opportunity to bring you up didn’t occur, but FO did manage to work himself into the conversation.

  11. Sorry, could not

    Long days of multitasking!

  12. “Yeah it’s a Hypocrisy I’m going to point out”

Phantom agreed with you and you still snapped at him, so I just thought I might as well disagree with you – and be honest you wouldn’t have been so quick to post a ‘hypocritical’ act from the former President who cannot be named !

I did catch about 5 minutes of your talk with David. I will watch more of it shortly and give my opinion.

  13. I didn’t snap at him…. I said good morning…

look you and Phantom are about the only two I can have a conversation with, without a filter.

I love and respect you both. Whether we agree or disagree the 3 of us accept each other as who we are and aren’t offended by each others quirks.

I pick on Tom incessantly whether I agree with him or not because he has proven over 20yrs of arguing with me to be a decent man as have you Colm.

  14. It bounces around a bit Colm (the interview) but I have a few good rants init….

  15. Colm –

This is what we are going to get all the time now. Microscopic inspection and telescopic magnification of every slight error Biden makes, no matter how trivial !

It won’t only be this. We’ll have four years of the media kissing their arses to point out too. In that same press conference a female reporter asked about Biden’s plans for decorating Air Force One. I kid you not.

This comes after a hard-hitting interview with Carmel Harris about her love for a particular brand of trainers. I still kid you not.

  16. Pete

Two wrongs don’t make a right. But yes there was some cringeworthy commentary on the inauguration. One commenter I think on CNN referring to the two bank of lights along the mall as being like “Biden putting his hands around the nation” 🙂

  17. My lib friend tells me that the only persons that Biden was close to when at the Lincoln Memorial were from his immediate family.

If that’s true, then he didn’t break the letter or spirit of any rule. Nice try, but no cigar.

  18. Yes Colm, that is CNN’s political director.

Chalian said, “The contrast on display tonight was so stark. I mean, those lights that are just shooting out from the Lincoln Memorial along the Reflecting Pool, it is like almost extensions of Joe Biden’s arms embracing America.”

They did this with Clinton, Obama and now even with Biden. Fine, carry on, but it grates half the country when these same Dem fluffers claim to be impartial or that the opposition believes lies.

  19. If that’s true, then he didn’t break the letter or spirit of any rule. Nice try, but no cigar.

The rule is masks must be worn at all times when moving about federal property. Social distancing concerns “Stationary” People…

So “technically” walking around in the Lincoln Memorial without a mask does break the spirit, but you are right Nice try, but no cigar.

  20. The EO mandates face coverings at all times for everyone on federal property. But hey, according to Psaki it was fine because they were “celebrating”.

A million gym owners, bar owners and restarateurs are bound to find that persuasive.

  21. Section 1. Policy. It is the policy of my Administration to halt the spread of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) by relying on the best available data and science-based public health measures. Such measures include wearing masks when around others, physical distancing, and other related precautions recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Put simply, masks and other public health measures reduce the spread of the disease, particularly when communities make widespread use of such measures, and thus save lives.

Accordingly, to protect the Federal workforce and individuals interacting with the Federal workforce, and to ensure the continuity of Government services and activities, on-duty or on-site Federal employees, on-site Federal contractors, and other individuals in Federal buildings and on Federal lands should all wear masks, maintain physical distance, and adhere to other public health measures, as provided in CDC guidelines.

    From White House website

Every reference is ” as provided in CDC guidelines ”

And the CDC does not require masks if you are only around immediate family. There would be no point to it.

  22. what you’re really going to hate is the fact that the frame of an american citizen running for president just dumped a ton of documents on the frame…. the posts are coming.

What I want to see is how your insanity is displayed by all of you as this information is presented and people hopefully start going to jail.

Can you process in your heads abuse of power now that the boogieman is gone or are half of you just brain dead?

  23. and other individuals in Federal buildings and on Federal lands should all wear masks, maintain physical distance, and adhere to other public health measures, as provided in CDC guidelines.

no where in there is an either or…. mask or social distance… it says all the above…. not one or the other.

I don’t understand your 9:17 comment. Honestly, what is it about ?

  26. It’s obvious that Biden should be impeached immediately. One QAnon GOP Congresswoman has already confirmed her intention to do just that, even before the mask-wearing scandal:

“Republican congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene said she has filed articles of impeachment against the new President. Posting a video on social media, she told her followers: “I’ve just filed articles of impeachment on President Joe Biden. “We’ll see how this goes.”
