NOT IN MY NAME…

By ATWadmin On May 31st, 2009

I see that ONE of the UDA terror group cells – in Antrim – has declared that it WILL decommission its illegal arms by the deadline of August. How benevolent of them. And the price required for these fine gentlemen to behave decently? Here’s what the UDA “spokesman” had to say….

He would not give an inventory of how many weapons the UDA in South East Antrim still controls. However he said De Chastelain would be given enough proof to convince the public that their arms were put beyond use. “The whole community will be put at ease by what is going to happen with the arms and our wholly peaceful intent,” he said.

He added that some outstanding issues, such as a welfare programme for “ex-combatants”, would have to be worked out with the British government in the run-up to the arms handover: “There could be up to 2,000 ex-UDA members living in this area, many of whom need jobs, have health problems related to time in jail or other issues connected to the conflict, who all have to be looked after.”

Just so much crap. Round them up, throw them in jail – do NOT appease the scum of the earth by paying them off. It’s plain wrong – even here in the Inferno.

  1. Hear, hear.
    Hateful scum.

  2. have health problems related to time in jail

It’s all the government’s fault for putting them in jail, so the government must fix it by paying them off.

  3. Love that desert cammo: just as if they’ve recently been serving alongside HM Forces in the War on Terr…

    Oh, wait.

  4. Wonder where they got the, former RUC standard issue, Sterling from?

  5. I think it’s hysterical, and sad. Here you have a pack of terrorists that say they are going to give up thier guns (right we’ve heard that before) and in trade they want a welfare check.

The best part is the government agrees…lol

    talk about a dhimmi attitude.

  6. The Sterling SMG wasn’t just used by the Police force in Northern Ireland , Paul McMahon .
Nor was it only manufactured in the UK .

Mr. Vance is entirely correct regarding the morality of this issue .

  7. You see how people like Paul just pull anti-RUC ‘facts’ completely out of the air ? It makes you wonder if the complaints against this police force were contrived for political purposes and bore no relation to reality, don’t it ?

"who all have to be looked after"

The goverment should consult the Portestant community for the best wat to look after these characters.

I can thing of a one size fits all solution that costs pennies, strenthens the Union and improves working class communites, strikes a blow against the drugs trade and helps to stop street violence and generally would make us all feel good. it sounds a bit like ‘stretch the moose’

  8. Ha! thought that might get the blood going. Take it easy lads, I’m not being completely serious.

"You see how people like Paul just pull anti-RUC ‘facts’ completely out of the air ? It makes you wonder if the complaints against this police force were contrived for political purposes and bore no relation to reality, don’t it ?"

C’mon now Sham. Given the fact the the Sterling was a general issue to the RUC and the fact that some security force weapons found their way into the hands of loyalists is it really too much a stretch of the imagination to speculate on the origins of the weapon?

  9. LOL! Nice one, Paul.

Of course, while I would very much like to see UDA/UFF/UVF/LVF/RHC/OV etc etc decommission, I think the events in Coleraine have shown that "where there’s a will, there’s a way".
