1. The Russians had the right idea… 10,000 deaths, and 20,000 maimed bodies later.

   How many politicians died?

2. ‘You can’t make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear’.

3. Actually the Russians really did have the right idea.

   A severely backward society like that would actually have benefited from a USSR type Communist structure.

   Communism is bad, but it’s much better than the traditional ways of Afghanistan.

5. Sorry, their house, their rules. If they want to live like this, so be it. Not my country, not my people, not my problem.

   Over here though, we have our own medieval tribes itching to introduce/enrich us to these ways.
