…and your ‘friends’ closer.

When embarking on a path which is more than slightly unpopular, when that path means moving towards your true beliefs and traditions, guess who comes along to give you the type of support you really, really, could have done without!

Major advance in Arabian medical technology!

The homosexual lifestyle, habits, proclivity for self-publicity, the whole ‘Pride’ thing: I just don’t get it at all. There again, my lifestyle, which has always been that of a totally heterosexual and monogamous man who has morphed into a grandfather who has just celebrated his forty-sixth wedding anniversary, along with three adult kids and three grandsons, probably doesn’t appeal to them either; which is how the world is.

As long as they don’t bother me or mine, as long as their craving for ‘equality’ and ‘acceptance’, and all the other catchphrase slogans used so often by homosexual campaigners doesn’t intrude or impinge upon my family or mine, I am not all that bothered. Camp Cameron may have made homosexual marriage lawful, but it doesn’t make it any more acceptable to the millions who just don’t believe that Steve is the equal of Eve.

But I don’t believe that their homosexual lifestyle can be detected by a medical test, which is what the  Gulf States Governments are proposing to do. I mean, are they gonna’ subject everyone coming through the ‘Arrivals’  door at the airport to a lie-detector test, or check them out for HIV or AIDs infections? Or are they just going to hold three different coloured shirts up and ask which one appeals to the viewer? And if the answer is ‘pink’, …back on the plane!

As we slouch towards Gommorah, there will be many more such instances like this;

A CHURCH of England vicar refused to christen a baby boy because his lesbian parents both wanted to be registered as his mother.

Get that? Two mums, no Dad – the gay agenda incarnate.

Aimi Leggett, 25, and her civil partner Victoria, 22, had hoped to welcome  one-year-old Alfie into the church with a traditional christening. But Reverend George Gebauer told them it was ‘impossible’ for him to have two mothers – forcing his archdeacon to intervene and give permission for  the  service to go ahead.

Note the cowardly approach of the Archdeacon.

The 87-year-old from St Mary’s Church in Warsash, Hampshire – who says he ‘feels sorry’ for gay people because they are medically ‘imbalanced’ – refused to conduct the ceremony claiming it could be ‘illegal’ to proceed in the way they wanted. The couple stormed out of the meeting after the vicar suggested that one of  them should be listed as godmother instead because the baptism certificate only has space for one mother and one father. Alfie’s birth mother Aimi said: ‘There was no way one of us was going to be listed as the godparent. We are both Alfie’s mum.

It’s Alfie I feel sorry for, two mums, no father, and god knows what else in store for him as these two lesbians put their own needs ahead of his. The Reverend Gebaeur was right to stick to Christian teachings and say NO. Yes, his Church has weasled out of it and said YES to the crazed demands of the lesbians concerned lest they be sued, I imagine. This is the thin end of the stick however as the consequences of the radical redefinition of marriage become apparent.

It’s the spirit of the age…..two lead news stories today.

Plans to legalise same-sex marriage in England and Wales return to the Commons later today, amid continuing opposition from some Conservative activists and MPs. The Marriage Bill was approved by a 225-vote majority when it was last debated by MPs in February, but nearly half of all Tories voted against it.

The issue of gay ministers will top the agenda at the Church of Scotland’s General Assembly, four years after the first openly homosexual minister was appointed by the Kirk.

It strikes me that this small group of homosexual activists behind the “gay marriage” meme must be feeling very content today as they dominate the news agenda. Gay Marriage is this year’s model and it will not be stopped. The same politicians who for decades have dismissed traditional marriage as no big deal, and who took away every tax break afforded a married couple, now fall over themselves to demand gay marriage. Those churches who once insisted that marriage was one man and one woman, now queue up to change the formula of hundreds if not thousands of years.

In the final analysis my view is that what we are witnessing the radical reinterpretation of marriage to suit a secular elite. Once “gay marriage” is made law. polygamy is next up for legalisation. Some gay marriage supporters have already said this to me. And after polygamy is made legal in the UK (something muslims will appreciate, although don’t be expecting a gay wedding down your local Mosque any day soon) what then? The new principle is that marriage can mean whatever you want it to mean. Politicians and churches conspire around this radicalisation and dress it up in the hollow shroud of modernity. it’s not, it’s degeneracy.

I’m with him!

In France…..Allez-ooop

In New Zealand……An acceptable alternative to sheep, one presumes.

In eleven states in USA……………A new type of Zumba dancing, it is alleged.

Me?  Although slightly wary of all the punishments etc., I have some sympathy with the Nigerians.

Gay Marriage. What HARM can it do, argue the liberals. Accept it, embrace it, push for equality, say the sirens.  Well,  Canada has had “gay marriage” for ten years so let’s look to see what lies in store for the UK…

Very quickly, traditional religious teaching on homosexuality will be penned up within church sanctuaries, and “faith-based” ancillary institutions will be crowbarred into submission. What’s that? I’m “scaremongering”? Well, it’s now routine in Canada, where Catholic schools in Ontario are obligated by law to set up Gay-Straight Alliance groups, where a Knights of Columbus hall in British Columbia was forced to pay compensation for declining a lesbian wedding reception, and where the Reverend Stephen Boisson wrote to his local paper objecting to various aspects of “the homosexual agenda” and was given a lifetime speech ban by the Alberta “Human Rights” Tribunal ordering him never to utter anything “disparaging” about homosexuals ever again, even in private. Although his conviction was eventually overturned by the Court of Queen’s Bench after a mere seven-and-a-half years of costly legal battle, no Canadian newspaper would ever publish such a letter today.

This is what the gay activists and their media shills will not discuss. It is the erosion of Liberty for anyone or any organisation that does not accept the gay marriage agenda that is my primary objection here but I wonder how long I will be permitted to say this before the enforces of gay activist orthodoxy shut me up?

When ‘Gay’ meant ‘rather carefree and happy’!

With the advent of opposition from the spokesmen of the only Religious Body whose followers mean exactly what they say, will we now see a speedy U-turn, withdrawal and consignment to the rubbish bin of history for all this Gay Marriage tripe?

When these people (murderous, fanatical scum) state that they don’t like something, the politicians of the Western world had better listen, or the Semtex Belts will be worn at the correct angle.

with friends like this, who really needs enemies?

I have posted before on the appalling decision by Trafford Housing Trust to demote and punish Adrian Smith for the comments he made on his own Facebook page, visible only to authorised friends.

This man, who had worked for the Trafford Council and then for the Trust for 35 years, and had given 100% to his job, was warned, demoted and fined because he wrote what was on his mind in regard to the idea of Gay Marriage.

He did not say, as I do, that perverts should not be given any special treatment whatsoever similar to those of ordinary people. He did not preach that, as sinners, they should be cast into the darkness. He simply stated that he believed that the whole idea of ‘gay marriage’ was ‘an equality too far’!

So, has he committed the high crime of ‘homophobia’? Has he given ‘offence’ to anyone? I reckon that the Trust should not only be made to reinstate this man to his previous position and pay, they should also pay him exemplary damages, mainly for being a set of uptight twerps with absolutely no idea of industrial relations; or sexual relations for that matter!

I was supposed to doing the Nolan TV show tomorrow night but looks like it will now be next week before I am inflicted upon an unsuspecting public! This is a topic that will be debated tomorrow night though… …

A call for same-sex couples to be given the right to marry in Northern Ireland has been defeated in the Stormont Assembly. The vast majority of unionist members voted against the motion, which was jointly tabled by Sinn Fein and the Green Party. If it had passed, the proposal would not have prompted a change in the law but would have ramped up pressure on the power-sharing administration to examine the issue.

Isn’t it odd? Basically UNIONISTS voted en masse against this further advance of the gay agenda whilst NATIONALISTS voted in favour of it! I oppose it on LIBERTY grounds, as you know. If it DID become “a right” then it would soon become a legal insistence and religious bodies – Protestant and Catholic, Hindu and…erm..Muslim….could face legal attack if they do not contort their principles and accept what a tiny gay minority demand. I still insist that gay marriage IS an oxymoron and one further slouch towards Gomorrah however. And I still have the right to maintain that view.

a reminder that ‘this’ hasn’t gone away either.

As with the ‘Colleagues’ in Brussels, who never, ever forget a proposal once pushed forwards by the Commission; so with the fanatics who contemplate tampering with an idea which has lasted for centuries, all in the cause of ‘Equality’. Yes folks, the ‘Gay Marriage’ agenda is being rolled out once again. With Cameron leading the charge, as the whole idea seems to suit him perfectly, the ‘Gay Marriage’ plan is once again running on the Westminster rails.

Those who oppose the very idea that somehow Marriage can be bent and twisted into an institution which is ‘friendly’ towards homosexual or lesbian couples, have been condemned as ‘bigots’ by no less a figure than the Deputy Prime Minister; a statement which was speedily withdrawn from the Press Releases once the ‘spin’ men got their eyes on the words, but by that time the damage had already been done. We have often suspected that senior politicians of all parties hold the electorate in contempt, but it is nice to see proof of that contempt brought out into the public gaze.

We hear the soothing syrup of Cameron’s words as he tries to pass a change of more than major significance as just a ‘minor adjustment’, and we know how much faith to place in this particular so-called Tory’s words.

To check out whether the proposed Legislation is just a ‘minor adjustment’ or a major stumbling block, check out the words of warning produced by a senior Q.C. for the Campaign 4 Marriage, and decide for yourselves.
