IDS: IF WE GAVE YOU MONEY YOU DON’T NEED, CAN WE HAVE IT BACK PLEASE?

By Pete Moore On April 28th, 2013 at 2:42 pm

Government is insane:

Better-off pensioners should voluntarily pay back their taxpayer-funded benefits, the Work and Pensions Secretary declares.

Iain Duncan Smith says he “would encourage” elderly people who can well afford to pay for their their own heating bills, bus passes and television licences to return the money to the state.

How’s about not dibbing out other people’s money to the better off in the first place? Oh, Cameron’s ruled that out (too many pensioners vote Tory, see).

Well no, people who don’t want to hang on to their share of the loot shouldn’t give it back to The Treasury. The beast needs to be starved. Give it away, give it to charity, give it to friends and family, but no way should the state have it back.

MPs HAVE A £5.7MILLION HARDSHIP FUND

By Pete Moore On April 27th, 2013 at 12:48 pm

Give me strength.

Pampered MPs are sitting on a taxpayer-backed war chest of nearly £6million that can be used if they fall on hard times.

The Treasury pays thousands of pounds a year into the “hardship fund”, which gives financial help to former members and their families down on their luck.

Please, someone, just make it make it stop.

MAN PUNISHED FOR COMMITTING NO CRIME

By Pete Moore On April 26th, 2013 at 10:57 am

Ultimately, the state claims ownership of everything-

A DAD’S new car has been confiscated by the Crown after his son crashed while drunk at the wheel. Kevin Stirrat was driving the £12,000 Kia Cee’d when he crashed it into a road sign and a hedge.

Sheriff Robert McCreadie granted a Crown motion to confiscate the car, even though it belonged to Stirrat’s father John. It is one of the first cases of its kind under recently toughened laws to tackle drink-driving.

The state will sell the motor, keeping a parasite busy for a week and will pocket the proceeds of its theft. And that’s what it is, plain theft of a man’s property, but the beast is always hungry.

CAMERON: WORK IS A WOMAN’S PATRIOTIC DUTY

By Pete Moore On April 25th, 2013 at 9:08 am

samcam

Samantha Cameron

The plantation owner says that women should ditch the baby after giving birth and start digging for victory. It’s “good for the economy”, apparently. Despite punishingly high levels of looting taxes, the owner’s lifestyle is so extravagent that he always needs more hands on his tax farm. We must always toil harder and longer to make his taxes because the beast is always hungry.

THE PARASITE CLASS GROWS FATTER

By Pete Moore On April 5th, 2013 at 3:53 pm

parasiteLike all elite socialists, Baroness Ashton just loves to bleed tax-victims.

When the parasite leaves her position at the EU next year she’ll continue to be paid £400,000 over the following three years. Good, eh? Then she can park her arse on a bench in the House of Lords and trouser £300 a day. And when she retires a £61,000/pa EU pension awaits.

Two things: You will be looted for every penny of Ashton’s comfy life. If you decide otherwise then men with guns will lock you away. Also, remember that EU rules require her to remain loyal to the EU to guarantee her pension. She’ll do this while sucking up £300 a day from us in the Lords.

News break over, back to work peasants. Ashton’s rewards require your sweat.

TAKE YOUR MONEY OUT EUROZONE BANKS NOW

By Pete Moore On March 25th, 2013 at 4:13 pm

This was so obvious any idiot could have seen it coming.

Bank accounts in Greece, Spain and Portugal could be raided as part of efforts to shore up the Euro, a senior Eurozone figure has suggested.

Jeroen Dijsselbloem, Dutch Finance Minister, who heads the Eurogroup of eurozone finance ministers, suggested that today’s deal to save Cyprus could be a template for future eurozone rescue packages.

Don’t relax if you’re not in Greece, Spain or Portugal. It could happen anywhere. The only way to protect your savings anywhere in the eurozone is to take physical control of them, which you do not have with a bank account. Take your money out of the banking system immediately. Think about safekeeping later. Just take control now.

LEW ROCKWELL: IT’S BETTER TO KEEP YOUR CASH IN A MATTRESS

By Pete Moore On March 21st, 2013 at 2:41 pm

Cypriots should become Austrian. The banks were supposed to open today, but now the’re scheduled to open on Tuesday. The obvious question is: which Tuesday? In the meantime the government/banking nexus continues to thieve depositor’s money. As usual, Lew Rockwell, Chairman of the Ludwig von Mises Institute, cuts to the quick –

CAMERON: WOMEN MUST BECOME TAX CATTLE

By Pete Moore On March 19th, 2013 at 2:39 pm

The Treasury will give £1200 of our dosh to working mothers. Stay-at-home mothers “are less deserving of state help” and can sod off. You want the money? Go make some taxes for the state first. Then give the £1200 to a child carer, who’ll be lifted of tax loot just like you.

I THINK P. J. O’ROURKE NAILED THIS ONE

By Pete Moore On March 13th, 2013 at 2:41 pm

“When buying and selling are controlled by legislation, the first things to be bought and sold are legislators.”

December 2012: Euro Parliament moves to effectively ban e-cigarettes

December 2012: EU plans tougher tobacco health warnings

Now get this –

13 March 2012: Euro Parliament votes to subsidise tobacco farmers

Next will come the mega-health warnings followed by a multi-million euro anti-smoking campaign, paid for the sucker taxpayers who are forced to subsidise tobacco farmers in the first place and, always of course, more and more taxes.

Truly, government is insanity.

INCENTIVES MATTER

By Pete Moore On February 7th, 2013 at 1:05 pm

George Osborne has granted a tax amnesty to overseas athletes competing in this summer’s London Grand Prix in the Olympic Stadium to ensure that Usain Bolt takes centre stage on the anniversary of the Olympic opening ceremony.

Who knew that people changed their behaviour in response to incentives? Congratulations to the athletes, who will perform the real public service of giving fans what they want without the savage beast confiscating the usual enormous chunk of their income.

How large? The Treasury is in the habit of not just taxing income made from tournaments in this country, but also a percentage of worldwide earnings too. Usain Bolt and others said “up yours” to that and haven’t been here outside of the Olympics for a few years.

Of course the real incentive is for politicians and bureaucrats to avoid the embarrassment of famous athletes boycotting their games at the Olympic Stadium because their looting is so out of control. The State cannot bear to be mocked.
