Like all great parasites, John Bercow loves to criticise people who do productive work for their income. The troughing Speaker, back in his Romanian homeland, stuck the knife into people forced to make him wealthy under the threat of violence, derided the work ethic of the British people, and promoted their invasion by aliens.

BercowJohn Bercow: migrants are better workers

Eastern European immigrants to Britain show more “aptitude and commitment” to work than British people, the Commons Speaker has said.

In remarks that have raised questions about his political neutrality, the Speaker also attacked British critics of recent trends in immigration for their “bellicose and strident tone” […] In remarks on a visit to Romania last week, Mr Bercow appeared to give his support for policies that have allowed eastern Europeans to travel to Britain and work.

Bercow is as he is. He’s a creep and a parasite imbued with all the arrogance self-righteousness of the politician who knows he never has to serve his fellow man or please a customer to pay a bill. Voters had the chance to kick his arse out at the 2010 General Election when Farage stood against him. Almost 23,000 Tory drones gave him a thumping majority. Like the liberal Tories, Bercow then insults and abuses them like a Romanian farmer whipping his cattle. Idiots.

Are you still paying for this trash?

The state broadcaster wasted no time in becoming a vast national troller, filling the airwaves with every old Lefty they could drag up. I genuinely wish I had a TV Licence to burn.

“The people dont matter.”

It’s no surprise. The Secretary of State came to London three weeks and announced that Washington would ignore the referendum. Let’s acknowledge their consistency now in that case. After 99.8% of islanders voted to remain British, the State Department has again discarded their opinion, taking no position on sovereignty, but recognising what it calls Argentina’s “competing claim” to the Falkland Islands.

I’m tempted to suggest that Downing Street should recognise Mexico’s “competing claim” to Texas and California, but the Obama regime might well agree. Of course, there’s no competing claim for land by Buenos Aires, as explained by von Mises:

“A nation, therefore, has no right to say to a province: You belong to me, I want to take you. A province consists of its inhabitants. If anybody has a right to be heard in this case it is these inhabitants. Boundary disputes should be settled by plebiscite.”

Liberation theorists would concur, except, it seems, when those voting are white.

It’s difficult to imagine that an apologist for National Socialist mass murder would be treated politely, yet the apologist for communist mass murder (and friend of the Cambridge Spy Ring), the execrable Eric Hobsbawm, was feted, showered with trinkets, awarded a Companion of Honour and is eulogised still by equally execrable politicians.

Asked by the Canadian academic and politician Michael Ignatieff on television whether the deaths of 20 million people in the USSR – not to mention the 55 to 65 million victims of Mao’s Great Leap Forward – might have been justified if this Red utopia had been realised, Hobsbawm muttered in the affirmative.

The maxim is that you should say only good things about the dead. Ok, Eric Hobsbawm’s dead – good. The Commentator has a suitably honest appraisal of Hobsbawm, although it’s a touch unfair on much more pleasant David Irving.

Update: How fitting that Ed Miliband (now there’s a surprise) described Hobsbawm as “a lovely man”, and Tony Blair described him as “a giant of progressive politics”. Yeah, many progressives were happy propagandists for evil.

Mrs Blair, a QC and mother of four, criticised women who “put all their effort into their children” instead of working. Mothers who go out to work are setting a better example for their children, she said.

Apparently it’s the freedom to do what marxist-feminists like Cherie Blair tell them to do.

The Queen’s Birthday Honours List is out. Among the recipients is one April Ashley, the first Briton to have a sex change op –

 – who gets an MBE for something called “services to transgender equality”. Nope, me neither.

I wish April all the best, before everyone piles in. If people want to snip bits off and grow bits on then good luck to them as long as they’re not sticking me with the bill. It’s just that the gongs are supposed to be awarded for services to the nation, and I’m not sure that “transgender equality” is a pressing need. I’m not even sure what “transgender equality” means. But it’ll go down well in Islington salons, and that, no doubt, is why a supposedly conservative government put April’s name on the list..

From the regime so paranoid that most things under the sun are considered “a threat to national security”:

Syrian rebels have held meetings with senior US government officials in Washington as pressure mounts on the US to authorise a shipment of heavy weapons, including surface-to-air missiles to combat the Assad regime, the Daily Telegraph has learned.

But “national security” isn’t so sacrosanct when it’s somewhere else.

A senior Free Syrian Army representative met in the past week at the US State Department with the US ambassador toSyria Robert Ford and Frederick Hoff, special coordinator for the Middle East, sources have confirmed […]

While there remains little appetite for direct western military intervention, the Daily Telegraph has learned that advanced contingency plans are already in place to supply heavy weapons to the rebels, including sophisticated anti-tank weapons and surface to-air-missiles.

What gives Washington the damned right to meddle in the internal affairs of Syria?! This is precisely the kind of thing which the CIA admits results in “blowback” against US forces and citizens, the outcome of which is yet more curtailment of liberties at home – in the name of “national security”.

UK Enrichment News!

Every school in England could be sent free copies of the Koran, Michael Gove has said. The Education secretary said it would be “fantastic” if a rich benefactor would support sending out copies of the Islamic holy text to schools.

Hey Tories, I’d be much obliged if you can do something useful before the next election, like shooting yourselves in the head.

The political left do enjoy closing down debate.

Universities Minister David Willetts was forced to abandon a speech at Cambridge University after it was disrupted by protesters. Mr Willetts was due to speak on the ‘Idea of University’ on Tuesday night. But he was shouted down by about 20 protesters unhappy with the government’s higher education policies. Mr Willetts left the lecture hall and the speech was cancelled. A number of students stayed inside the hall, where they are now staging a sit-in protest.

Academia seems to attract the most moonbat-ish, the most aggressive, the most TENURED of leftists. In this case they demonstrate their intolerance and immaturity by preventing Willetts from speaking. Some of the most stupid people are the best educated.

Marxism truly softens the brain.

Trevor Phillips, Commissar of the state’s Thought Police, has told Christians that they are failing to integrate into modern society.

I sincerely hope not, because the infantile, brutal and intolerant society made by Comrade Phillips and his kind is in dire need of rescue. I suspect that the heart of his complaint is the “failure” of Christians to bend the knee to Left Wing political intimidation instead. Afterall, when you see state and society as one and the same thing your conclusions will be perverted.

Perhaps this stupid man will one day reflect on the kulturkampf against Christianity, tradition and conservatism and make the connection to the society he sees around him.
