And so, the BIG STRIKE by public sector workers looms closer. It is planned for Nov 30th – a day I will be travelling outside the UK.

Civil servants from across Whitehall are being lined up to act as border staff at UK ports and airports during next week’s public sector strikes. Thousands of border agency workers are expected to strike on 30 November in protest at government pension changes. Ministers fear there could be major disruption for travellers, so volunteers are being asked to step in. PCS Union chief Mark Serwotka said ministers were in a “blind panic” and should be resolving the dispute.

I have a solution, inspired by Ronald Reagan. How about we take on board the great unhappiness that afflicts these Border staff, something that makes them so miserable and help them out of their pain…by sacking them. With so many people unemployed, perhaps we should recruit those who are prepared to accept what can be afforded by the taxpayer as opposed to demanded by the trade unions?

Theresa May today faces questions about whether a secret decision taken by Home Office ministers to relax passport checks on foreigners at ports and airports allowed extremists and criminals to enter Britain.

Seems that things may not quite be as Home Secretary Theresa May has suggested.

Home Secretary Theresa May today faces questions about whether a secret decision taken by Home Office ministers to relax passport checks on foreigners at ports and airports allowed extremists and criminals to enter Britain.

Whitehall sources said that in July, Home Office ministers asked officials to draw up a range of measures to cut queues at airports and ports during the summer holiday season.

Damian Green, the immigration minister, then told the UKBA to relax checks on people carrying British passports and those from other European countries.

The order, endorsed by Mrs May, meant that thousands of foreign nationals were able to enter the UK without full checks on their travel documents.

Up until this point, May has claimed she knew nothing about this scandalous abrogation of border controls. If the evidence emerges that her Ministers ordered the relaxation, she will be political toast, and deservedly so.

Why do I not believe a word this Government says about Immigration controls?

“Ministers have discovered that the EU is currently seeking to negotiate deals with Ukraine and north African countries that could result in millions of people being given the right to claim state pensions and benefits in this country.

In an interview with The Daily Telegraph, Chris Grayling, the employment minister, said that the EU had launched a “land grab” and that “pre-emptive action to stop this” was now necessary. “We are not going to be rolled over on this, it’s a hugely sensitive issue,” Mr Grayling said.

Nonsense. Grayling will achieve nothing. The EU seeks to open up its borders, and by logical extension, our borders, to North Africa and Ukraine. You can just imagine the millions that will flood in – all looking for the lovely Welfare – and we ALL know which Nation provides the most generous welfare of all.

It’s a strange world we live in. The head of UK Border control has been suspended because it appears he suspended UK border controls for no-EU Nationals;

Vital border checks for criminals and terrorists were secretly abandoned over the summer. In a major new immigration fiasco, three senior officials – including the £135,000-a-year head of the UK Border Force –  have been suspended.  There are fears that hundreds of thousands of travellers waltzed into Britain without crucial vetting.Unknown to ministers, guards were allegedly told not to bother checking biometric chips on passports of citizens from outside the EU to ensure they are not fraudsters.  More worryingly, staff were also instructed not to bother checking their fingerprints or other personal details against the Home Office’s so-called Warnings Index.

The fact that this could happen, exposing our country to such massive risk, should mean that ALL involved be sacked and then prosecuted for criminal irresponsibility. I have heard the predictable whining that this action was taken “because of cuts”. I say cut the jobs of those who took this decision.

Did you see that  Britain’s population will soar by the equivalent of a city the size of Leeds every year for the next decade, according to  official figures.

Revised statistics show numbers rising at a sustained pace not matched for 100 years. And the main factor behind the increase is immigration. The projections  suggest that, in just over 30  years, Britain will overtake  Germany as the most populous country in Europe. All estimates produced two years ago have been revised heavily upwards in a report published yesterday by the Office for National Statistics. Over the next ten years, the population is expected to rise annually by 491,000. Leeds’s current total is 486,000.

This massive growth in our population is the direct consequence of years of an immigration policy which has in effect turned the UK into welfare central.

3 MILLION people have com here since 1997 and it is these people having children which is increasing our population. In turn this is pressurising the NHS, and having a profound change in our demographics. The multicultists have caused irreparable damage to our Nation and yet they turn round and deny all culpability.

The indigenous UK birth-rate is below replacement level so there is a fundamental change underway and yet the implications of such are not being discussed. Perhaps Tower Hamlets gives us a glimpse into the future. It’s in the middle of our Capital city, London. More than 36% of its inhabitants are Muslim and it has the fastest growing population in London. These facts are not unrelated.

Here’s another example of how perverted the Human Rights Industry really is;

Dr Mohammed Kassim Al-Byati was employed by the Iraqi Intelligence Agency, which was responsible for torturing a number of Iraqis during the dictator’s rule. He has been living in Britain since 2000 and has allegedly worked at a number of NHS hospitals.

In 2007, the UK Border Agency rejected Dr Al-Byati’s claim for asylum after he revealed his part in Saddam Hussein’s brutal regime.

Four years later, it is claimed that immigration officials have been forced to extend his stay in Britain for at least six months as they struggle to deport him.

Iraqi officials have told the UKBA that sending him home would endanger his life,

And if it does, WHY is that our concern? This is an issue for Iraqis, but they are quite happy to try and dodge it.

This torturer-in-chief does not merit retention in the UK. He should be placed on the next cargo flight to Baghdad and let him get on with it. If we accept that any on-the-run convict/criminal can claim the right to stay in the UK on the spurious basis that his home Nation seek to bring him to justice, then we may as well pack up tent  and accept that we have no meaningful control of our borders. Hang on a second..that would seem to be exactly the case and the Coalition has proven as useless as Labour.

First the background;

A thug who carried out horrifying acts of torture for Robert Mugabe escaped jail yesterday – despite earning £151,000 while working illegally in Britain. Phillip Machemedze, 47, was able to work here for seven years as a carer for those with learning disabilities and on a unit dealing with drug and alcohol addicts. There was outrage earlier this year when he was allowed to stay in Britain to protect his human rights. An immigration court in May ruled he must be allowed to stay because he could face mistreatment if sent back to Zimbabwe. Yesterday he admitted breaking immigration rules – but was told he will not be jailed if he volunteers for just half a day a week for the next six months.

This guy SHOULD be sent back on the next boat to Zimbabwe, steerage class. The fact that we give sanctuary to torturers does not make us morally superior or enlightened in any way. It shows we are weak and that weakness is what Machemedza and his ilks exploit daily.

Well I suggest you file this under stating the bleedin’ obvious!

Reports kept under wraps by Labour showing that immigrants who came to Britain from Romania and Bulgaria had low education levels and were more likely to claim out-of-work benefits are to be released for the first time by ministers. The figures are contained in five separate controversial studies commissioned by the last Labour government but never published – amid claims the party wanted to avoid a damaging row about its record before last year’s general election.

Ministers accused Labour of a “disturbing cover up” and promised to publish the reports – which cost the taxpayer a total of £165,000 and have now been seen by The Sunday Telegraph – in full within days.The documents also contain revelations that immigrants from all countries into Britain are more likely to be out of work than the native population – and are less likely to engage in any form of “civic participation.” More than one third of London’s population, moreover, has now been born outside the UK.

I think there is a fundamental misunderstanding here. These reports will have brought a warm glow to Labour whose radical multicultural agenda was aimed at bringing about such perverse demographics.

Here is a remarkable tale of public sector incompetence by ANY standards;

“An illegal immigrant not eligible for NHS healthcare has been staying at a British hospital for more than a year – costing taxpayers £100,000. The unnamed Pakistani national – whose visa to visit the UK expired in September 2007 – is still a patient at Russells Hall Hospital in Dudley, West Midlands, despite being treated and declared fit to be discharged in August 2010. However the hospital has been unable to discharge the man because it is waiting for the UK Border Agency to fix a date with Pakistan International Airlines to transport him back to the country following cardiovascular treatment.”

How difficult is to to pick up the phone to an airline and select a flight? Still, although it has cost £100,000 it’s not as if there is a recession or anything happening….right?

Story Image

For years now the UK  has been a preferred destination for the criminal class who have sought to make a mint out of our open borders.   They often succeed.

“Fraudsters  smuggled a gang of Africans into the UK to carry out a benefits scam that netted a gang at least £1million, immigration officials revealed last night. The suspected ringleader, a 47-year-old Ugandan woman, was arrested in a series of dawn raids yesterday along with seven accomplices.

Officials believe she brought fellow Africans to the country and set them up with false identities specifically to target the welfare state. It is not yet known if the woman is an illegal immigrant but UK Border Agency officers said she was claiming various benefits under four separate identities.

The unnamed woman was found with both British and Ugandan passports. Work is under way to determine her true identity and immigration status. Yesterday, chief immigration officer Jon Bradbourne said the gang’s crimes could be traced back 20 years and involved stealing massive amounts of public money.

I am sure the Human Rights  brigade will be already filing their legal argument that says the un-named people smuggler is a victim herself and that if it is proven that she is an illegal she must stay here in the UK, at our expense.

I would have her placed on the next plane to Uganda, steerage class. We need people like her OUT of this country if we ever are to restore some sort of sanity when it comes to border controls and the rule of law.
