……………numbered amongst the ever-growing crowd of Headless Chickens.

I mean, if our adulterous, lying, scheming, senile-before-the-age-of-thirty Heir-to-the-Throne believes in, and supports the Theory of man-made Climate Change and Global Warming, along with all the other bullsh*t he spouts on about, it is but natural for any thinking person to stand in opposition to this tosser!

Climate Change positives!

It all goes to show, not all climate change stories end badly!

Excellent article here by Chris Booker flagging up the extraordinary dangers we face from an energy policy driven by eco chimeras;

‘As the snow of the coldest March since 1963 continues to fall, we learn that we have barely 48 hours’ worth of stored gas left to keep us warm, and that the head of our second-largest electricity company, SSE, has warned that our generating capacity has fallen so low that we can expect power cuts to begin at any time. It seems the perfect storm is upon us.

The grotesque mishandling of Britain’s energy policy by the politicians of all parties, as they chase their childish chimeras of CO2-induced global warming and windmills, has been arguably the greatest act of political irresponsibility in our history.

‘Three more events last week brought home again just what a mad bubble of make-believe these people are living in. Under the EU’s Large Combustion Plants Directive, we lost two more major coal-fired power stations, Didcot A and Cockenzie, capable of contributing no less than a tenth to our average electricity demands. We saw a French state-owned company, EDF, being given planning permission to spend £14 billion on two new nuclear reactors in Somerset, but which it says it will only build, for completion in 10 years’ time, if it is guaranteed a subsidy that will double the price of its electricity. Then, hidden in the small print of the Budget, were new figures for the fast-escalating tax the Government introduces next week on every ton of CO2 emitted by fossil-fuel-powered stations, which will soon be adding billions of pounds more to our electricity bills every year.

Within seven years this new tax will rise to £30 a ton, and by 2030 to £70 a ton, making it wholly uneconomical to generate any more electricity from the coal and gas-fired power stations that last week were still supplying two thirds of our electricity.’

What does this all mean? One day, soon, the lights will go out. In the meantime, you will pay more,  and all because of a political failure to confront eco-lunacy.

Have a look at the graph to see that scary global warming that means we have to ALL pay more taxes.

“In recent months, even such fanatical proponents of the warmist orthodoxy as Rajendra Pachauri, chairman of the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, James Hansen of Nasa, and the Met Office have all had to concede that since 1997, the warming trend has stalled virtually to a standstill.

Of course, there was a modest temperature rise in the 20th century, as a continuation of the warming that began 200 years ago as the world naturally emerged from those centuries of cooling known as the Little Ice Age. But the 0.5C rise between 1976 and 1998 was no greater than the 0.5C rise between 1910 and 1940 (with 35 years of cooling between them, so that the net rise in the past century has been only 0.8C).

Yet it was on that modest rise in the 1980s and 1990s that the whole of the greatest and most expensive scare in history was launched on its way, with all the terrifying political and economic consequences we see around us today. The very last people to recognise this, alas, will be our politicians, because they seem incapable of looking properly at the evidence. The price we are all increasingly having to pay for their gullibility is incalculable.”

As you know, Green Taxes are just another means of extorting cash from us. The “saving the planet” veneer is window dressing since there can be no connection between taxation and the global climate!

Ministers were accused of saddling consumers with pointless green taxes last night – as new figures revealed surging imports from developing countries that rely on ‘dirty’ power. Successive governments have boasted that a cocktail of green taxes and expensive wind farms has helped to curb carbon dioxide emissions blamed for global warming. But new official figures reveal that Britain’s so-called ‘carbon footprint’ has increased by 20 per cent in the last two decades as we import ever more from developing countries like China that rely on dirty coal-fired power stations.

So, our carbon footprint increases along with out taxes. What to do?

I can already see the lightbulbs going on in the minds of the eco-fantasists. Tax more! Of course. Oh, and turn the lights out!

I have a better idea. How about we forget all about this carbon footprint lunacy, develop a much more comprehensive UK nuclear energy infrastructure and ensure we import as little energy needs as possible?

Major Discovery!

Yes, folks; researchers announce the unveiling of the ‘Bullshit Molecule!

Let me provide you with the headline;

People celebrating the New Year will enjoy higher temperatures than Morocco and Madrid as Britain’s second warmest winter on record ends on a high.

How interesting that the Met Office can provide us with this information. Winter is December, January and February and as I write this we have not even reached the end of December. So I’m wondering how the Met Office is able to make such a claim? January and February earlier this year were marked by Arctic like temperatures across the UK so…….how can the Met declare that this is the “second warmest winter”? Answers on a postcard..

First of all, Guido has the graphs that say it all, really.

But now you can read about another lying cheating Climate Change “scientist” here.

“Indeed Best seems to have worked hard to obscure it. They present data covering more almost 200 years is presented with a short x-axis and a stretched y-axis to accentuate the increase. The data is then smoothed using a ten year average which is ideally suited to removing the past five years of the past decade and mix the earlier standstill years with years when there was an increase. This is an ideal formula for suppressing the past decade’s data.”

The desperation amongst the AGW cultists grows more evident by the day, even as our Planet refuses to behave as they demand!

The door is always open, folks!

The Prime Minister’s obsession with developing Green  jobs seems to have hit a patch of reality.

Green plans to boost renewable energy will destroy up to 30,000 British jobs, according to a hard-hitting report. David Cameron and his ministers have repeatedly claimed that raising green taxes to pay for subsidies for low carbon technologies such as wind farms will boost economic growth and create 70,000 ‘green collar’ jobs.

But that claim has been torpedoed by John Constable, director of the Renewable Energy Foundation, an independent group that studies the green energy industry. He said the Prime Minister’s hopes were ‘staggeringly far-fetched’ and warned that the subsidies will put people on the dole and lead to higher energy prices. Mr Constable studied the EU-wide subsidies and concluded that Spain will generate huge numbers of green jobs while workers and consumers in the UK are hit hard. ‘Green economic policies mean more pain than gain for Britain,’ he concluded. ‘The “green economy” will drain investment from other sectors, making Britons pay more for electricity indefinitely and live less productive lives with access to fewer jobs.’

Well, some of us heretics have been pointing out the lunacy of the pie-in-the-sky Green agenda.  When power is restricted, as prices soar, just remember the folly of Greenism.
