Seems to be Lib-Dem day on ATW but I couldn’t help but notice that Nick Clegg has suggested that we embrace multiculturalism by talking to extremist groups.

Nick Clegg broke with David Cameron over multiculturalism last night as he insisted the Government had to talk to extremist groups. The Deputy Prime Minister also risked controversy by claiming that households that are worried about immigration could be tipped into extremism by the economic downturn. Opening up a split at the top of government, Mr Clegg insisted multiculturalism should be the hallmark of an ‘open, confident society’.

It is surprising that  Mr Clegg still salivates over the failed multiculti experiment and even worse thinks that extremism is best dealt with by talking to it. It is more surprising that such views sit at the heart of a Conservative led government.

  1. Sorry Mr Clegg, but the Mooslimes are pushing “multiculturalism” in the UK for ONE express purpose: Caliphate or The TOTAL Islamic domination of the country.

And the sad part is the Liberal idiots are either too stupid or are “Mooslime Moles” when they announce that the dysfunctional ideology of Islam must be tolerated if there is to be a Society that embraces all cultures.

Yea, Mr Clegg; got late breaking news for ya, that fella who thought he could be palsy-walsy with grizzly bears in Alaska had the same naive liberal addiction.

Fortunately, for the rest of the people on the planet that moron made a good meal for papa, moma and little baby bear……..(burp!)

    Darwin wins again!

  2. >>Nick Clegg broke with David Cameron over multiculturalism last night as he insisted the Government had to talk to extremist groups.<<

If it continues like this they'll soon be talking to the TUV.

  3. “extremism is best dealt with by talking to it.”

With the proviso that said extremits are from anywhere but the UK.

As we are repeatedly told by our ‘lefty’ commenters, both here on ATW, and by the media, – ‘The likes of the BNP and the EDL, are extremists, quite disgusting, and are beneath contempt’ – and far from being ‘talked to’, are virtually banned from any public discussion, via any form of our media, unless it is to pour scorn and contempt on them. Variously branded as ‘fascists and Nazi’s’, they are definitely persona non grata!

Now it seems that the brands of imported extremists, whether Islamic, or whatever, are far more dangerous, disgusting and beneath contempt than anything ‘home produced’, – perhaps if our politicians applied the same standards to the BNP, our home grown so-called, extremists, and cared to talk to them, they may come to realise that ‘our extremists’ are perhaps no so extreme as they imagine, and by comparison with the self-exploding or bomb planting variety, are quite tame.

Only politicians could make a virtue out of such extreme hypocrisy.

  4. Let’s back the bus up here.

The Deputy Prime Minister also risked controversy by claiming that households that are worried about immigration could be tipped into extremism by the economic downturn.

Because patriotism, self-determination and a desire to preserve your culture for your ancestors is “extremist” to the Marxoid weirdos who control discourse today. Aye, in the mind of these oddballs, decalring what would have required no explanation to almost all Britons is now equated with Dark Age, islamist terror.

Well, let’s remember what he is; despite being an ex-employee of Brussels, Clegg is a man who, in keeping with all ex-employees of Brussels, will always work for the foreign power and betray his country.

I’d be miffed if my kind weren’t regarded as extremists by his kind.
