  2. Listen to this, to get an idea of the calibre of the minds behind this measure

“This bill … requires human sexuality instruction or instructional programs to teach and stress … the importance of abstinence from all sexual activity before marriage and fidelity after marriage as the only sure methods for preventing certain communicable diseases”

Many people who also believed this nonsense would now differ with the good senator – if they could only speak from the grave.

  3. Excellent news. It gladdens my heart to note that at least one American state is following the example set by Muslim and African countries.

    Praise be.

  4. Richard Clinton –

You have a problem with muslim and African ways?

  5. OK so the best way to prepare children to deal with sex and sexuality in adult life is to not teach them anything about it. Great, Why not follow that same logic and drop all lessons in all subjects, send the kids home then sit back and watch them magically emerge into adulthood as knowledegable highly skilled geniuses.

  6. Ah, but Colm, you see, sex is BAAAAD.

It is when you do it right 😉

  8. Colm –

Yes, it’s best not to sexualise children. These are matters best left for when they are older and mature enough to handle adult matters. Have you not noticed that the more the State sexualises children, robs them of their innocence and instructs them in how to have sex, the higher the rate of child pregnancies, STDs and abortions there is?

Goodness, I do wonder how people think human civilisation coped for thousands of years until 1960s radicals started teaching children how to have it off.
