Good News! Abu Hamza is feeling unwell.

Terror suspect Abu Hamza al-Masri’s health has worsened and he should not be extradited to the US before a scan, his lawyer has told the High Court. Abu Hamza is among five men asking judges to grant an injunction against their extradition from the UK.

Desperate stuff . Put him on the next cargo plane – in the hold.

  1. How is it that the entire legal process from the lowest judge right up to the Grand Chamber of the European Court can over several years minutely examine this case and ALL branches of the law agree to the extradition only for a single high court judge to be allowed to discard all that and issue a fresh injuction. It is an absolute farce and a whole mockery of the process of law. They should have been put on a plane the very moment the highest appeal was dismissed.

  2. I’m sure our US cousins would take very good care of him. They would ven be able to scan him – not just for medical reasons but in case he has packed too much!

  3. Perhaps we could get one of the Scottish physicians who examined the Lockerbie bomber to look this guy over, to set the stage for a compassionate release scam.

  4. Phantom,

Yes I agree he should be compassionately released… into the welcome arms of Uncle Sam 🙂

  5. If he’s feeling poorly I suggest he be sent to a supermax pronto, where his new mate Bubba can administer his pork enema daily.

    That’ll perk him up.

  6. I detest this nutcase as much as the next Englishman, and I would argue that him and his ilk ought never to have been allowed into the UK in the first place.
But, given that he’s here, and *assuming* (I could be wrong there) that he has broken no specific UK law, then I will not allow myself to scream “extradite him!” just like that, merely because I detest all that he stands for. If he has broken any UK laws, let him be tried accordingly. If he is found to be an illegal alien, then sure, let him be deported back from whence he came. But by all means, let the law be applied.
But let the ancient treason laws also be applied most vigorously unto the traitorous scumshite Labour gov’t who deliberately allowed him and his kind into the UK in the first place.

  7. Tom – the ‘Conservatives’ are every bit as treasonous as Labour. They are the two faces of the Establishment.

  8. Tom

My point was purely about the farcical situation by which an appeals process can run all the way up to the European court only to have a single High court Judge able to overturn all the previous decisions made by higher authorities. How can that be allowed to happen regardless of the topic of extradition ?

  9. Remember the Iraqi plane bomber, an IRA terrorist here in Northern Ireland, the Price sister currently up on terrorist charges and now this hook hand lunatic….all taking ill when facing the consequences of their actions. I’d dope him, put him in a trunk and into the hold of an plane. If he didn’t survive, it would ensure the USA wouldn’t have to spend money on keeping him in jail. Then I’d deport his family to their homeland, as they have been living on British welfare money for years, just like Hook Hand!

And not forgetting that ‘frail old gentleman’ Agosto Pinochet. Y’know, the one that Maggie said shouldn’t be extradited, the one who ‘brought democracy’ to Chile?

“Pinochet was not extradited for humanitarian reasons, when there were dozens of Europeans and thousands of Latin Americans who were murdered, and tens of thousands of people were tortured during the Pinochet dictatorship,”
