Without borders that we reinforce, we are not a Nation, merely a destination. Increasingly it is obvious that our Nationhood slips away from us…

“MPs say the UK Border Agency’s attempts to clear a massive backlog of cases could become an amnesty for immigrants with no right to be in the UK. Keith Vaz, who chairs the Home Affairs Committee, said the backlog was almost equivalent to Iceland’s population and spiralling out of control…”

So, we absorb the equivalent of Iceland’s entire population without much of a whimper, just let ’em in and to hell with the consequences. Vaz, of course, has some nerve.  After all it was HIS party, Labour, which when in Government from 97-2010 took the active decision to radically change the UK demographic. His crocodile tears mean nothing. We see the consequences of demographic change in the USA, but the UK is changing just as fast,

  1. As much as I try to lower my bile levels, surely now some must agree, that none of this ‘Immigration’ shambles is by accident?

  2. Harri,
You’re starting to sound like McTatters of Aberdeen.
    Stop it!
It is a process that has been repeated many times in European history. Interestingly less so in other cultures. The Chinese and the Japanese and the Africans seem to have maintained a more defined cultural/tribal identity. India has had more of a mix up of races and religions but unlike Europe where various shades of Christianity have been dominant in the last two thousand years.

  3. Agit.

India, now correct me if i am wrong, but with there caste system, are they not one of the most racist nations on earth?

And, just how many more immigrant ‘amnesties’ can the infrastructure of Britain take !

  4. Harri,
That is Hinduism, the main faith. They also have minorities like Jainism, Islam, Buddhism, Zoroastrianism, Sikhism, Christianity and Judaism.

  5. Harri.

I’ve worked in India a few times. Like all the places I’ve been to the majority of the population are decent and friendly. However, as you pointed out, due to the caste system, I was suppressed at the level of racism.

  6. Sorry Colm, this happens a lot. I’m quite badly dyslexic, so if the spell checker accepts it, chances are I’ll miss it. Still, it hasn’t held back my IT career too much. 🙂

  7. Dave,
” Still, it hasn’t held back my IT career too much. :)”

    You’re an Ixtra Terrestrial?!!

  8. It is a process that has been repeated many times in European history.

When did a European country import hundreds of thousands of 3rd-worlders annually by aircraft to the extent that the host, indigenous population became a minority in the metropolitan areas of the country and then became an absolute minority within a couple of generations?
