I’m Pro-Choice but this is about Murder.

I’m pro-choice. I always have to explain that when I say it. Life begins at conception it is a human being the instant the sperm fertilizes the egg. When a woman gets an abortion she is killing a baby she is not discarding some mass forming cells. Now that being said I have known several woman over my life that have had abortions, it has scarred them all in one way or another. Yet each would more than not do it again because of the circumstances that they were in when the pregnancy occurred.

I do not have the moral authority to judge those woman, only god does.

The legalization of abortion was a direct response to stop the conditions that have occurred in this case. This is worst than a coat hanger in an alley somewhere. This man was performing late term abortions and murdering the babies that made it out of the womb. The left want this case buried because it shows the truth of abortions after the first trimester, and they can not allow that truth to be shown. It will damage one of the keystones of their party.

Philly was my home, Pa is still my state and has the death penalty (even though it isn’t used) but after this trial, any sentence that this man gets will be death sentence if he is placed in general population. This story shows the true heart of the left and what they hold sacred, so of course those seats for the press are empty.

Kirsten Powers writes in USA Today:

Philadelphia abortion clinic horror: Column

We’ve forgotten what belongs on Page One.

Infant beheadings. Severed baby feet in jars. A child screaming after it was delivered alive during an abortion procedure. Haven’t heard about these sickening accusations?

It’s not your fault. Since the murder trial of Pennsylvania abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell began March 18, there has been precious little coverage of the case that should be on every news show and front page. The revolting revelations of Gosnell’s former staff, who have been testifying to what they witnessed and did during late-term abortions, should shock anyone with a heart.

NBC-10 Philadelphia reported that, Stephen Massof, a former Gosnell worker, “described how he snipped the spinal cords of babies, calling it, ‘literally a beheading. It is separating the brain from the body.” One former worker, Adrienne Moton, testified that Gosnell taught her his “snipping” technique to use on infants born alive.

Massof, who, like other witnesses, has himself pleaded guilty to serious crimes, testifiedIt would rain fetuses. Fetuses and blood all over the place.” Here is the headline the Associated Press put on a story about his testimony that he saw 100 babies born and then snipped: “Staffer describes chaos at PA abortion clinic.”

Not news if it’s not covered. Empty seats
for news media at trial.

Powers goes on to describe how barely a word of this trial and the horror behind it have become news in the so-called “mainstream” media. Seats specially reserved for the news media at the trial are vacant. Nothing written or spoken about the case in much of the national media.

Powers concludes “The deafening silence of too much of the media, once a force for justice in America, is a disgrace.” You got that right honey! It’s been that way for YEARS!

Hat Tip Mikes America.

  1. Troll, you are a mass of contradictions. Much of what you state above I agree with but how can you claim;

When a woman gets an abortion she is killing a baby

And yet hope that some children are blown to bits?

I do not have the moral authority to judge those woman

Absolutely, no one does. Particularly not men.

  2. The relative lack of coverage of this story- a doctor who was also a serial killer of babies- is extraordinary. It does look as though the media is playing down the story due to the connections to abortion.

  3. Paul, I’m not a mass of contradictions, you just lack the understanding of context.

Ross, the media isn’t down playing it they have blacked it out as much as possible. Read what you can find on this story some are writing about it, just not the MSM.

This is a horror story that should be page one as the Liberal Kirsten Powers points out, yet it is the people and the policies that she supports that have condoned this both the events that occurred and the keeping it as quit as possible.

  4. Paul, I’m not a mass of contradictions, you just lack the understanding of context

    Please elaborate.

  5. no

I’m just not going to pursue conversation that has no purpose but to cause a sideshow.

You just keep comfy in your fog about what you call my contradictions.

    Have a nice day.

  6. Troll, you are a mass of contradictions. You have advocated the bombing of children, the death penalty, regardless of the possibility of innocents being killed, and you are a champion of perhaps the greatest harbinger of innocent deaths – war.

If you can’t or won’t see the contractions in you being a cheerleader for all the above and yet castigating ‘the left’ for allegedly wanting ‘this case buried because it shows the truth of abortions after the first trimester’ then that’s okay just don’t be surprised when others call you out on it.

    Have a nice day

    Thank you. You too.

  7. Troll –

Well said. It’s mass infanticide. You see things like this and those empty benches, and you must conclude that when free speech is threatened the press has no moral right to complain.

  8. Your second link re Stephen Massof was absolutely awful, sickening.
I personally think a baby is not a baby until it is recognisable as a baby -however small.
Then I think in the case of rape a woman has the right to a termination
or if the baby is so badly deformed or genetically damaged that it will live an unhappy/uncomfortable/unknowing/totally dependent life.

Having said that I think abortion is now wildly out of control, and imo it is men putting pressure on women that has led to this. I think (I don’t know), that many women grieve or feel guilt for having an abortion. I think it dehumanizes us all when we treat the process so casually, and has knock on effects in the way we treat and regard women and children. Perhaps the increase in the cruelty and sexual abuse of women and children is linked to this.

  9. imo it is men putting pressure on women that has led to this. I think (I don’t know), that many women grieve or feel guilt for having an abortion

Agi, I know a few women that have had abortions and in each of the cases the decision to terminate was never taken lightly and was only reached after weeks of tears and emotional confusion.

Incidentally, while there were various differing factors in the four cases I know of one constant factor was being able to financially support a child. I wonder if some people here feel these women should be commended for making an extremely difficult decision and being responsible regarding their individual financial responsibilities?

  10. Hi Troll,
    Welcome back!
I’ve seen this story in the NY Daily News and could not make it through the whole story…it turned my stomach and haunts me everytime I’ve reminded of it. Just thinking about it is too much. To be honest, I’ve never clicked on another story about it. I can’t. It’s just too horrific and I’m someone who enjoys reading about sociapaths and the like. This sorry excuse for a man should have been arrested long ago. I hope he receives a life sentence without parole.

  11. Paul – do you know any women who contemplated having an abortion who then did not proceed to have the abortion?

Did any of them regret not having had the abortion?

  12. Do you know any women who contemplated having an abortion who then did not proceed to have the abortion?

Yes They were all non white women.

  13. Paul,
My point was that the way we humans are designed – or accidentally configured by Convolution – to work together; male and female.
In the conceiving and rearing of children a woman needs the support of a man, just as a man needs a woman. We are incomplete one without the other. It doesn’t mean we can’t cope on our own or that some aren’t more comfortable single, but generally speaking it’s much harder and far less satisfying.

  14. I don’t know Agi. Only one of the cases I speak of above was not in a committed long – term relationship so whilst I agree with the general male and female thing that support being there doesn’t necessarily garuntee that a woman won’t have a termination. As I said, there are many factors which influence the decision.

  15. I don’t argue with you there Paul. Life is full of things that go wrong or we do wrong. Grief can be a terrible wound and guilt can cripple you.

Our vicar was talking today about Simon Peter and the guilt he felt about betraying his Lord. Jesus Himself had to tell him that he was forgiven and then gave him a new role. To feed His lambs..

  16. Life is full of things that go wrong

People who condemn women out of hand for having abortions should be careful.

Ask not for whom the bell tolls. It tolls for thee.

  17. I think it was wrong of Troll to use this horrible case to claim rather lazily and oh so predictable that this is the result of what the left want and that is why the media is supposedly censoring it . Abortion is one of those topics that it is virtually impossible to debate rationally but it doesn’t help to make false and sweeping generalisations or to hijack a event like this to attempt to score a political point.

  18. “People who condemn women out of hand for having abortions should be careful.”

Absolutely not being funny Paul, but why?
My faith keeps reminding me not to judge lest I be judged. But that is from the point of view of eternity. What do you mean when you say that?

  19. Absolutely not being funny Paul, but why

Because those that do may one day have a sister, wife, daughter etc in a similar situation.

  20. Colm,

“I’m Pro-Choice but this is about Murder.

I think perhaps the Troll is pointing out what he sees as a decision by the msm to hush up an uncomfortable case involving a man abusing his position as a doctor performing abortions.

  21. I think perhaps the Troll is pointing out what he sees as a decision by the msm to hush up an uncomfortable case involving a man abusing his position as a doctor performing abortions

I think he’s using the media’s disinterest in this sad issue to tr to score political points using the paranoid notion that if they’re disinterested then they must be ‘lefties’ whatever that is. Do the US not have media with a right – wing slant? If so where are they? Are they also complicit in this left – wing media conspiracy?

    Paul (9:27)
    Got you

    ?

  22. Paul,

“Because those that do may one day have a sister, wife, daughter etc in a similar situation.”

It’s not just that. They should get their own house in order first.

Almost always the people who complain the loudest about women having abortions are far less moral than they are, have far worse reasons, and regret and guilt never even crosses their minds. Still, many that everybody agrees are children are dead now that wouldn’t be if they themselves had made different, more difficult, choices.

Re the story, it was covered when it broke about 2 years ago, and it’s ‘the left’ that is pushing it now. Kirsten Powers linked above is a well known Democrat FFS. Perhaps the conservative media is so silent because they don’t want people reminded what illegal abortion looks like, or that it is, in fact, already illegal and prosecuted.

Colm as has been pointed out I am pro-choice.

My post is not lazy and I use it for nothing except to point out the truth.

The left holds abortion as it’s keystone issue. It is their rock of commonality of all their other issues, every group and faction of the Democrat party is in lockstep with their stance on abortion or they are excommunicated from their non-theist church of progressive liberalism. Ask members of the Democrat party that were barred from speaking at their conventions because they were pro-life.

Nothing I put forth is false in any way or is it to score points.

This was a government regulated clinic in one of the poorest areas of Philly. It was fulfilling Margaret Sangers dream of the elimination of the inferior and unworthy.

Abortion at any stage is the murder of a child. After the first trimester it can not be hidden that you are killing a living child. This story shines the antiseptic Light of TRUTH on that FACT with explicit testimony of all the gory details.

One of the doctors said he took part in over 100 cases where children that were born alive then had their spines severed at the base of the skull.

This is the foundational block that the Democrat party is built on, ask them they would rather praise abortion at their party conventions while at the same time they boo and jeer at the mention of God.

The MSM are burying this story because they support abortion at any stage, that is as long as it’s kept out of sight and the infanticide that it is can be hidden by smooth terms and phrases. This story can’t be highlighted, It is the horror of what the left hold as their gospel. and therefore ignored. If it isn’t reported on it isn’t worth talking about.

The so called guardians of truth (The Press) are anything but.

  24. I have trouble accepting the credibility of these shock reports. I question the agenda of those who make these claims.

  25. Non partisan source? Really? Quoting Biblical stuff?

I’d hazard it has more in common with ‘Genuine Roswell Alien Autopsy’ footage than Mr Reality.

In any event I think the dead hand of the state doesn’t belong in the womens knickers private area. Abortion works pretty well here in the UK under our rules.

  26. The story, and the media’s failure to report on it, was on the news this morning. Apparently, the newspaper USA Today had an article similar to Troll’s post last week asking why the horrific story hadn’t reveived more media attention.

If you use Google News and do a search a ton of stories will come up now…and many, like The Atlantic aske the same question Troll does: Why Dr. Kermit Gosnell’s Trial Should Be a Front-Page Story?
The dead babies. The exploited women. The racism. The numerous governmental failures. It is thoroughly newsworthy.
    http://www.theatlantic.com/national/archive/2013/04/why-dr-kermit-gosnells-trial-should-be-a-front-page-story/274944/

I don’t see the world through left/right eyes (well, I do physically, of course;-P~) as Troll does but his base question: where is the media coverage? deserves some contemplation.

  27. Dogis,
Noone in their right mind would ascribe ulterior motives to posting stuff like that. I didn’t watch past the first image. Honestly it turns my stomach and I can’t imagine what a little one’s last moments must be like before they go into the bucket..
It’s a bit like someone saying,
“well six million didn’t die. It was only four – or three – or two million..”

  28. “Over four decades (Since 1967) the rate of abortion has increased dramatically. In 2010 there were 196,000 abortions in England and Wales. In Scotland there were over 13,000 abortions. Since the Abortion Act received Royal assent in October 1967 there have been over six million legal abortions performed in the UK—the number is currently running well over 200,000 thousand per year. This means that on an average weekday around 700 legal abortions are performed in National Health Service (NHS) hospitals and private abortion clinics around the country.

Most abortions (91%) are carried out at under 13 weeks gestation. Such is the cold, calculating approach of the British Government that it had a national target to increase the percentage of NHS funded abortions undertaken before 10 weeks gestation to fifty percent. To help achieve this target the Department of Health allocated special funds to improve access to abortion services. This target has been met and by 2010 three-quarters of abortions were under 10 weeks. A new feature of the abortion scene is the large increase in the number of medical abortions procured with abortifacient drugs, increasing from 12% in 2000 to 43% a decade later.

In 2010, well over a thousand abortions were done at 22 weeks and over, of which 70% were preceded by a feticide (see below), and a further 25% by a method whereby the foetal heart is stopped as part of the procedure. One hundred and forty seven abortions were done later than 24 weeks gestation.

To coin a well known colloquialism; what absolute bollocks.

Perhaps you missed both Frank’s & my comments?
