Things are going badly for the West’s pet islamists, butchers and cannibals in Syria. Sorry, I mean “the rebels”.

Syria: Assad forces take control of Qusayr in major breakthrough

The Syrian army has seized control of the strategic border town of Qusayr, in a major breakthrough for Bashar al-Assad’s forces.

What a remarkable coincidence then, for the old colonial power, France, to discover that Assad’s regime has been using Sarin gas. This is the second time that the “rebels'” sponsors have made the accusation. Maybe the UN will again contradict the claims by stating, as before, that the “rebels” were guilty of using sarin nerve agent.

The BBC has been at the forefront of anti-Assad propaganda. Beware anything it reports on Syria.

  1. Glad you haven’t fallen for the crude, blatant propaganda of those servile Western politicians, Pete Moore.

Of course the ‘game changer’ or puppet-master in this instance is the vast Israeli lobby group trying to install a pro-Sunni government in Syria, thereby clearing the way for an assault on all things Shia.
From Israel’s point of view this makes sense, but for the rest of the world it will be disastrous.

  2. Wassn’t it France that spread a pack of lies re WMD’s in Iraq? which resulted in an unjustified war.

Makes me wonder just what their game is, and they do have a reputation for troublemaking.

  3. Bernard,

I have disagree with your conclusion/ I fail to see how instigating such a conflict in the ME would be to Israels benefit.

  4. NATO member countries are being *leant on* Ernesto.
    Israel is not a member.

    Don’t agree.
Israel may be the most cohesive, liberal and militaristically advanced power in the region, but there are limits as to what she can do.
She has neither the resources nor the landmass to risk a major incursion into any of her neighbours (remember Lebanon 1982).
In my opinion Israel’s priority first, last and always is security.
So far she has managed to maintain a non-aggressive relationship with Egypt and Jordan. She worries about Iran. She may be grateful for the relief afforded by the problems in Iraq, Syria, Egypt and now Turkey, but she can never be complacent.

Incidentally isn’t it rather ironic how the world’s press (usually so hysterical and shrill about any imagined Israeli outrage),
are strangely muted when it comes to some of the horrors committed in these Islamic nations? Little boys being encouraged to decapitate soldiers, massacres of women and children, mutilations and the use of sarin gas.

Oh yes they report it; but completely without condemnation or outrage or condemnation at these horrific and barbarous acts.

No, that’s all kept in reserve for Israel… 🙂

Hmmmmm that sounds like a bit of a MOPE.

Are you not confused between the world’s media reporting atrocities in the news, (it’s job), and also reporting condemnations of those atrocities in the news? (also it’s job)

  7. No Paul,
    I aint.
YOU proved that in our last round when you went on about Israeli atrocities.
Ain’t heard a peep out of you or Petr or Pete or Mahons about what’s been going on in those oppressed lands of “peaceful” Islam.

Now before you shout “whataboutery!” this is reality. No Israelis involved.
Then you got this lovely clip..

Yet YOU got all outraged about some poor Palestinian children killed by an Israeli tank shell…
Not to mention that BARBARIC practice of circumcision (but only the Jewish version..)

As I recall the kernal of the thread in question was invoking the Holocaust as justification for Israeli atrocities before you attempted to pull it off on a tangent with ‘Yeah, but look at what them Muzzies are doing’?

    I also told you that I would comment on the atrocities that you referred to when a thread was put up on the subject and now that you have posted some links let me make myself absolutely crystal clear;

I absolutely and utterly condemn the barbaric inhumanities with no equivocation whatsoever

    And, it seems that I’m not the only one in the business of condemning atrocities. From that bastion of right – wing sentiment The Guardian;

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2012/feb/07/syria-russia-un-veto

    That kinda discredits your MOPEish

    Doesn’t it?

    Oh dear, yet another untruth.

I recall I also spoke about the practice of African tribal scarification and female circumcision genital mutilation as being as barbaric as ritual non medical necessity baby mutilation circumcision?

If you’d like to contest any of the above rather than go around that particular mulberry bush again I could just repost the links to the threads again.
