Ms. Hickox is a Nurse that was treating Ebola patients in W Africa. She is currently symptom free of the disease. She is however refusing to abide by the 21 day quarantine that she is being placed in.  This sweet caring lady that sacrificed her time and comfort by putting herself at risk treating the poor and suffering of W Africa cares nothing for her fellow Americans. If she did she wouldn’t be putting them at risk, and she is doing just that.

She keeps claiming that the Quarantine is unscientific and unconstitutional.  It is both, quarantines work and they have been used many times in our nations history.  They have even been used on less deadly diseases like Chicken Pox, and Measles. The current strain of Ebola has a 70% kill ratio.  Only 3 out of 10 survive once infected it takes 21-42 days to show symptoms, if you have the disease you start becoming contagious during that time. The disease is not a germ that quickly dies outside the human host, it can live on the surface of something an infected person touched for months. Yet this Angel of Mercy cares nothing for those facts.

She insists that she can be trusted to “self evaluate” herself. That the state has no right to impose upon this Angel of Mercy. We do have an example of how well these doctor and nurses without borders can be trusted.

Ebola doctor ‘lied’ about NYC travels

The city’s first Ebola patient initially lied to authorities about his travels around the city following his return from treating disease victims in Africa, law-enforcement sources said.

Dr. Craig Spencer at first told officials that he isolated himself in his Harlem apartment — and didn’t admit he rode the subways, dined out and went bowling until cops looked at his MetroCard the sources said.

“He told the authorities that he self-quarantined. Detectives then reviewed his credit-card statement and MetroCard and found that he went over here, over there, up and down and all around,” a source said.

Spencer finally ’fessed up when a cop “got on the phone and had to relay questions to him through the Health Department,” a source said.

Officials then retraced Spencer’s steps, which included dining at The Meatball Shop in Greenwich Village and bowling at The Gutter in Brooklyn.

The Doctors behavior is more honest than the Nurse’s.  This Angel of Mercy could very well become an Angel of Death, but hey how dare we want precautions to be taken.

I hope Ms. Hickox remains symptom free, if not she will likely infect others.  I wonder if anyone that then dies from her actions will look at her with the warmth and care that she is demanding?

UPDATE:  For SPITE  this Angel defies everyone’s protocol and….

Quarantined Ebola nurse takes cops for a ride: She defies orders to stay at home and goes for a cycle as police follow in car

She even shook the idiot reporters hand. Now the odds that this moment of Fame Harlot actually comes down with anything are slim. The quarantine protocol is the public safety barrier which to the public she says “Fuc* You” by her actions.  My only wish is that if she does become symptomatic we say the same thing to her in regards to treating her.
We wouldn’t, but we should.

  1. She’s a fool. She’s not concerned about the citizens of her own country and should she be infectious and someone catches the disease from her she’ll be sued for millions. With her lack of care for others, I’m surprised that she was any use in Africa, certainly not the attitude that I’d expect of any nurse treating me.

  2. She was caring for ebola patients for a month.

I read that she’s a plant working with the Obama Admin. to test state rights v. federal indicts.

  3. I don’t think she’s an Obama plant per se but I do think the legal community will (and IMO) jump on this opportunity to decide how far states can go in quarantining returnees. In this case, it looks like Obama wants to limit federal gov’ts control (AKA known as big gov’t)–a more conservative position in the scheme of things. This scenario has been played out in the legal world since the beginning of the US—it reflects the checks and balances. The question is unsettled. I still think she’s a bit of a media sponger but hell…someone has to be the test case.
