obama1-compressedOne of the things that has stopped a Nuclear Arms Race in the Middle East is even though it has been suspected and assumed to be true that Israel had Nuclear Weapons the Israeli’s never admitted they did.

That fact actually worked to help prevent other nations from making the case to openly pursue a Nuclear Weapons Program. It is actually a subterfuge that benefited all sides.  Despite the hate of Israel and the continual attacks against it. None of the Arab States felt threatened by an Israeli bomb. Instead they were more worried if another Arab Nation had the Bomb which they viewed as a real threat.

Watching the ME burn as it is today while Sunni and Shia kill each other to see who will lead the fight to kill the rest of us you can see why they as a group preferred never to go down that path.

Then comes President Obama, his hate for Israel and his desperation for a legacy.  Last Monday Obama had the Secret Files on the Israeli Nuclear program declassified. Betraying an Ally.

He did so because his “Deal” with Iran guarantees them the development of a Nuclear Bomb.  By releasing this information he has provided Iran the groundwork for defending their development of a Bomb.

This move by the Obama Regime puts all the Middle Eastern Nations into an Open Arms Race, and one step closer to an Israeli War.

  1. What a joke! You think Barack should show bibi more respect and loyalty then bibi is showing Barack?

Are you sure you are amurican?

  2. // Betraying an Ally.//

We know, because Netanyahu told us in the US Congress, that America has no better friend in the world than Israel, which always respects, trusts and helps its American friend.

After all, Britain, Canada or Australia never helped the US out when it needed a hand in its wars.

  3. no one ever helped us Noel. we have let the rest of you play second string on OUR team to let you feel of value 🙂

  4. Troll is more Israeli than any actual Israelis

He dances the hora and prays to Bibi every Friday night

  5. How does Israel help the US?
How many US taxpayers (including Troll) bankroll the state of Israel to the tune of $5 billion every year?
Every god-damn US citizen who pays into the IRS.

  6. No I’m an American
As an American I believe in the honor of our commitment a duty el Duce has decided on his own to no longer honor
    He has disgraced us all

  7. Israel has always mainained plausible deniability concerning any nuclear capability. As a non-signatory to the NPT they are not required to disclose what nuclear assets are in their possession.

This report was declassified in early February supposedly in response to a Freedom of Information Act request three years ago. Its an old outdated document but no doubt will appeal to the likes of Grant F. Smith.

Having disclosed the world’s most unclosest-kept, unsecret, for mere spiteful political payback Obama has shown his true coloiurs.

In response to US aid to Israel a small amount are straight out endowments, a larger percentage being Loan Guarantees, the bulk however, is not the free monies as most scream about, but is proscribed to US purchases only. This results in shared technology, intelligence, and superior defense systems. You know all that stuff you couldn’t knock up in your garage, even with the reduced taxes that a smaller Foreign Funding Bill might bring.

Meanwhile countries such as Egypt and non country UNWRA get a free pass. Why is that?, Withdrawing aid to Israel (Israel did request a downgrade in 2009) would result in a further economic blow to the US economy.

  8. //Having disclosed the world’s most unclosest-kept, unsecret//

    I agree. It’s pretty useless.

He should hit them at the UN.

Why does Israel refuse to sign the NPT? Why is Israel ALLOWED not to sign the NPT?

  10. Why does Israel refuse to sign the NPT? Why is Israel ALLOWED not to sign the NPT?

We all know it’s because the Jews are all a hard done by, and persecuted people 😉

  11. oferpitysakes

India, Pakistan, and North Korea are also non signatories, although North Korea only withdrew in 2003.

It is NOT a mandatory requirement. Each country decides what is in its own best

Now here’s a question. Why does Iran not adhere to the requirements of a treaty
they voluntarily signed. Like NK they could just withdraw.

  12. Anna it’s nice to see I am not the only person that sees the problem here.

    Thank You

  13. // Why does Iran not adhere to the requirements of a treaty

Anabel, why does Israel not adhere to the requirements of an organisation it voluntarily joined?

It could simply withdraw from the UN.

  14. Noel

There is not one UNSC resolution that Israel has breached.

General Assembly opinions are just that, opinions and are not enforceable under any UN treaty obligations.

I’ve seen your troubles, and sympathise.

  15. //I’m afraid that’s just not true Annabel://

Indeed, Israel is also in blatant and continued breach of the Geneva Convention, a treaty from which Israel could also withdraw if it were to be as honest as people would like Iran to be.

  16. the UN is a cesspool, when you have a group of nations whose laws say you can rape and then stone a woman to death because she got raped pass resolutions saying Israel is the worlds leader in abusing the rights of women they prove exactly what they are. A pack of assholes and your the sheep bowing to them.

  17. The UN does some good things but the criticisms here are entirely valid.

It is interesting that many in Europe still see it as an admirable organization while few Americans do

  18. Do remember it’s not personal…it’s just what he does.

He’s betrayed Israel a US friend.
He’s betrayed the UK – another close US friend.

He’s sucking up to Iran – a sworn US ‘Death to Uhmerica’ state.

Anyone see a pattern here? Nuanced my Aunt Fanny. Man’s a menace.

  19. Mind you his Golf Handicap must be in single figures by now…..so that’s nice.

Yes I knew I’d be in trouble over that, but that Ha’aretz article fails to differentiate a very important point, which Chapters these breaches fall under. If under Chapter VI a settlement is not reached, did both parties breach or none.

Resolutions adopted under Chapter VI of the UN_Charter – Recommending “Pacific Resolution of Dispute”:
Resolutions the Security Council adopts under Chapter VI are intended to be followed and implemented via negotiated settlements between concerned parties. One of the UN resolutions adopted under Chapter VI of the UN Charter is Resolution 242, adopted after the 1967 Six-Day War. It calls on Israel and its Arab neighbours to accept the resolution through negotiation, arbitration and conciliation. Under Chapter VI of the UN Charter, the recommendations of UN Resolution 242 cannot be imposed on the parties concerned, as Arab leaders often argue. In fact, the title of Chapter VI also offers a clue to its nature, for it deals with “Pacific Resolution of Disputes.”

Resolutions adopted under Chapter VII of the UN Charter – Dealing with the “Threats to Peace …”:
In contrast, resolutions adopted by the Security Council under Chapter VII invest the Security Council with power to issue stringent resolutions that require nations to comply with the terms and directives set forth in the resolution. This leaves no room to negotiate a settlement with the affected parties. Thus, Chapter VII deals with “Threats to Peace, Breaches of the Peace and Acts of Aggression.”

Then there are the frivolous ones.

Res. 250 (Apr. 27, 1968) – Considers “that the holding of a military parade in Jerusalem will aggravate tensions in the area and have an adverse effect on a peaceful settlement of the problems in the area” and “Calls upon Israel to refrain from holding the military parade in Jerusalem which is contemplated” for May 2, 1968.
Res. 251 (May 2, 1968) – Recalls resolution 250 and “Deeply deplores the holding by Israel of the military parade in Jerusalem” on May 2, 1968 “in disregard of” resolution 250.

Good grief, Jewish soldiers in Jerusalem. Hadrian would get his toga in a twist.

General Kofi Anan admitted that Israel is often unfairly judged by the international body and its various organizations. “On one side, supporters of Israel feel that it is harshly judged by standards that are not applied to its enemies,” Annan said. “And too often this is true, particularly in some UN bodies.”

    Whatever could he mean.

Unfortunately its after midnight here so I’ll see you round the ridges.

  21. Thanks for the rely Annabel.

Now you and I can debate point by point using the semantics, vagueness and various interpretations which may exist in the report in an elongated discussion which will probably have an inconclusive ending.

    To save that;

Wouldn’t the fact that Israel has been condemned on various UNSC resolutions by the very organisation which drafted them suggest that your comment is untrue?
