It’s all very well for UK PM Rishi Sunak and Chancellor Jeremy Hunt to hike taxes across the board but this is entirely incompatible with a growing economy. SO come the likely 2024 general election, the electorate will be poorer than ever and so very unlikely to return a Conservative Government. Sunak must realise this very real possibility so WHY is he pursuing scorched earth policies?
