Gordon Brown and David Miliband will sign the EU Constitution*, in Lisbon, on 13th December. On 20th November the following exchange took place in the House of Lords:

Lord Roberts of Conwy asked Her Majesty’s Government: When a printed version of the European Union reform treaty, signed in Lisbon, will be available to Parliament. [HL81]

Baroness Ashton of Upholland: All intergovernmental conference papers, including draft versions of the EU reform treaty, have been placed in the Library of the (20 Nov 2007 : Column WA61) House. The latest text, which has been prepared for discussion in the Jurists-Linguists technical translation group from 12 to 16 November, was circulated to Parliament on 31 October. We will continue to forward any further draft texts to Parliament as soon as we receive them.

We expect to lay the final EU reform treaty before Parliament shortly after formal signature by Heads of State and Government at the 13 December meeting.

*The moment Brown and Miliband sign the Treaty they will have acted ultra vires and committed High Treason. They do not have the right to surrender the indivisible Sovereignty of the British people and to do so will place them in violation of the Treason Felony Act.

  1. Are you going to get the police involved when this is done ?
Can you get them on conspiracy to treason ? (Before they sign)
What is the current penalty for selling out your nation ? Lets ask Ian Paisley.

  2. In a sense, this is nothing new, really. I sometimes think that 60 years of "peacetime", coupled with the explosion of our "consumerist" lives (ie, the way we idolise things such as football, Playstations, cars, etc) has numbed us to the overarching reality of history – ie, that it’s really just one war after another, in the long run, and that "peacetime" is merely the interlude between such wars.
Yes, the EU is a corrupt, Stalinist entity, for sure. And the current UK "government" is also such. In a sense, I just sigh and say "what’s new"? T’was always thus, in human affairs.
Bloody depressing comment, eh? I need another drink!

  3. If as you say they commit an offence under the Treason Felony Act could a private individual take action ? Are the Prime Minister and Foreign Secretary covered under some form of Crown immunity ?
If so then who does what ?

  4. Success at last! We have got our way and destroyed the English parliament. One mans treason is another mans patriotism.

I’m sure they’re shaking in their boots.

  6. The Doctor –

It is obvious that Treason and High Treason has been done, is being done and will continue to be done by those engaged in any negotiations with the EU. Yet those who should immediately recognise this criminal activity, particularly in the legal fraternity consistently fail to do so. The Laws of Treason are now not even taught in our universities.

Remedy will not be found in a judiciary which has been infiltrated for decades. When Maastricht was ratified in 1992 Norris McWhirter, then of the Freedom Association, laid charges of Treason against Douglas Hurd and Francis Maude. As you would expect from the founder of the Guinness Book of Records, his case was impeccable:

The CPS ignored it. After 5 months of silence the case was dropped without explanation. Patriots have attempted to revive it without success. The judiciary is sworn by oath to serve the Crown in the body of the Queen, a woman who has not demonstrated even once that she opposes the surrender of the Sovereignty of the British people.

Our only remedy is Article 61 of Magna Carta, by which the people, by word or force, have the right to put right an erring Monarch or even remove them from the Throne.

But who knows of that ancient remedy? Education in our nation’s history was scrapped for a reason.

  7. It’s a bit ‘sideways’ maybe but the Death Penalty is still available for acts of High Treason (amongst other things).
Not a lot of peole know that.

  8. JM –

Not any more. Blair and the Queen saved their necks when they tagged on an amendment to the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 abolishing the death penalty for the last remaining crimes drawing the ultimate punishment – High Treason and piracy with violence. The amendment was added and the Queen signed.

  9. "If as you say they commit an offence under the Treason Felony Act could a private individual take action ?"

John Gourier tried it later as well as Macwhirter, trying for the more obvious target of Heath. Didnt work then either.
