YOU cannot make it up.

“Only government can make the markets work in the public interest and not their own interest,” says the fascist creep Gordon Brown, and that “markets need not just money men but morals.”

Dear reader, that’s you he’s talking about. Since he believes you acting in your own self interest is immorality in action, it follows that the individual must be immoral and steered to goodness by government – benevolent, all wise, all knowing government.

If Gordon Brown can sincerely claim to be free of fascist thought he must be even more ignorant of markets and economics than we fear, which may be true since ignorance of economic science is the leitmotif of the Left.

The question is, which prospect is worse?

  1. Spot on Pete, the mask has slipped.

Jimmy, markets consist of the decisions made by individuals.

  2. Jimmy:

    No, I believe you’re a moral.

Be grateful for that space between the "a" and the "m".

  3. Jimmy Sands –

As I said, ignorance of economic science is the leitmotif of the Left.
