Because Friday night is Music Night.
Another week done, a week in which Giuliani came to regret picking up the budget hair dye. The world is going to Hell, probably on an electric handcart, but the rugby season starts tonight so I’m alright.
I’ve realised that we’ve never had a selection from one of my favourite albums, that album being Setting Sons by the Jam. A shocking omission, I know. 1979 was such a vintage year. They all were back then in my memory. So it’s a great cover of a great tune by Martha Reeves and the Vandellas. It’s so good it’s as good as The Who’s version. This is where Motown and Rock n Roll come together, really.
Have a great weekend, whatever you’re up to. As always, feel free to share your top sounds down below –
