COMMIES TO STEAL THE SUPREME COURT

By Pete Moore On April 9th, 2021

President Joe Biden will create a commission to study possible changes to the Supreme Court, including adding seats or instituting term limits, the White House announced Friday.

They say Joe Biden. Everyone knows he won’t be around long. The radicals who would follow him aim to steal the Supreme Court by packing it with radicals, revolutionaries, wrong’uns and weirdos just like them. Don’t bother asking by what constitutional right they could do it. This is about power.

  1. “Don’t bother asking by what constitutional right they could do it.”

The number of seats on the Supreme Court is governed by laws passed by congress.

  2. Republicans twisted the rules and protocols when in power to get their candidates onto the court. What’s sauce for the goose…

  3. Have you ever heard of Merrick Garland?

You guys violated the Constitution, threw it in a fire. Biden isn’t talking about doing that.

  4. Don’t bother asking by what constitutional right they could do it. This is about power.

Yeah, like when McConnell prevented Obama appointing Merrick Garland nine months before the 2016 election “because there’s an election coming” and then rammmed through the appointment of the sperm count woman a few weeks before the 2020 election.

What goes around usually comes around. Suck it up.

And get ready for DC statehood.

  5. DC statehood is a scam.

But Mitch McConnell, Trump and their sheep buddies were all in on defying the Constitution on Garland. They are all invited to keep quiet forever on this one.

  6. If you understood the Constitution and how our nation works you’d be laughing as hard as I am at that statement…. but neither of you do.

The Rules that you complain about are rules of the House and Senates own creation. They say ignorance is bliss, but ignorance on how your government works….

  7. DC statehood is a scam.

Why? It has a bigger population than North Dakota and only slightly less than South Dakota.

  8. Phantom –

Nonsense. Mitch McConnell acted entirely within the constitution. Article II states that Supreme Court Justices are appointed “by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate”. The Senate did not offer its consent.

You lot, Democrats, began the ppolitical bun fights with the rejection – and defamation – of Robert Bork. This is a fight you started. Don’t get squeamish now.

  9. The filibuster needs to be abolished. It is totally undemocratic and would not be tolerated in any other democracy.

McConnell is a stinking hypocrite and he better get used to being senate minority leader and getting kicked around. The Dems have good reason to hate him and he has fallen out with the GOP messiah in Mar a Lago, so Republicans have no need for his support any longer. He’s the Wizard of Oz of the GOP. Time’s up Mitch!

  10. Peter D.C. is defined specifically as to why it can never be a State in the Constitution.

To change it into a State Legally the Constitution must be Amended. The House and Senate need to write the Amendment, Pass it with 2/3rds Majority and then it has to go on the Ballot in Every State the next National Election where it has to be accepted by 2/3rds of the States.

  11. The Senate under McConnell never considered the nomination.

All those Republican Senators should have been expelled.

  12. “All those Republican Senators should have been expelled.”

The CCP is populating Hong Kong, Tibet and Sinkiang with people like you.

  13. The Filibuster is a Prevention AGAINST DEMOCRACY…. democracy/simplemajority is against the very spirit of our nation and founding.

We are a Republic not a Democracy, it is one of the checks and balances to prevent mob rule and chaos.

At no time in History has both the House and the Senate been more equally balanced. The senate is 50/50 and there is only a ten seat difference out of 435 members of the House of Representatives, the balance has never been closer the Dems do not have a Mandate to change anything.

Getting rid of the Filibuster at this time for these reasons would be the worst disaster that could happen that the world may not want to witness.

  14. To change it into a State Legally the Constitution must be Amended. The House and Senate need to write the Amendment, Pass it with 2/3rds Majority and then it has to go on the Ballot in Every State the next National Election where it has to be accepted by 2/3rds of the States.

Debatable at best. Let the SCOTUS rule on it.

  15. it’s NOT debatable you see that’s what you don’t seem to grasp Peter.

Washington D.C.’s Existence is DEFINED in the Constitution. To make it a State THE CONSTITUTION must be AMMENDED….. the above are the LEGAL Requirements to Ammend the Constitution.

Changing ANYTHING in the Constitution REQUIRES an Amendment, D.C. is in the Constitution.

  16. The Filibuster is a Prevention AGAINST DEMOCRACY

    LOL

You excuse McConnell blocking Merrick Garland from the SCOTUS 10 months before the 2016 election and bulldozing through the sperm woman one month before the 2020 election, because “senate rules” allowed him to.

The filibuster is not in the constitution, it is also a result of “senate rules” so the senate can vote to abolish it any time. And now seems as good a time as any.

  17. it’s NOT debatable

Yes it is for sure debatable:

    https://dailycaller.com/2021/01/30/dc-statehoood-constitutional-amendment-congress-pass-legislation/

  18. “the sperm woman”

Hateful mysoginy. Say her name, whoever she is, whatever she does, when she should be cooking and ironing instead.

  19. I didn’t say the Filibuster was in the Constitution…. I said it was in the Rules of the Senate that Senators wrote themselves and the original reason for the Rule to prevent EXACTLY what the Democrats want to do.

The Rule exists to prevent massive changes to the structure of the system every time the majority shifts and right now the Dems don’t even have a Majority they have a tie which only the VP can break which is a roll of the dice that it’s the same party….

  20. Hateful mysoginy. Say her name

She claims to believe that “every sperm is sacred” as the Monthy Python song goes, so sperm woman seems appropriate.

You used to refer to Obama as “the Kenyan” as I recall. Nothing hateful there for sure.

  21. You can post all the ginned up Opinions you want The Law States…. the ONLY way the Constitution can be Changed is by Amendment and you can cite no LAW that over rides that simple fact.

  22. So since you supposedly are a ” Constitutional originalist ” ( ha ha )

You should support getting rid of this rule, which the Constitution never called for.

  23. The rules of the constitution give the Democrats control of the senate. So they can change the rules of the senate if they wish. Just like your guys used the rules to block one SCOTUS judge in 2016 and ram through another in 2020.

And if your guys regain the senate in November 2022 or November 2024 you will win big time. I can’t imagine that you would be in a hurry to bring back the filibuster.

  24. sure I actually have no problem with it being removed.

Remove it. let them pass everything they want. I think it would be the best thing that could happen.

    and I’m serious.

  25. Yes Patrick, that’s what happens in all democracies, whether they are republics like France or monarchies like the UK.

Majority rule can seem like tyranny for sure. I happen to believe that the UK is just half way through a 20 year period of Tory rule, but as a democrat I have to accept it. The house of lords can only delay legislation by one year at most, and of course it is a corruptly appointed chamber anyway with no democratic legitimacy. You guys are much better off with an elected senate, even if it means North Dakota is as important as California.

  26. This country is not based on Majority rule….. We are not France nor England, nor any other nation. We are the United States of America… we are unique.

The system was designed to prevent Majority or One Party Rule, the System was designed that the Power flowed from the people to our Representatives, not from the Government to what they feel the people need or don’t need….

The Democrats are out of control they are walking a very dangerous line, one that can be easily crossed to a point of no return.

A point that you are rooting for. Why is that.

  27. The Democrats are out of control they are walking a very dangerous line, one that can be easily crossed to a point of no return.

Can you elaborate? Removing the senate filibuster (probably won’t happen anyway) hardly seems like executing King Louis in 1792.

  28. It’s not removing the filibuster, it’s the policies they would pass via one party rule that would be crossing the line.

  29. You mean policies they were elected on?

  30. They weren’t elected on the policies they want to Pass Peter and not only did they not get elected on those policies they lost seats….

Any way you cut it they do not have a mandate.

  31. What policies have they sneaked in since the election?

And they gained seats in the senate and retained control of the house. As well as winning the presidency by the same margin in the EC that Trump won in 2016, and the popular vote by seven million.

That would look like something resembling a mandate to most of us who believe in democracy. It looks a bit like you only believe in it when your guys win.

  32. You frauds said that Trump had a mandate when he snuck in there

  33. I never said it.

  34. Peter while you are driving over the cliff you may want to look further back in the thread where I said….. They should do away with the filibuster, I meant it.

  35. Paul Ryan and conservative commentatators others said it

Trump himself claimed a mandate, even though he had fewer votes

  36. It exists for the reasons I stated above. It is also a totally frivolous nonsensical rule that has become a crutch.

It should be removed, “Elections have Consequences” let the chips fall.

  37. They should do away with the filibuster, I meant it.

That’s good Patrick, we agree on that. But then you threatened dire consequences if it happened and I asked you to elaborate on what you meant. Maybe you can do that now?

  38. but he didn’t have a mandate Phantom, and I never said he did.

I don’t mind defending my positions, I won’t defend anyone else point of view.

  39. What you want me to say we’ll grab our guns and raid the capital…. sorry skippy that’s not my meaning.

The Democrats have a Socialist Agenda combined with all sorts of restrictions and rules. They should pass it all at once. Which is their wet dream of what they would do with no filibuster.

I think they should lose the filibuster and pass everything they want in one fell swoop. The reaction will be interesting to watch. And it would not lead to gunfire, but it would lead to one hell of a rebirth in people clamoring to restore the Constitution which to me is THE victory.

  40. Fair enough Patrick. But the Democrats have a mandate and unlike your party they had an actual platform in November which they are now trying to enact. Your party had none, apart from adulation of Il Duce.

  41. no Peter they don’t

  42. So when would an elected president have a mandate to implement his platform

  43. no Peter they don’t

How come? They control the White House the senate and the house. If your guys had those three, you wouldn’t be bitching about “no mandate”, nosiree.

So when would an elected president have a mandate to implement his platform

A President only ever has a mandate domestically directly in ratio of their personality.

Other than inspiration a President has no power to create law, yet counting this one the last 3 have and it’s a real problem.

  45. Excellent dancing.

FDR had a mandate for change given by the voters on Election Day. So did Reagan. And others.

  46. True but they themselves could do nothing and Reagan had to work with Tip O’Neil to accomplish everything he wanted to get done.

It was Reagans mandate but everything that was passed and accomplished was done by a Democrat Congress.

  47. Patrick

Your comments on this thread make it very clear that you have a double standard. You had no problem with the legitimacy of the GOP control of the congress and senate in 2016-18. But you reject the legitimacy of the Democrats being in the same position in 2021. “No mandate…”

So you have no legitimate claim to be a supporter of democarcy. It’s clear that you only support it when your guys win. We saw that on 6 January when the Trumpist rioters were endorsed by a majority of GOP voters and Trump was exonerated by all GOP senators except hate-figure traitor Romney. And you are typical of what your party has become, a far-right anti-democratic cult, worshipping at the feet of one man and excusing mob attacks on democracy, even including Trump calling for Pence to be lynched. The GOP is Trump’s bitch and will remain so for the next few years at least. And it does not respect democracy.

  48. Peter they have a controlling majority that is true a majority doesn’t give you a mandate, but it does provide you with the ability to do what you want.

I would be perfectly fine if they do. I think that will give an article 5 convention the last push it would need to convene, and that is the only peaceful path forward.

  49. Peter do me a favor…. search 20yrs of my comments and find any support I have ever given to “Democracy”…..

I’ll save you the time. There are none. I don’t support “Democracy” I support the Republic and the LAW that RULES it… Democracy is mob rule and the mob is just that a mob and ALWAYS wrong

  50. An Article 5 Convention of States is silly blather by Groucho impersonator Mark Levin.

It will happen on the same day that the nations of the world decide to boycott China.

  51. from your mouth to gods ear…..

23 states already have set up a delegate system for an article 5 convention… we only need 32… with the over reach of this group it won’t be hard to get to 32

  52. Democracy is mob rule and the mob is just that a mob and ALWAYS wrong

Well it’s good that we have clarified that at least. So all of us in democracies are living under mob rule. How lucky are the Russians and Chinese and North Koreans to escape that fate. We should envy them for sure.

  53. Your grasp of politics Peter is only outdone by your grasp on the climate…. lol

  54. Your grasp of politics Peter is only outdone by your grasp on the climate…. lol

No Patrick, but you have revealed your contempt for democracy tonight. Thanks for your honesty.

  55. my contempt for it is nothing new…. I have always said what it is Mob rule and it’s not how things should ever be done anywhere. What is done in any other country is irrelevant to me. America is all that concerns me and our system was designed to be ruled by the Rule of Law.

The current administration is lead by a Man that has used over 40yrs of Political life to enrich himself and his family and nothing else who is now just shilling for a pack of predators who believe the only reason communism didn’t work was because it wasn’t them running it.

We have a pack of Bolsheviks seizing power the only question is how far it will go before it is stopped, and you better pray that it gets stopped before it actually gets rolling.

  56. my contempt for it is nothing new…. I have always said what it is Mob rule and it’s not how things should ever be done anywhere.

But you were cool with mob rule under Trump. I cannot recall a single criticism from you during those four years. And you have totally excused the Trumpist mob that invaded the Capitol on 6 January. Was that not mob rule? Oh wait, that was Trumpist mob rule, so of course you’re cool with it. It’s Dem mob rule that you oppose. So it all depends on which mob is trying to enforce its will. Four legs good, two legs bad.

  57. Peter you confuse issues and connect things that aren’t connected.

Jan 6th was a minor disturbance it wouldn’t even have rated as a riot in my home town and I know because I was there…. were you?

Trump was not my first pick for President Cruz was, but Trump did a fantastic job a job economically better than any President in the last 100 years and had the same gift at foreign affairs of Reagan and Nixon combined no one was more shocked than me and I’m proud to say I support him.

And unlike the Chinese bought and paid for thieving politician scum that we now have as a President Donald Trump was Investigated closer than any Leader of ANY NATION in History and they didn’t find an unpaid parking ticket they had to frame people around him to try and lie and the best part they wouldn’t…. lol

Sorry Peter your camp lack both morality and humanity, it’s driving force is for control. Where all we want is Liberty and Balanced Justice…..

you can’t force people into a direction, you can lead them somewhere, or you can get the hell out the way.

  58. Patrick

At this moment in time, the American people have given Democrats control of the House, the Presidency and (just about) The Senate. The Democrats have the permission of the American people to determine the political direction the country will take for the next couple of years at least.

  59. they should do what they feel is best Colm. They should implement everything they want. If as you say it’s what the people voted for then they have nothing to fear and further victory await them.
