Around 4.7 million people were waiting for routine operations and procedures in England in February – the most since 2007, NHS England figures show. (Labour was in government in 2997 – Ed.)

Nearly 388,000 people were waiting more than a year for non-urgent surgery compared with just 1,600 before the pandemic began.

What a horror show the NHS is. While the country stood on doorsteps to applaud their NHS heroes, most of those heroes were on the counch watching TV. And they think it deserves a bumper pay rise, the cheeky Arabs.
