Beware the JK Rowling sucker punch!

As you know, Scotland brought in a new “Hate Crime Public Order Act” on 1st April which essentially added a new set of those with “protected characteristics” to the existing protected characteristic of race. “Trans” was one element within this new grievance spectrum and anyone perceived to be “spreading hate” (aka making legitimate criticism) towards any of this group could expect a visit from Police Scotland!

Woke Academia and Islam

I thought this was a pretty interesting story that flags up the space where LGBTQ+ virtue signalling academics meet Islam. A senior Ulster University academic has said sending information on LGBT Pride to students at its Qatar campus is “highly problematic”.

IVF and Dante

Wonder if you saw the story about a “lesbian couple” who have given birth to each other’s sons and who have said that looking for a sperm donor was like ‘using Tinder’? Emily Patrick, 38, a creative producer, and Kerry Osborn, 35, a school teacher, from Gosport, Hampshire, had two sons named Elvis and Ezra, who were born to the couple via

On Easter and hope renewed!

A warm welcome back to my first Substack in several days! There is a good reason why I have been quiet here and that is because I have been very busy elsewhere because very late on Good Friday, a new grand daughter came into my life. You can imagine the excitement that this momentous event sent through my family circle and it once again affirms my view that

Crescent of Islam over Westminster Abbey…

In the very first instance, we shouldn’t be even remotely surprised that the crescent of Islam flies over Westminster Abbey. This was the sight that greeted anyone in the Westminster area yesterday and if they looked up at the massive tower of Westminster Abbey, there they saw the Pakistan flag. The Pakistan flag features the crescent of Islam.

A Titanic Fraud…

Not far from where I live is the very wonderful Titanic Exhibition Centre, built in the very shipyard – Harland and Wolf – that built the Titanic. There is just one slight problem here – the Titanic story as commonly understood is a massive fraud.

Royal Chemo

One of the great curiosities of the Cancer diagnosis given King Charles and Princess Catherine is how seemingly mild the consequences of harsh Chemo treatment has been on both of them. I wonder why this is so? Just consider Chemotherapy; Some types of chemotherapy may cause

Drag Queen Story Hour…

Isn’t it strange that Drag Queens seem focused on reading stories to our children? I wonder what might motivate such interest? Anyone daring to raise questions about this obscenity as immediately attacked as “transphobic” and any reasonable debate stifled but it is worth observing that these Drag Queens seem less keen to read to groups of our elderly citizens. I will leave you to draw the obvious conclusion.
