It is, unfortunately, a fact of life that anyone in Great Britain with even vaguely ‘centrist’ or ‘right-of-centre views’ perceives the BBC as an organ of the Left;  a broadcaster with a built-in bias against anybody, any politician, any Party, which views political life in this country in opposition to its own, narrow, egocentrically left-wing, liberally-biased viewpoint.

The Biased BBC blog, edited consistently by our own David, gives graphic illustration of that built-in bias against anyone who does not share, whole-heartedly, the BBC’s viewpoint.

Peruse, if you would, the following comments following a Guardian report on a statement by Eric Pickles on council propaganda news-sheets:-

He will have to close the BBC down, that spouts Tory propaganda on every news programme.

Well said, couldn’t agree more. I can barely watch the BBC news these days, it’s so full of Tory propaganda.

You’ll enjoy this headline.

Rising wages change terms of debate

My 85 year old Mum mentioned the BBC tonight. She said she had stopped watching the BBC News because its a Tory party broadcast.
She’s switched to Channel 4. I might do the same.

My query is quite simple: are these people on the same planet as the rest of us?

  1. Are people that supported and colluded in the obscenity that was Apartheid South Africa on the same planet as the majority of decent people?

Thankfully there’s also that radio channel that regularly invites David to give his views.
Hmmm, what was it called again….?

  3. Are people that supported and colluded with terrorists in NI on the same planet as the majority of decent people?

    Troll, you voted for them.

  5. Troll, the new Logical Unionist, trolling across numerous threads, spouting about stuff he knows nothing about. When Agit8ed used to do it, it was at least with politeness and courtesy, and an admittance that he didn’t really understand the situation. With LU, it was the same, tired rhetoric, but was amusing in its wine-fuelled pomposity and CAPITALISATION. With the latest incarnation however, it’s all anger and ignorance.

    On-topic

I have always found it amusing that people here constantly give off about the BBC, whilst constantly watching it and, in David’s case, appearing on it almost as often as Ant and bloody Dec 🙂

  6. Was Reagan a decent person despite the fact that he funneled US taxpayers’ money to terrorist groups in Nicaragua?

Were Israelis decent people when they voted the terrorist Begin into office as PM?
