Break-in at the Watergate Hotel ends in arrests

Five men, including US President Richard Nixon’s security chief, are arrested after breaking into the Democratic National Committee’s headquarters at the Watergate Complex in Washington, DC. What Nixon’s press secretary later dubs a ‘third-rate burglary’ will be the undoing of a presidency.

    Today All The President’s Men trying to break out of that lunatic asylum the White House before it’s too late.

    BTW does everyone agree that there is something seriously wrong with Pence?

    If Trump had any sense, he’d do a Tricky on it and resign before he’s trounced by Sleepy Joe in November. But either way, another criminal Rep president will be gone by January.

  2. Yes, it’s a case of “yond Mike has a lean and hungry look”.

    Trump is bad, no question. But there’s also something harmless, almost comforting, about that big lump of dumb. It’s easily conceivable that a much worse president, in terms of impact, will be with us at some time. One thing the Trump story has taught us is that a sizeable portion of the American population would easily vote for a really evil bastard under certain circumstances.

  3. I actually can’t recall ever hearing Pence speak. He just seems to stand around quietly and mysteriously, like a cat with a sly Mona Lisa smile…. waiting to pounce 🙂
