March 2011: The ObamaCare law is now yielding mayhem nationwide.

1. Human Health and Human Services Director Kathleen Sebelius has just admitted to lying about cost savings last year, before ObamaCare was signed into law – a $500 billion lie.

2.  Kathleen Sebelius has handed out almost 1000 (a thousand!!) waivers from the law, mostly to unions.

3. ObamaCare law was recently declared  void in Federal Court:  “He  (Judge Vinson) plainly stated that the law is unconstitutional, but defenders of ObamaCare seemed not to grasp that the judge meant the government was obliged to follow that edict”.

4. And, 28 (twenty-eight!) states are now challenging ObamaCare in court.

Oh! Can’t forget — the cost of  my health insurance premium more than doubled last month! ObamaCare = mayhem! ….expensive mayhem.

  1. The primary goal of every Republican Senator, Congressman, and Governor should be making the argument for the election of a Republican President who will sign the repeal of ObamaCare. While I believe that the Supreme Court will strike down ObamaCare, there is no guarantee that they will, so Republicans need to make the argument for ObamaCare’s repeal.

  2. I didn’t see where Kathleen Sebelius “just admitted to lying”. If she did not, then wouldn’t that be……lying?

  3. “I did not have sex with that woman,” claimed Clinton – Democrat– later arguing that his cigar game with Monica was not sex — red dress stains, be damned!

Sebelieus was lying about the total cost when she double counted – a $500 billion lie.

  4. Wow, I never realised Clinton was a Democrat until Patty helpfully put that word after his name in the above comment. 😉

  5. Do you see where you argument that she was lying and the claim that she “admitted lying” are two distinct things?

  6. Do you see where if Sebelius underestimates the total cost of ObamaCare because she knowingly double counts cost savings that she is intentionally misrepresenting the bottom line? — in other words, lying?

If Sebelius admits to double counting – then she admits to lying…or “misrepresenting the truth” for the more delicate among us.

  7. You can make any arguments you want (and someday might try using neutral source material) but you should be more careful in what you write.

  8. Kathleen Sebelius has handed out almost 1000 (a thousand!!) waivers from the law, mostly to unions.

Would anyone suggest that waivers from an unpopular law, which the government foisted on very many people who clearly did not want it, for many groups of favoured client classes, is a good thing?

Would they not suggest that unless the law applies equally to all then the idea of law is ridiculed?

Why would a government dispense with so many waivers from a law which it fought to hard to impose on most Americans?

  9. I was intentionallyand with great care calling her a liar, Mahons.

You – and others-spend an inordinate amount of effort trying to soften the edges of the ObamaCare lies but the truth is readily apparent, more and more each day.

Just for fun, explain how knowingly “double counting” is not lying?

  10. Mahons, Emerald: knowingly double counting is lying. Sebelius admitted she double counted — ergo, she admitted she lied.

  11. The dishonesty of the Reid/Pelosi/Obama years is disgusting.

Apparently, they snuck in pre funding for 8 years into the ObamaCare Bill. Without telling anyone. So ObamaCare is funded for 8 years! Never mind “defunding” it, then! Mind boggling dishonesty.

What else are we going to discover in this bill?

They lied about the cost, the substance, and the intent.
